Bang, bang. Bang…

The sound of gun shots filled the air as Lucio and his men attacked Don Pedro’s villa.

Grandma Rosa has just been laid to rest in Lucio’s mansion earlier today, Lucio could not wait to see the man behind his mum’s death down, Rodrigo had prepared the men as he was commanded by his boss, Lucio.

Don Pedro’s and his men were taken unawares because they never expected Lucio to attack them on the same day he buried his mother.

“Don Pedro…” Lucio shouted once he entered into Don Pedro’s chambers, they were lots of bodies on the ground already, most of which are Don Pedro’s men.

Lucio had come very prepared and he does not really care the consequences, his eyes are burning with rage as he looked around the place for Don Pedro, who seemed to be taking cover himself from the many bullets that are fired into the air.

“Don Pedro…” Lucio shouted again, still looking around, he is also taking cover in other not to be hit by a bullet.

Suddenly Rodrigo appeared, holding Alfredo Verano hostage, the young man looked scared out of his wits.

“Don Pedro! An eye for an eye.” Lucio shouted again and smiled wickedly as Rodrigo brought Alfredo to him.

“I have your precious heir right here with me, so you better come out or I’ll blow his brains out.” Lucio said again, with a wicked grin on his face as he hold a gun to Alfredo’s head.

“Lucio!” Don Pedro called coming out from his hiding position, together with one of his own men pointing a gun towards Lucio and Rodrigo.

“Let my son go Lucio, this is between us.” Don Pedro shouted, still pointing his gun towards Lucio with a sad grin on his face.

Don Pedro had asked his son Alfredo to leave the city earlier today but Alfredo had refused saying he would like to stay by his side, looking at him now, he wished that he had never agreed for Alfredo to stay back, they may not have been in this situation. He thought.

“You killed my Mama.” Lucio shouted with rage. “Why Don Pedro?” Lucio asked, almost immediately his eyes burning with rage.

Before Don Pedro could say anything, the building exploded, followed by other explosions, and Don Pedro’s villa bathed in bloodshed.

Lora quickly went for her cell phone that was ringing in her hand bag, she looked at the screen to see who is calling, her heart jumped for joy when she saw that it was Michael Williams.

“Hello Mike.” Lora said into the phone as she place it on her left ear.

“Hey beautiful, I can tell from the sound of your voice that you've missed me so much.” Michael said over the phone.

“Yeah right, I have, I bet you didn't miss me at all. ” she replied, talking a little childishly on the phone.

“Of course I've missed you so much, than you can ever imagine, I just haven't been able to call after the last time we talked, because of the job I told you about.” Michael said, sounding so honey.

“How are you holding up? And how is your mum doing? Say hi to her for me, please.” He added.

Lora had told him all that had happened to her before, the arranged marriage, her grandma passing, how she found her mum and her mum's condition.

“Well am good, the only thing is I miss my boyfriend so much and my Mama too.” Lora said turning to touch her mum's face, she smiled at her from her bed.

“Mike, my Mum is a fighter, she had made so much progress you see, and she says, she can't wait to meet you.” Lora said still smiling at her mum, who smiled in return.

Camilla watched her daughter chat away with her boyfriend over the phone, she feels so much light hearted seeing her daughter, and she is thankful to Miguel for bringing her daughter to her, she is her miracle, she thought.

They heard over the news few weeks ago about a man named Don Pedro Verano and his son Alfredo Verano being killed by a cartel leader named Lucio Affonso, who happened to be her ex-husband and he father of her daughter Lora.

The news said so many discovery where made as to who the Billionaire, Lucio Affonso really is, and that he was using his businesses to disguise his real source of wealth.

The news also said that after the explosions that took place in Don Pedro’s mansion Lucio’s body have never been found, they believe his remains where burnt beyond recognition as there was no record of any survivors in the attack that was carried out in Don Pedro’s mansion by Lucio and his men.

The only thing they used to draw this conclusion is the ring that was identified as Lucio’s, which they have found when the investigations was going on, in Don Pedro’s mansion.

Camilla only hope that her daughter would be truly happy, they've interacted a lot and she had discovered how much pain she had gone through in the past.

For her, she is happy now that her beloved Lora is by her side.

Lora turned again to look at her mum, she didn't know she had such a sweet Mama, she didn't even object to her relationship with Michael, as she had thought she would.

She discovered that her mum had bought so many gifts which she never got a chance to receive and that she had also bought so many properties in her name, she is practically a billionaire herself, because her mum had left almost all that she has to her name.

She would have loved for her Papa to be with them, she missed her Papa sometimes, but not everything thing you wish for comes true, she thought.

She had heard the news of what happened to her Papa, Don Pedro and even Alfredo, she hope they would find peace wherever they are, and as for Catalina, her one time best friend, she didn't know what have become of her since she haven't heard anything about her since they parted ways.

At least she has Miguel Ramos to fill the void of a father for her, he tends to be a good and kind hearted man, she could see the love he has for her mum.

She wished that someday she could boast of such a man by her side, but as for today, she is happy that Michael Williams is by her side and her heart feels happy, in fact happier than it had ever been, and she is still looking forward to tomorrow in full faith.
