Chapter 51: Chapter 51

"M-Mother...its my boyfriend who thought that I was taken to this place by force...Please do not call guards." Rue stood infront of Kharsan such that his bloody hands would not be visible in the darkness of night, It looked like she was being protective of him yet in reality she had long seen him taking out his gun and pointing it at Beth.

After hearing Rue call herself mother, Beth could only be silent for sometime and then asked while lowering her voice in a whisper trying to not attract the attention of guards stationed right outside.

"How did he entered your room-"

"Mother, he is brother's friend and Davion helped him."

Please believe me

For if you resisted Kharsan would not let you live, so please for your own sake, for mine and for my sacrifice to save Seir please retreat.

"Enough of the small talk, you are coming with me Rue." Rue cared about the circumstances but Kharsan only cared about her freedom thus when he held her wrist dragging her to the balcony he worried not if Beth would scream and call the soldiers or if the entire mansion rise and come after him.

He was here for her

"Where are you taking my daughter?!"

"I can't leave" Those words were so bizarre that Kharsan's movements froze and when he turned around to look at her she could not help but whimper. Beth was almost going to faint with how terrible the handsome face that shone in moonlight looked at that moment.

It was only Rue that clutched onto Kharsan's biceps and shook her head.

"I will not leave." If Beth wasn't here Rue would have told Kharsan that she would escape with Seir and also about her reason to be here but at this moment she did not trust her birthmother at all. After living so many years with Henry under the regime of Sylvesters how can his wife be completely unaware of the inner workings of the clans.

If she mentioned Seir, Henry would sooner or later know of her coming here.

"Rue, repeat what you said." She dared not repeat, not when Kharsan was looking so livid.

After that all her words were ignored and she was dragged in his grasp and Beth could only watch the scene unfolding, it was only when Rue whispered something did the male who was already in the balcony bathed in moon's glow stopped as if struck by thunder.

"If you take me away now, I will harm myself." Tears glittering like soft diamonds tumbled down her cheeks as Rue promised Kharsan with a resolve.

The masculine male could was so hurt by her words that he was struck into being silent for a long time, his grip on her wrists loosed and he stood there looking at her as if watching her for the first time...it was as if he wasn't gazing at his Rue but a stranger.

"I am sorry but I will not come with you." The euphonious voice was exquisite yet now it resembled a dagger that only stabbed his heart and the gut-wrenching agony that reflected in his eyes was so profound that they turned red.

"Why?" Kharsan asked Rue who was being held by Beth who looked shaken.

Why did she played with his heart like this?

He has waited for her so long.

Gave up even his pride, honor, position and even threw away his life for her.

Then why did she choose to leave him?

His Rue was soft and innocent, she could never think of herself but only of others then why did she do this?

Emerald irises glared at the female who can only look away with tears streaming down her face.

"Is it her who is forcing you to stay here...."Frost covered the entire arena with his chilling tone as he glanced at Beth before his irises swept over Rue who had her heart beating erratically as she looked at him with wide anxious eyes.

"...or is it something else?"

Scary

At this moment Rue was relived that she wasn't his enemy, she had always seen the gentle and caring side of him and had never known his true nature. It was only now that she was able to see how dangerous he was. If she did not know him since her childhood she would have never tried to cross paths with him.

"Come with me Rue, please." He tried again, even after she trampled upon his emotions Kharsan only thought of her and could not bear to leave her in the den of wolves thus he kept his pride aside and tried.

"I can't."

"Davion your sister is here." The angel was abruptly called inside Henry's office in the middle of the night and she steeled her heart for she knew what was coming for her but she was astonished when she saw Davion being there as well.

But unlike her who was standing, the male was kneeling with blood dripping down the corner of his mouth, it was just for a second that dark cerulean irises looked at her with intense emotions before they bowed again.

Rue could not help but feel chills down her spine, Davion whom she had always seen haughty and proud was bruised heavily and had the eyes of a person holding on the rope of survival, one wrong move and she would implicate him.

"I heard that your boyfriend visited tonight, why did you send him away so soon?"

Stay calm

Don't be afraid

"Father, when searching for my husband, what would be the things that you would see?" Henry who was observing Rue while hiding his fury under the gentle exterior got a question instead of a direct answer and for some time he was quite intrigued with this tiny daughter of his.

She was so valuable that he must squeeze the last drop of her worth.

