"Oh mine God! Kyle," A young lady who just walked into my son's ward exclaimed walking up to Kyle, who is seated on a chair, Doctor Sam walked in too, followed by another man, whom I am yet to know his identity as well as the lady’s.

"Kyle darling are you okay?" She asked hovering over him as if he is a child that needs protection or something and I find this irritating, I think she is his wife though...

"What the heck is wrong with you, Kyle? How can you put your life at risk like this?" She asked again her voice filling the room, getting me more irritated because she is disturbing my son and I wonder who she is and why the doctor is not saying anything about it.

"Am fine, you don't need to overreact, Sonia, am alright," Kyle told her pulling her arm away from his face. "What are you doing here?" He asked the lady whom he just identified as Sonia.

"How do you mean Kyle, am here to see you, because I care about you Kyle, you shouldn't just risk your life for just anyone," Sonia told Kyle in reply and this sparked something in me that I just couldn't keep calm anymore.

"How dare you, woman?" I asked furiously turning to face her, "My son is not just anyone you hear me," I snapped at her.

"Excuse me? And who the heck are you?" Sonia asked in such an irritating manner that I felt the urge of giving her a smack on the face, but I just had to control myself and it took me great self-control to be able to do that.

"I am Alex's mum, you here me, Alex's mum, and my son is not just anyone, and if not for this man here," I told her waving my hands towards Kyle, "My son wouldn't be here fighting for his life," I added.

"Calm down you two, this is not the right place for this." Doctor Sam said walking in between us.

"Hey, mind your language, and do well to address my fiancé properly, do you understand?..." Sonia brawled at me, ignoring Doctor Sam, "You are a careless mum then, you neglected your son, and now you are endangering my Kyle's life as well, if your son's life is not important to you, my Kyle's life very much is important to me," she said again and in an aggressive manner, if not for what Doctor sam just said about we disturbing Alex, I don't think I would have taken this act of hers without a befitting reply.

I just had to control myself, Jimmy and Vicky also are giving me a gesture not to respond to her anymore.

"Stop it, Sonia, that's enough," Kyle said, he is still seated on the chair, looking very weak, I guess they drew more blood from him, because Alex needed more and I heard from Vicky that he was the one who insisted on the nurses taking as much blood from him that is needed for Alex's transfusion.

His weakness or how he looked is none of my concerns anyway, what's very important to me right now is for Alex to wake up and be alright.

I wonder what he is doing here, he was asked to lay on a bed and rest for a while but he chose to sit here like this, insisting on seeing Alex, I'm also wondering what he is trying to do or gain by doing that, I was already irritated by his presence here and now this b*tch of a woman, who the heck do they think they are?" I asked within me, biting down my lower lip, as I feel myself getting angrier by their presence here.

"Kyle, you shouldn't have come here, you should not have given your blood, I mean, look at you man, you look terrible," the man that worked in with Sonia and Doctor Sam said to Kyle.

"You should have checked the blood bank Doctor Sam, you shouldn't have done this man, how much blood did you take from him? He looks so weak." The man added turning to Doctor Sam.

"Stop it, Brian, I'll be fine, it's not like am sick or something," Kyle told the man.

"Shut up little Bro. Dad will not be happy you did this," the man he addressed as Brian said to him.

"Look Brian, I took Kyles blood because it's going to be too late for us to wait for the blood bank, I already requested for the blood when the boy was admitted, but as you know this blood type is a very rare one." Doctor Kyle told Brian.

"That's not enough to risk Kyle's life, Doctor Sam," Sonia snapped at Doctor Sam, "And for what? For this? This low-life?" She asked, pointing towards Alex and this made my blood boil to the point I could not control myself anymore...

I reached out immediately and gave her a smack on the face, "How dare you call my son a low-life?" I asked after the smack.

Sonia held her face immediately with her left palm, I guess she didn't see that coming, the same goes for everyone present in the room.

"You slapped me?" Sonia asked, still holding her palm against her face.

"Yes, I slapped you, and I will do that again if you don't show some respect for my son," I told her furiously, "My son is here fighting for his life, a life your so-called fiancé almost took from him, you should be praying for his quick recovery, instead you are here running your mouth," I yelled at her.

"How dare you?" She said and lifted her hands to slap me in return but Vicky and Jimmy stopped her, Doctor Sam came in between too.

"Calm down Sonia, we have a better way of dealing with this," Brian told Sonia, holding her back and I wonder what better way that is, but that's not my problem now, I just can't stand anyone insulting my little boy.

"You should never have slapped her woman," Brain said to me in Sonia's defense.

"Teach her some manners then," I snapped at Brian.

"Take them away from here Doctor Sam, Alex doesn't need this right now," Jimmy told Doctor Sam.

"For this slap, I'll teach a lesson, a lesson you will never forget in a hurry," Sonia said pointing at me.

"I'm not afraid of you," I told her in clenched teeth, still furious.

"I came here to try and settle this issue with your son's accident, but I think you are not a woman to reckon with, so I guess this visit is not what it." Brain told me.

"That's it?" Sonia asked Brian when he whispered something to her, I don't know what it is but from her reaction, she is not cool with it, "You know what? Am not going to let this slide, I'm going to make sure she pays for this insult." Sonia said, she opened her purse, took out her phone and walked towards the door.

"Sonia...Sonia..." Kyle called out for her, but, she didn't turn as she walked on and out of the room.

I looked at him feeling more irritated than before, "I think it's time for you to leave," I said angrily to Kyle, I just couldn't stand his presence anymore.

"What?" Brian asked, sounding surprised, "Do you know who you are talking to?" He asked again glaring at me.

"Well, I do not care," I snapped at Brian, also glaring at him.

"Okay, am going to leave now, I'm sorry," Kyle said to me.

"What the heck are you doing apologizing to her, if anyone is apologizing, Kyle, it should be her, man, she hit your fiancée on the face," Brian told Kyle, angrily.

"Don't worry about it Brian, please give me a hand," Kyle told Brian lifting an arm to him, "Help me up, Brian..."

"You are a very rude woman, very rude, I must say," Brian told me, helping Kyle up.

"Well thank you... now leave," I told him...
