TWO MONTHS LATER...

Aurora's mother was doing a little cleaning at the house that morning when Maya ran inside happily.

"Mother, I went to visit Sister Rora and the babies today. They talked to me, mother", Maya said jumping happily.

Her mother held her head which was starting to get hurt from Maya's incessant imaginary chatting with the twins in Aurora's stomach.

"Maya, I have told you several times to stop with these talks, didn't I?", Sarah warned her daughter.

"Sorry, mother", Maya replied looking sad.

"Pretty Angel, you can tell me all about the babies. Your mother is a bit tired, okay?", Alpha Jax said as he walked into the house.

"Handsome Uncle! Did you promise to always listen to me?", Maya asked with a big smile.

"Always, Pretty Angel…always", Alpha Jax promised as they did a pinky.

Alpha Jax looked up and smiled at Aurora's mother. The woman was cleaning the house again.

"Mother, I have told you that there are various servants in the house. Just call on them", Alpha Jax said.

Aurora's mother only smiled as she continued to work.

"Mother, I want to propose to Aurora and I need your help. I need you and Aunt Clara to escort her to my uncle's place. We would also be performing the acceptance ceremony for her too," Alpha Jax said looking down.

"Okay, son. What do you want me to do? I will willingly do it. But shouldn't it have been better after she gave birth? ", Aurora's mother said happily as she dropped her broom," when is the engagement?".

"Tonight. My Uncle wants to perform the welcoming ceremony for her. He had invited so many people. If I don't do it before Aurora gives birth, my child would never be an Alpha or Luna", Alpha Jax explained.

"Okay, son. I will bring her there", Aurora's mother said with a smile.

"Thanks mother and please don't let Maya tell her sister", Alpha Jax said as he left.

The mansion was beautifully lit with different colors of light and decorations. Uncle Max went all out for the welcoming ceremony. He also invited all the elders of the clan for the ceremony as the tradition demanded

He knew his nephew was planning to propose to the girl tonight. So, Uncle Max added lots of flavors of romance on the decorations. The welcoming ceremony would start immediately after the proposal.

Aurora was led by her family to the ancestral home. The women were looking at the beautiful decorations on the house exterior.

"Mother, this place is so beautiful! I want to live here", Maya said looking around the mansion.

"This girl is something else! ", Her mother couldn't be bothered talking to her.

"Maya sweetie, do you want to leave Sister Rora and the babies alone?", Aunt Clara asked her, raising her brow.

"Huh? No, I don't want to live here anymore. I will stay where Sister Rora stays", Maya replied as she smiled at her sister who ruffled her hair.

"You know you are so adorable, right?", Aurora told Maya as she pecked her cheeks.

Alpha Jax had already told Aurora's mother where to take her. So, she looked at Aunt Clara and both of them understood. She had already sent a message to Alpha Jax already.

"Aurora, I know you like cucumbers a lot. So Alpha Jax had prepared some in the garden behind the mansion and since they have not started yet, why don't we stroll there?", Aurora's mother said.

"Mother, really? Cucumbers? I am salivating already. Come on, let's go", Aurora said, swallowing hard.

Her mother laughed at her hungry look before leading her to the back of the mansion.

As Aurora drew closer to the back of the mansion, she heard a violin being played slowly. She moved closer and saw an exquisite romantic setting under the cashew tree. There were lots of cucumbers in a dish and…wines on the romantically arranged table.

She turned around to tell her mother something but she was surprised that there was no one behind her. She wondered when they left her.

Aurora turned around again to see the most beautiful sight she had ever dreamt about. Alpha Jax was kneeling with a ring in his hands and the most dashing smile ever.

She felt so emotional that she didn't know what to do. She moved slowly to her knight in shining armor. Aurora couldn't believe that this was the same man she had hated some months back. Now, she can't seem to live without him.

"I had never wished for a fairy tale Princess nor have I wished for the most powerful woman on earth but surprisingly, the moon goddess gave me both in one person. She gave me my mate. She gave my Aurora to me", Alpha Jax said, still kneeling.

Aurora's eyes were already filled with tears as she slowly walked up to Alpha Jax. She really loves this man so much but there is something she really wants to devour right now. Cucumbers.

"Though, we started on the wrong note but I guess it helped sharpen our hearts together. Miss Aurora Patterson, I wish to spend the rest of my life loving you only…seeing your face every day brings me new life", Alpha continued as Aurora got closer to him.

