"Where are we going to, Dad?" Alex asked after we have bid Brian and Belinda goodbye, Mum did not come out of her room even after she heard that I am leaving the house, I guess she is still mad because of the fight she and dad had or probably because she did not support my leaving the house.

I needed to, I said within me as this concerns my family now.

"Dad, I asked you a question, where are we going to?" Alex asked again when I did not reply to him the first time.

"Oh sorry, Alex, we are going to our own house," I replied glancing at him and Sandra who are both seated at the back seat of my car as I am driving myself this time.

"Are we going to take Mum with us?" Sandra asked.

"Of course sweetheart, your mum is going to come with us," I replied Sandra taking another peek at them, "we are going to go to the hospital first to see Mum, alright," I added.

"Yey!" They both echoed, sounding very excited.

"Is mum alright now, can we take mum with us?" Sandra asked.

"Mum will need to stay in the hospital, for now, Sandra that way she will get better alright," I told her after giving it a quick thought so that I can say the right words.

"Okay, Dad..." she replied.

"Kyle... what happened? You are here with the kids," Doctor Sam asked and said hello to Alex and Sandra.

"Doctor Sam I think I would like to hear your suggestion, the one you talked about earlier," I told him after I have sat down with Alex and Sandra on my laps.

"I take that your meeting did not go well with your Dad," Doctor Sam said.

"Yeah, Doctor Sam, in a matter of fact, I have moved out of the house..." I told him.

"You moved out?" He asked with a surprised look on his face almost as if it is impossible for me to do so, and it would have been impossible if not for the situation at hand.

"Yes, Doctor Sam, I did," I replied.

"Alright, tell me about it later okay, for now, I need to go check on my patient," he said standing up from his seat, let's go, Kyle," he added.

"Which patient are you talking about?" I asked even though I think it is Kimberly.

"Miss Kimberly off course," he said.

"I know..." I muttered, picking Sandra up in my arm and taking Alex's hand.

"Alex-Sandra..." Vicky said taking the kids in her arms immediately she saw them, I guess she is surprised to see them, and thank goodness she did not yell at me for being here, I think Alex and Sandra called her.

"Why are they here?" Jimmy asked after hugging them both too, and after the kids has seen their Mum.

"I brought them to see their mum before bringing them to their new home," I said looking from Jimmy to Vicky.

"Bring them to their new home, I do not understand," Vicky said looking at me in surprise.

"I left my home, Vicky, I replied.

"Miss Kimberly is good, Kyle, I will have to head to my office," Doctor Sam said in between.

"Alright Doc," I replied even though I am not seeing any physical improvement yet, I just need to believe what Doctor Sam says, "I will be coming back here Doctor Sam after I have safely brought Alex and Sandra to their new home," I told him.

"Alright, see you then," Doctor Sam said and excused himself.

"Now tell me, Mr Kyle, where are you taking Alex and Sandra?" Vicky asked me sounding hostile again.

"I told you that I left my home," I said again.

"Why do you have to leave your home?" Jimmy asked staring at me.

"I arrested Sonia..."

"You arrested Sonia?" Vicky asked immediately interrupting me and widening her eyes too at me, I think she sounded happy rather surprised.

"Yes, Miss Vicky, but..."

"But? But what?" Vicky asked interrupting me again, and this time furrowing her brows at me.

"My Dad gut her released even before she got to the police station," I told them.

"We argued about it and that is why I decided to take Alex and Sandra away and live in my house away from my dad's house," I added before they could ask me any questions.

"Oh, I see..." Vicky muttered staring at me although I do not know what she is thinking right now.

"I told you not to be quick to judge him," Jimmy said to Vicky almost like a whisper.

Oh, I see, I said within me, I did not know Jimmy spoke to her in my favour.

"Look, Miss Vicky, Jimmy, I would like Vicky to stay with Alex and Sandra while I watch over Kimberly, I will feel more comfortable watching over her myself," I told them.

"I would watch over Alex and Sandra," Vicky said after a while and after glancing at Jimmy as if to seek his approval or something, I must admit they looked so good together and seem to be into each other, I wish such a relationship will exist between me and Kimberly someday.

"Thanks, Vicky, Jimmy," I told them.

"You do not need to thank us, Kimberly is family to us, right Jimmy?" Vicky said and asked turning to Jimmy, she sounded so different now and it felt heart warming.

"Look, I am sorry, Kyle," Vicky told me taking me by surprise because I feel like I am the one who needs to apologise to her for everything I have done to her friend.

"Yes, Kyle, I know a good man when I see one, you are a good man," Jimmy added before I could say anything.

"I do not know what to say, guys," I replied shrugging my shoulders and looking from them to Alex and Sandra who both seemed engrossed in their conversation.

"I think everything will turn out fine," Jimmy said to me, their words cheered me up and think I have found a new friendship in them, and hopefully as Jimmy has said everything will turn out well...