"Wealth, honor and their ties to Sylvester...ofcourse I would see if they are worth you as well." Those were all lies for he would never care if she was sold off to a man his age if she could bring him benefits.

"I sent him away because although he had ties with Sylvesters but he neither had wealth equating us or honor t-that could match your standards. Furthermore I am now your daughter so I will marry whom you want me to and could not be with him anymore thus I had to do so."

Henry smiled at the reply like he looked satisfied.

"I am forgiving your brother to let that boy enter this time, from next time it would being severe punishment. Take him away with you." The innocent fairy nodded and helped Davion to rise before bringing him outside.

As soon as they were out of the chamber while shutting the doors, the smile of the monster dropped as he spat in rage while lighting a cigar.

"The bitch has such a glib tongue, if it wasn't for scarring that beautiful face I would have taught you well enough! A whore who hasn't even been here for a day and is already bringing men...looks like I don't have to worry about whom to marry you anymore..." Henry dialed a number which was for what he earlier decided not to hurry for and had a large smile on his face.

"Her first night...you can have it."

Unaware of anything the siblings walked the hallways with Rue supporting Davion, from starting to end the male stayed silent until Rue brought him to his room and only then he opened his mouth.

"the person who visited you... was he Kharsan?" When Rue nodded, the male swore heavily under his breath.

"That crazy bastard, does he even have any idea what would have been done to him if he was caught-" soft palm gently placed on Davion's mouth stopped him from uttering even a single syllable more.

"I would never let anything happen to him and he would always protect me." Even after she broke his heart Rue knew he would not abandon her.

"Brother" The female sighed heavily as she sat down on the bed while taking out first aid and treating Davion's wounds gently with tears in her eyes.

"Can you promise me something?" The fragile fairy had such a devastating sadness engulfing her that Davion pulled her in his close embrace trying to soothe her. They have known each other for just some days but it felt like years.

"I don't know what will happen to me in future, maybe I would not be pure for Kharsan to have anymore but in case he does not objects...brother even if something happens to me, please marry me to him. Its only him that I can love and the only one who can have my soul."

A month later

The days passed were somewhat hazy for Rue, Davion was sent far away from her by Henry and Beth was completely prohibited from seeing her. It was only her and the servants that ever interacted in the house.

Sometimes Henry would call her to eat with him and that's all that was what happened but often times Rue felt like she kept forgetting things and often more than not she slept alot and majorly only woke up to have lunch and dinner.

It was only on this dark night when no one was wake, she was passing the hallways to go outside in the garden did she with unfocused eyes saw a visage of a person infront of her and suddenly it was as if memories came tumbling down to her.

Sier

Why was she here?

She was here to save him

How did she forgot about him?

The female sensing something had her entire body trembling violently but before she could make a move she was pulled inside his room and the doors were shut silently.

"Rue! What has happened to you?!" When Seir was better than before he often times tried to silently know the whereabouts of the person who saved him despite the heavy danger and after many failed effort did he finally saw Rue a week ago being referred to as the princess.

It took him a great deal of effort to meet the absent minded fairy who did not resembled her previous self at all and only today he could lure her out.

"Are you sick or..did they drugged you?" hot tears dribbling down the cheeks of the fairy who shook her head, her head seemed to hurt alot and was very dizzy but the courage to survive was even more severe thus the female used her nails to wound her wrist and draw blood.

The pain gave her clarity of senses for sometime and ignoring everything else she clutched Seir.

"Rue-"

"What I am going to tell you must be known only to you and you must obey me, if not for yourself then for my life. I think..I think I am forgetting my previous memories and they seem hazy to me any maybe this is the last time I am in my sense so hear me out.

My betrothed had lost a brother in childhood and the moment I saw you and cross-verified your information it looked like that brother was alive...Its you. Its you who is not a common slave but a Villar and you were kidnapped by Henry."

"I-Its not possible-"

"If it wasn't then I wouldn't have kept my life on line to save you." She did not know from where did this much courage stemmed from but Rue felt like she was going to lose herself thus she had no time to hesitate.

"Tonight is the night you must escape to the capital. My father- Mikhail Villar has a club named Eclipse there, although it looks clean at first but from inside it is a secret base that only the members of Villar know about. You must go there anyhow and present this secret code to them.

Tell them everything and...if you meet Kharsan tell him that I have always love him, tell my parents that I am so sorry to disappoint them...you must survive no matter what...and..and please tell Kharsan to save me."