"Huh? Jax, can you please be fast with the proposal? I really want to eat those cucumbers right away", Aurora replied, her eyes glued to the cucumbers on the table.

Alpha Jax who already saw Aurora salivating bursted into a fit of laughter. She was just too cute.

"Really, Aurora? You prefer a cucumber to my proposal?", Alpha Jax asked in between laughter.

"Well, I just thought you could propose faster", Aurora said, flushed in embarrassment.

Alpha Jax shook his head as he said to her smiling," Miss Aurora Patterson, will you marry me?".

"Yes, I will. I love you Jax…"

"But obviously you love cucumbers more", Alpha Jax whispered meaningfully as he placed the ring in her fingers.

Pervert!

Aurora was so red on the face as Alpha Jax teased her. He was surely a pervert. She glared at him but when she saw the cucumbers in front of her, she forgot about her embarrassment and quickly grabbed it.

"Congratulations girl! Awwww! It's so romantic!", Celine's voice rang out as she stepped out of her hiding face, hand in hand with Beta Rufus.

Aurora was already munching hungrily on the cucumbers without care in the world. "Thank you" she muttered and continued feasting on her cucumber.

"Yeah. I thought proposals are meant to be a girl's biggest dream but why is this girl different? Just see how she is munching on the cucumber forgetting she had just been proposed to and was supposed to be screaming out her lungs" Mason said looking at his cousin.

"It's not her fault, Mason. She is pregnant", Myrene reprimanded Mason, hitting his shoulders lightly.

"I would never propose to a pregnant woman!", Mason said making Myrene roll her eyes.

"That should be if you can get a girl pregnant first, Mason", Alpha Jax cuts in protecting his mate.

"You see Mason. You can't bully me anymore", Aurora replied laughing.

A servant walked in to announce that it was time for the welcoming ceremony. Aurora reluctantly left the cucumbers. Seeing her hungered look, Jax took a piece and gave it to her. She grinned widely.

Mason who saw the interaction grumbled as he walked towards Myrene who was already walking away.

He wondered how the ever strict Alpha could become a sissy in front of his cousin. But deep down, he was so glad that his cousin found the right mate for herself.

His mind wandered to the stubborn girl by his side. He couldn't believe they were actually together?

He smiled widely and help her waist as they both walked into the ceremonial hall of the ancestral home.

Aurora's mother and Aunt were already waiting at the front of the door with little Maya. Alpha Jax had gone into the house as custom demanded. He was waiting for his bride.

The welcoming ceremony was more like a traditional way of welcoming a woman into the house of her beloved. It shows the family accepted her by showering her with gifts.

It was done by the elderly women on the groom's side. Since Alpha Jax was an only child, Myrene represented his sister while Maya represented Aurora's sister.

As Alpha Jax was the Alpha of the pack, the oldest woman in the Pack, Grandma Frenzer performed the ceremony by taking the silver platter containing the three coconuts and stood at the entrance. She collected the water from the coconut by cracking a small hole in it. The water was collected into a white pot used specially for the occasion.

The water was collected and the oldest woman in the pack washed the feet of the new bride. It was repeated three times with the coconuts.

After washing the feet with the three coconuts, Aurora stood at the entrance of the house and smashed the empty coconuts one by one on the ground.

Aurora turned to walk into the house as Myrene, who represented Alpha Jax's sister, covered her hair. This signified that she had been accepted by all the relatives as their daughter-in-law.

When Aurora entered the house she was made to sit beside the Alpha and the relatives came around to give the new couple gifts and their blessings.

The gifts kept pouring in one after the other. But the strange thing was the bride kept on munching on a cucumber all through the ceremony. No one dared stop her as Jax had warned them to leave her alone.

The older women couldn't help but smile knowing the reason why the new bride was behaving so strangely. They knew she was pregnant.

However the younger women who were obviously jealous couldn't help gossiping among themselves.

"Just look at how she eats like a pig. Couldn't she control herself? This is her welcoming party for crying out loud!", One of them exclaimed.

"I heard she is pregnant and the alpha pampers her so much. She is just taking the Alpha's kindness for a joke. She thinks the world revolves around her", another said spitefully.

"What are you girls murmuring about? Is it your world? I can see that you are all eaten up by jealousy", a meek girl amongst them countered them.

