Chapter 13: Chapter 13

Cookie's standpoint

You want to know the cool thing about being an intelligent prankster, you get to be always prepared for the unexpected. I knew Yolanda's father would make due of his threat, so I blocked my ears with the earplugs I always carry in the pocket of my panties. Yes, I always wear pocket panties just in case of emergency. Well, I was tied to a chair in a room, Yolanda's singing voice record playing and me nodding my head to it like I was enjoying it. I could only hear a little of her loud voice, not enough to rattle my brain.

I tapped my foot as I pretended to sing along with a similar bad voice, just to get under his skin. My hands were tied behind my back, I wasn't comfortable, but I had no choice. 'You are the most annoying human being I have ever met,' I heard him said, it was almost inaudible because of the plugs. 'Untie her.'

Joyful exclamation!

I got released, and the blindfold removed, I smiled innocently at him and swayed myself back and forth with hands still behind my back. Oh, I know I was totally pulling off my cute baby look, and he would fall just like everyone else. 'Yolanda's daddy…'

'Ame,' he corrected coldly.

'Can I go to my room now? You literally pulled me out of bed at 3am in the morning, and made me listen to this fabulous concert.' I removed one hand and waved it around, making pleasing gestures to exaggerate how much I enjoyed the concert I didn't listen to. 'If I knew she sounded this good, I wouldn't have left earlier. I am sure you must be proud of her, she's got her daddy's voice.' I taunted him in the sweetest voice I had ever used.

His eyes twitched. 'I'm still going to make you suffer for what you did,'

'Don't you think you are too old to be getting back at a kid? I'm just sixteen,' I battered my lashes cutely and pouted.

'Sixteen, my ass,' he turned around and walked out of the room, grumbling to himself. Of course, my stubborn pestering button activated, so I skipped after him.

'Mr. Ame,'

'Get lost,' he spat venomously.

'Have anyone ever told you your legs look like fat tubers of yam?' I asked, looking at his slightly hairy but straight legs, his walking step was a-ma-zing. 'Two really fat amoeba legs?' He growled but ignored me. If he can shave his legs, I will worship them. I ran my eyes up to his back, damn! He is muscular! 'Your back look like an over punched wall.'

'Why are you following me? Do you want to die?'

'Death, this life, is meaningless, very meaningless.' I said with a shrug.

'And why is that?'

'Everyone live by grace, favor from thee who actually created us; what assurance do we have that a building won't just drop on us anytime from now? What makes us think that we can't just go outside and get hit by a bus? We can be poisoned, shot at, beaten to death, framed for a crime we didn't commit, fall sick and die at anytime and even sleep and never wake up. You are a mob king, you should understand what I mean by this.'

'That is a very cynical view,'

'I know, but it's just life.'

'You are right, though,' he said lowly, looking ahead. Such a peaceful conversation we were having, but then the buttons in me switched, one I couldn't control. I looked at his ass, eek! Big booty! I squealed and clapped my hands, an action that made him flinch. 'Are you insane!'

'Booty! Booty!' I squealed.

'What?'

'We've both got big ol' booties!'' I squealed again. 'This is my booty,' I patted mine gently. 'And this is yours!' I slapped his so loud the sound reverb through the hall. I grinned as I imagined steam coming out of his nostrils and ears. 'What a pretty face you have,' I pinched the bridge of his nose hard. That did it, he hurled me over his shoulder and headed somewhere. I should be scared, he was going to kill me and all, but my eyes just couldn't stop admiring his nice ass.

I dragged out a whistle and nodded. 'What a fine ass you've got, man!'

'By the time I'm done with you, your eyes will stay away from other people's butt.' I nodded, what's the worst he can do?

~~~
He did worse!
I repeat, he – did - worse!
He took me to a place, an underground room like a torturing ground, tied me to a pillar with painful heavy chains which spikes pierced into the first layer of my skin. I was crying because he had Carlos strip me to my underwear – not that I mind – and was whipping the hell out of my butt. The pain surged through my body in bolts of fire, and…and…whatchamacallit… Electricity. Each of my cries seemed to elicit his satisfaction, he had no idea what he had gotten himself into.
'That's enough, untie her,' he instructed. I was sweating terribly, tears had drenched my body as well. Carlos and the two other men were feeling pity for me, like my cries affected them like it should be, but the bastard didn't care! 'You are on dog duty and…hmm, you will start cleaning the entire house, before dawn I want this house squeaky clean, or I will send you to clean my pets cages.'
'I'm going to make you pay for this,' I cried. 'I promise you that.'
'In case you have forgotten, you are the slave here and I am the boss, there is nothing you can do about it.'
I snorted. 'We'll see,' he rolled his eyes, underestimating me. He signalled to Carlos to untie me and make sure I do what he asked. I'll show him.
~~~

I smiled with satisfaction as I rubbed my hands together, the plan was simple, use Yolanda. Yolanda was his weakness, a serious one. I finished my plan, what I was going to do was either going to kill me, or teach him a lesson. After suffering myself with cleaning, he banned the maids from giving me food and that is the height of it. I chuckled evilly and stepped out of the kitchen to my room. I took my bath and laid on my bed to sleep, drama time.

Ted's standpoint

If anyone told me that I would be on high alert because of a small girl, I would never believe it. One mind told me to forget about her threat, she's just a psychopath and that's all, but the other was laughing evilly at me. Even though I acted cool, I couldn't help but be paranoid, having River check everything before I use it. I walked into my office after River walked in first, I looked around suspiciously, what other stunt can she pull than a normal teenage prank. I cursed myself mentally, my heart was thumping very fast.

'Sit on the chair first,' I told River.

'On your chair?'

'Yes, your chair… I mean, my chair.' I stammered, remembering her ironic devilish smile… Wow, what is happening?

'Are you sure you are alright, sir?'

'Of course, sit down and be quiet,' I commanded. He sat down first, his nervous eyes fixed on me. When nothing happened for three minutes, I signalled him to stand up and leave. I sat down and checked my table thoroughly, everything was fine. 'You can leave.' He nodded still in confusion and walked out of the office.

Breathe, Ted, she's just a kid… I encouraged myself mentally. There was just something about her eyes and tone that made me really want to fear her… I shouldn't be but… Arch! She's exactly like my sister, innocently terrifying.

I continued my work, making phone calls and sending emails, nothing seemed to be out of place. I was slowly starting to relax, had a cup of tea to ease my nervousness while glancing at the screen that showed her exhausted sleeping form in her room. She can't possibly tamper with my house, she knows nothing. I coughed and cleared my throat, it was dry.

'Ted,' Carlos called, standing at the door. 'The men are ready to deploy, we need orders.' I waved him off dismissively and rounded up my work. I stood up from my chair and walked out to the yard, where all the men were patiently waiting for me. Yolanda was scolding River again, what did he do this time?

'…you don't even have any sense, foolish person!' She yelled, whipping his head with a cane.

'I didn't do anything,' he cried.

'You existing is one thing!'

'Yolanda,' I called. Everyone's attention turned to me, I cleared my throat again. 'Stop… Is this my voice?' I touched my throat, what happened to my voice?

'Dad, did you inhale helium?' She asked gigglingly.

'No, I don't understand… Ahem!' My voice sounded so tiny, like a squeaking mouse. She burst into laughter with Carlos and River. 'Be quiet! Don't laugh!' Even I won't fear me with the sound of my voice.
