"What did you say?" Sonia asked in a trembling voice, her face turning pale.

"You heard me, Sonia, I said I have proof that you do not love me as you claim you do and I am going to play it so that my family can hear it for themselves," Kyle said producing a phone from his pant pocket, "I was going to do this later, Sonia, but you give me no choice," Kyle added starting at Sonia who now looked so uneasy to me.

"Please leave us," Brian said turning towards me, Vicky and Jimmy.

"No, Brian, I think they should hear this too, after all, it is because of Sonia they are here," Kyle said to Brian immediately, and then played the recording from his phone immediately afterwards, ignoring Sonia's plea not to.

I was am dumbfounded by the words I heard coming from Sonia's mouth in the recording and as I turned to the other faces in the room, I can see how shocked they all looked.

"You mean you have been deceiving me all this while?" Kyle's Mum asked Sonia angrily.

"No... Mum, it's not what you think..." Sonia stammered.

"You are not even planning on giving me a grandkid?" Kyle's Mum asked her again, while Kyle's Dad furrowed his brows at her.

"No...no... Mum, it is not what you think..." Sonia stammered again.

"Get out of my house, Sonia," Kyle's Dad suddenly said to Sonia in a deep husky voice.

"Dad..." Sonia stammered turning to Kyle's Dad.

"I said get your things and leave my house, Sonia," Kyle's Dad shouted at Sonia before she could say another word, and then placed his left hand on to his chest.

"Dad..." Brian shouted running to hold his Dad, Kyle and his Mum too did the same and think he is having a heart attack right now.

"Get away from my husband, Sonia," Kyle's Mum shouted at Sonia when she walked closer to touch Kyle's Dad.

"Get the doctor, Brian," Kyle's Mum instructed Brian immediately afterwards, "and you, Kyle help me lift your Dad, we need to get him to his room, you too, Belinda," she said gesturing to the woman with Brian earlier.

"Brian," Kyle's Mum called again after Brian who was about dialling, on his phone as Kyle and Belinda helped Kyle's Dad up, "see to it that Sonia leaves this house immediately and I do not want to see her anywhere near my house you got that?" She instructed Brian again authoritatively.

"And you, Kimberly," she called to me in that authoritative tone.

"Yes..." I answered, my heart almost in my throat, I think it is because of the fierceness in her tone.

"See to it that my grandkids are well taken care of," she ordered me gesturing towards the direction of Kyle's room.

"Yes, Ma'am," I replied immediately.

She joined Kyle and the lady she addressed as Belinda to help her husband immediately afterwards.

I am so dazzled at the way things turned out, and looking at Vicky and Jimmy, I guess they feel the same way, I hope that Kyle's Dad gets better and that it is nothing serious.

"Come, Sonia, you have to go now," Brian told Sonia after his phone call.

"Help me, Brian," Sonia told Brian pleadingly.

"There is nothing I can do for you, Sonia, I agree with my parents, Kyle deserves better," Brian told her, "I can't believe you said all that, I thought you love Kyle all this while," Brian added, gesturing for her to follow him.

"It is all your fault you skinny b*tch, Sonia said rushing towards me, but Brian stopped her before she could get to me, even Jimmy and Vicky stepped in too in my defence.

"She has nothing to do with this, Sonia, it is all your doing," Brian told her sharply, pulling her away from me.

"Get your hands off me," Sonia snapped at Brian, pushing his hand away from hers.

"You have won, right? Now you can have all your Dad's wealth to yourself," Sonia brawled at Brian again sound very furious.

"What the heck are you talking bout?" Brian asked her furiously too.

"He can have all my Dad's wealth, Sonia, it is none of your business," Kyle said walking back into the living room.

"What is she talking about, Kyle?" Brian asked Kyle sounding confused.

"Do not pay attention to her, Brian, she is one greedy b*tch," Kyle replied Brian.

"I feel sorry for you loser," Sonia shouted at Kyle, "you know what, go to hell for all I care, all of you," Sonia shouted, looking from Kyle to every one of us in the living room.

"Come on," Brian told her gesturing for her to go up the stairs, I think that's where her things are.

"I am sorry about this, Kimberly," Kyle told me, "Please I need you to go back to my room and stay with Alex and Sandra, I think they may be awake by now, please wait there for me, I need to stay by my Dad's side for now," Kyle said pleadingly touching my hand, I nodded in reply pulling my hand away from his, as I do not know how to reach, I mean, I have hated him for so long that I do not know how to react to him now that I know it was not entirely his fault.

"Please, don't go, I will be with you shortly," he added, still pleadingly.

"Go on, Kyle, she won't leave," Sonia told him in my place instead.

"I think I see a Ray of hope here," Jimmy said as we walk our way back to Kyle's room after Kyle has gone back to be with his dad.

"I think so too, Jimmy," Vicky added teasingly.

"Stop it, both of you, what Ray of hope are you both talking about?" I asked them, pretending as if I do not know what they are both talking about.

"A wedding, Kim, I think we will be planning a wedding soon," Vicky said, sounding blunt.

"A grand one at that," Jimmy added.

"Oh no, stop it you too..." I said widening my eyes at them as they both chuckled and walked ahead of me.

I can't believe we are even talking about a wedding, when what we can here for is taking Alex-Sandra home with me, and my friends must be crazy to think that I would fit into this world of Kyle, to me it is only an illusion...