"And who do you think you are to butt into our conversation? Are you trying to curry favor from her?", The first girl threatened the girl who retreated under their intense gaze.

"And who do you think you are to speak ill of a Luna?", A voice countered them.

They turned to see Myrene looking at the girls with an overwhelming aura. The girls quickly cowered under her fierce gaze. No one wants to mess with the Beta's only sister. She was said to be really fierce.

"We…we are really sorry, Miss Myrene", they quickly apologized as they bowed repeatedly.

"Get lost from this party before I make you disappear. You are lucky I am in a good mood tonight or else…", Myrene scowled at them.

The girls quickly scrambled out of the way and disappeared out of the ceremony. No one wants to incur the anger of the Alpha or Beta. They were just lucky Myrene wasn't a vengeful person, though troublesome but still kind-hearted.

Alpha Jax who saw everything that happened from where he was seated secretly ordered the arrest of the women. No one has the right to insult his Luna, not even the members of his Pack. He would make sure to give Myrene a position close to his wife. She can watch her back when he is not around.

"Darling, do you want more cucumbers or you rather prefer the special one?", Alpha Jax whispered seductively in her ears.

"Huh? Special cucumber? Yeah, I think I want…", Aurora, who hadn't realized the meaning of Jax's words, immediately agreed.

"Alright, darling. I would give you at home tonight", he said with a smile.

Aurora quickly caught on his trick as she smacked his chest. This man was a certified pervert.

"Jax! You… I don't want any special cucumber", Aurora said as her face flushed red.

"Too late. You already agreed", Alpha Jax said still grinning.

Alpha Jax grinned as he looked at this glutton of a wife.

Sure, I will give you the special cucumber.

Cladded in a flowing wedding gown, if Aurora had been told she would be getting married to the dashing infamous Alpha Jax of the Blood Moon Pack and the hidden leader of the Blood Mafias, she would have sworn at the person

Their journey together was definitely not a rollercoaster. She hated him while he hated her disobedience. But slowly and surely, love crept in. He began to see the beauty in her stubbornness, slowly her hate turned into love.

Aurora's little sister, Maya, was the little bride. She would be going over to the Seer land immediately after the birth of the babies. Yes, babies. They didn't go for scanning but they believed the word of little Maya, the seer.

Smitten by Aurora's beauty, Alpha Jax stood rooted to the podium with a sheepish smile. He looked at the woman walking towards him in white. She was looking stunning in the white dress.

He was happy to have her only to himself. Those men ogling at her, should he just pluck out their eyes?

"Hey, Mister Alpha. Today is our wedding day. No bad thoughts. Why would you be thinking of plucking out their eyes?", Aurora mindlink him.

"Your beauty is meant for me alone. No man had the right to stare", Alpha Jax responded.

"Would you cut off all the men's eyes in the world?", Aurora asked.

"Nah! I would just lock you up in my room to prevent them from seeing you", Alpha Jax replied as he grinned at her.

"Pervert!", Aurora shot him a look.

"I am only your pervert", Alpha Jax said.

The priest cleared his throat to get the attention of the couple. They looked at the priest while Aurora began blushing.

Her baby bump was a little obvious. But, she looked radiant.

The priest started the ceremony and the couple listened attentively to him. The guests all listened too. Aurora's mother and Aunt Clara were wiping their tears.

Beta Rufus was the best man and his sister, Myrene, was Aurora's Chief bridesmaid. They were all looking gorgeous though none could outshine the couple of the day.

"Will you take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to hold…in sickness and in health…in wealth and in need…till death do you part?", The priest read the vows.

"Yes, I do", Alpha responded.

It took Jax a lot of self control to finish the vow before he held Aurora's face and planted a deep french kiss on it. The priest looked helpless. Nevertheless, his task has been done.

Uncle Max was the most happiest as he kept smiling and shaking everyone around. Alphas of various packs who were on good terms with the Blood Moon Pack were there to witness the wedding between an Alpha and a mixed breed werewolf.

They all believed that the curse would finally be broken totally. They were beyond happy as they drank and toast to the new couple.

"Craig!"Aurora shrieked when she saw her bosom friend coming hand in hand with a very handsome man. Yes, the man at the restaurant, the one that finally caught his heart.

She ran to hug him but being afraid of his life, Craig refused to accept her hug.

"Hey, Rora. I am not ready to be minced yet! Do you want your husband to kill me?", Craig said, staying far away from Aurora.

