Adrene saw those defiant eyes but there was something lacking there. She couldn't pinpoint it as she immediately shoved the thought aside.

Adrene was filled with hatred and jealousy towards the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack as she stared at the happy family.

She was supposed to be by Jack's side as his Luna. But he betrayed her for that woman and now they even have a son while she lost her son. How could she allow them to be happy.

Adrene took a deep breath to control her emotions and then she brought out her phone to text Jack.

I am sorry Jack. I was foolish, please forgive me. I am dying and I need to see you one last time before I die. Can you fulfill my wish? I am behind the huge tree some distance away from the Mushroom Field. You have a lovely family. I am waiting!

Adrene smiled as she sent the message. She knew Jack was anything but heartless. She knew he would surely come for her being her last wish.

Adrene heard her phone message tone two minutes later. She smiled when she saw Jack's reply. She sent a message to Alpha Graham to be ready to strike anytime.

Adrene stared at the family again. Why does the woman give a different aura compared to the last time she saw her? Adrene looked carefully at the woman again. She does look like a woman in appearance but her disposition looks different.

Adrene began feeling uncomfortable. She really doesn't know what the matter is but her instincts were telling her to leave the place immediately. And…she doesn't joke with her instincts. It was always right. Could it be wrong this time?

She took one last look at the lady before finally coming to a conclusion.

Jack, who had been anxious for the past four days, looked a little relaxed. According to his sources, Graham had joined sources with Adrene to kill his family. He was so angry that he wished he could just strangle that woman.

Actually, it wasn't that he didn't feel guilty whenever he thought about Adrene but he expected her to understand how the system works. Besides he never promised her a lifetime together…she assumed it.

There was no way he would leave his mate to settle for her. That was something impossible.

Adrene was also a werewolf so she was supposed to understand how the mate stuff works. He guessed she had fallen too deeply in love with him or she was blinded by lust and material things that she doesn't think anymore.

Though he still can't believe, Adrene would join forces with his enemy.

Jack heard the beeping sound of his message tone and took a glance at it. His sources were right. Adrene was indeed a traitor.

Oh Adrene! How could you fall into Graham's trap and become a traitor? You leave me with no choice!

Alpha Jack had since been looking for ways to capture Graham and so he leaked his intended picnic with "his family". He hoped the Triad Circle would react so he could defeat them but what he never expected was that Adrene would be included in the fight. He brought out his phone and replied to her.

Wait for me. I will be there in five minutes.

Alpha Jack looked at the woman and child squatting on the floor. These people weren't his family. He made them up for this purpose. The woman works as a maid in the welfare center and the child with her was an orphan at the welfare too. He knew it was dangerous but he had already placed his invisible guards around the vicinity.

The guards are only known to him. They would be responsible for the woman and child's safety. They would capture Graham once he came. He knew Graham would surely come. He had been so blinded by defeating Jack that he no longer analyzes situations.

Jack walked up to the woman and pretended to kiss her forehead. He then turned around and left swiftly to meet Adrene. He wished they had not come to this point, he doesn't want to kill Adrene.

Jack was slowly approaching the tree but there was no one there. He had already smelt her but her scent was weak. It means she indeed had been here. She had escaped. He knew Adrene was a smart woman. She must have noticed that the woman wasn't his wife but how?

He decided to follow her scent to capture her. But, it seems she hid herself very well. After searching for more than two hours he turned around and left. His men had already captured Graham. Atleast, he didn't lose… he got the person he wants.

Alpha Jack promised to hunt down Adrene for treason. He had to put an end to her stupidity.

Adrene ran to her apartment to pick up important documents and files she might need on her journey. She had to leave this place as soon as possible. She had to look for a stronger alliance to bring Jack down. She knew Alpha Graham must have been captured and he might have ratted her out.

If Jack ever sees her she would be treated as a traitor. She had to leave the human world. She needs a powerful ally to help her bring down Alpha Jack.

She would take revenge on Jack and his family. She would make sure to wipe them off this earth even if it's the last thing she would do.

Adrene promised to be back for Jack.

Adrene made an alliance with a powerful Pack who were always waging war with Jack. Though she tried all she could, it seems Jack was impenetrable.

Then after so many years, Jack was finally killed. Though she rejoiced at his death, she wasn't satisfied. She needs to bring down his whole family.

That's why she targeted Alpha Jax, his son with that woman. Her hunger for revenge would only quench if she could bring down Jax.

And Jax has one weakness… Aurora…his mate who was pregnant with his child.

Don't blame me, Jax. Blame your father, he caused it.

Enrique stared at the woman whose eyes had turned red due to anger. He knew the woman had a story to tell but she always kept that part of her life a secret. All he knew was that the former Alpha caused the death of her son and she had come for revenge.

He wondered what Alpha Jack had done to her to make her a hateful woman. Most times that he wanted to dissuade her from going for revenge, she always shut him up with the fact that he owed her his life. Funny enough, it was true.