Aurora shot Jax a glare but he just shrugged his shoulders as if he did nothing. She shook her head before turning to Craig.

"I missed you, buddy! I thought you wouldn't come to my wedding, I would have come and drag you here myself", Aurora said giggling.

"I will never miss your big day for anything, Rora. I miss you, my friend", Craig said, a little emotional.

"And I miss you too, buddy", Aurora said as she forced Craig to hug her. "I see you caught the big fish, ate it and refused to let go" Aurora whispered into his ear.

"Jeez Rora!" Craig blushed.

Alpha Jax looked away with a smile. His little stubborn mate. Aurora Patterson.

I love you so much, sweetheart.

"I fucking hate you, Alpha Jax!", Aurora screamed her lungs out.

Four months later, Aurora was rushed to the labour room. She held Jax's hand tightly as she rained curses on him.

"You freaking motherfucker! I would never let you touch me again!

"Baby, it's really not entirely my fault. We…we enjoyed it together actually"

"Shut the fuck up, Jax! I dare you to touch me again!"

"Maybe…just a little sweetheart. I will just touch you a little"

"I said shut the fuck up!", Aurora screamed loudly that Alpha Jax almost got his eardrums removed.

Are all pregnant women like this? He wondered. Jax promised never to have other children again. The experience was too horrifying.

Aurora was wheeled into the labour room while Jax began pacing around the corridor. Soon his Beta and his wife, Celine, including Aurora's mother, aunt, Mason, Myrene and Maya came rushing into the hospital.

They met an anxious Jax in the corridor. Celine who was already six months pregnant sat on the couch to rest as she was waiting anxiously too.

Aurora's mother, who already had two children, couldn't help being anxious too. Maybe, that's just the feeling associated with labor.

They were all anxious except for little Maya who was happily waiting for the babies.

"Mother, the babies will soon be here. Don't be anxious", Maya advised like an adult.

"Maya…", Aurora's mother wanted to scold her but Alpha Jax shook his head.

"Handsome Uncle, are you afraid? My nephew and niece are already here", Maya said to Alpha Jax.

"Do you want to know the truth? Of course I am afraid but I believe in your word, Maya", Alpha Jax said rubbing her hair.

Somehow this girl has a way of calming his heart.

The doctor's step was heard and everyone crowded him to hear the good news.

"Handsome Uncle, I have already told you. My nephew and niece are here already. What else do you want to hear?", Maya said looking at them as she shook her head.

The doctor looked at the little girl closely again. How did the girl know Luna just had a boy and a girl? Is she a seer? Aurora's mother coughed to distract the doctor's attention on Maya.

With the look on the doctor's face, everyone knew Maya was right.

"How is my wife doctor?", Alpha Jax asked.

"Your wife and kids are doing great. But I wonder…", the doctor said.

Alpha Jax didn't wait to hear anything more. He ran towards the labour room to meet his wife and…those brats.

"Tell me, Miss Aurora Patterson. How did we meet again?", Alpha Jax whispered seductively as they lay on the bed cuddling.

"At Mason's birthday party?", Aurora responded.

"Not the second time. Our first meeting, Miss Aurora Patterson", Alpha Jax continued drawing closer to her as he wrapped his arms around her waist, snugging into her neck to sniff the place he marked her.

"I stole your wallet??", She asked seductively.

"Not just my wallet, darling. You stole every bit of my heart", Alpha Jax said, kissing her.

Then he added," Do you know the punishment of stealing from an Alpha?".

"No, Alpha Jax…", Aurora responded.

"Tsk tsk tsk… you will be sentenced to loving me all your life, Miss Aurora Patterson", Alpha Jax said.

"Gladly, Alpha Jax … your punishment is willingly accepted by me"

"Good girl. Now, where did we stop again…", Alpha Jax said, running his hands all over her body.

"I…we….", Aurora was so heated up that she couldn't respond.

But just then, the shrill crying of the twins echoed in their bedroom.

"Arrrrrrrgh! These kids wouldn't let me enjoy my wife!", Alpha Jax complained bitterly as he walked towards the two rascals who obviously knew what their parents wanted to do.

Aurora looked at the handsome face she had grown accustomed to love everyday. Once she wanted him dead but now she needs him alive for their family.

Yes, for their cute little family.

And guess what? She was glad she stole his heart…and wallet of course.