Actually, she wasn't his Aunt but he decided to make her his Aunt so she can get access to living in this Pack.

Enrique owes her his life five years back when he went on a secret mission to scout news from their enemy Pack. As at then Jax was the new Alpha and he was eager to eradicate their enemy packs around them. He wanted to establish peace amongst the packs within his territory.

Enrique had just been made his Gamma and he was excited to prove his worth. He scoured many of the neighboring packs without being detected until he came to the Crescent Moon Pack. They were one of the most dangerous Pack around. They had been a thorn in the flesh of Alpha Jack before his death.

Rumors had it that they were the ones that assassinated Alpha Jack and his Luna but no evidence to back it up. Though Jax was still working on it.

Enrique had been in hiding observing them for three days before he was caught by their guards. On his way to the Alpha's trial room, he met a gorgeous woman sitting amongst the guard. She had the most tempting body though she looked older. She must have been a temptress while young.

The woman kept staring at him. Somehow, he seemed to notice her eyes glistening. He knew he had never met her before so he was surprised at her reaction. Enrique was brought out of his thoughts when the guards pressed him down roughly.

From the corner of his eyes, he noticed the woman still staring at him but this time she had stood up from where she was sitting down.

"Well, what have we here? You must be Enrique, right?", She asked with a smile.

"I don't know what you are talking about", Enrique denied.

"You really aren't Enrique, the Gamma to Alpha Jax?," She continued saying.

Enrique remained silent as he wondered what the woman was up to. He had already accepted his fate. These people were definitely going to kill him.

Then the woman walked up to him as she bent down to whisper something into his ears.

"I knew you wouldn't agree. Anyways, it's not really my business. I might have been mistaken because I thought you were Enrique. I would have saved you", the woman whispered into his eyes.

The woman then turned to the guards that held Enrique," You can take him away, you don't need to bother the Alpha over trivial issues like this since he is a nobody. Just snap his neck off or better still, throw him to the crocodiles."

The guards nodded as they raised Enrique up roughly. Enrique was torn between two dead ends. If he agrees that he was truly Enrique, there might be a glimmer of hope for survival. He might also be killed too. But if he denies it totally, he would either have his neck torn off his body or he would be fed to the crocodiles. Well, he prefers to take the glimmer of hope so he can stay alive.

"I am Enrique. I am Alpha Jax's Gamma", Enrique suddenly said.

"Good boy," she smirked.

Before Enrique could say anything more, the woman walked up to him and forced a drink down his throat. It tasted sweet yet bitter. He wondered what she just gave him.

"What the hell did you put in my mouth?", Enrique yelled but one of the guards landed a slap on his face. His lips began bleeding.

"Shut your mouth! You should be grateful you weren't killed", the guard said in annoyance.

"Don't worry, you won't die…but it depends," the woman said with a chuckle.

Then she said to the guards," You can leave him to me. I will take him to the alpha myself", she said as she smiled at him."

The guards were reluctant to let go without the permission of the alpha but they also know the influence of this woman on their Alpha.

She glared at the guards who quickly let go of Enrique. They would rather stay on the good side of this woman or else things won't end well with them.

Enrique was surprised at the influence of the woman in the pack but he knew very well that the alpha of Crescent Moon doesn't have a Luna. Could she be the rumoured mistress?

Enrique had heard the story of the mysterious mistress of the Alpha of Crescent Moon Pack. She was rumoured to be fearsome and…extremely sexy. She had captured many Alphas under her seductive body which had made the Crescent Moon Pack to have more power and territories.

The rumors must be true, Enrique thought as he followed the woman sheepishly.

Enrique and the mysterious woman arrived at a gigantic mansion some few minutes drive away from where he was captured. He followed the woman into the mansion. It seems the woman was confident he wouldn't escape because she seemed nonchalant around him.

Actually, it wasn't that she was nonchalant but this is one of the most formidable packs alongside the Blood Moon Pack. They have several invisible guards lurking at every nook and cranny. Any attempt to escape from him will lead to his early death.

"Adrene darling, are you tired of me already? Who is that young man by your side?," A croaky voice cut through Enrique's thought.

"Albert, you are so funny. He is my son's age. Besides, I am not into boy toys. I like my men strong and experienced", the woman named Adrene said as she went towards the man sitting on the couch.

She cupped his face in her hands and kissed his lips. The man responded by grasping her butt tightly, squeezing it. The woman let out a sexy moan which made Enrique almost lose his sense of reasoning. This woman was damn hot and sexy.

"You don't want our guest to start fantasizing about you, do you? Trust me, darling. I will kill him," Albert said in-between the kisses.

Adrene chuckled at the man's possessive words but experience had taught her that these men only want her body and she had learnt to control them with that same body.

"You don't need to kill him. I need him for my mission, Albert. This is the Gamma to the Blood Moon Pack, Enrique. He is amongst one of the trusted men of Alpha Jax", Adrene replied still clinging to the man who can't stop caressing her bosom.

"I thought you had forgotten about it. You still want your revenge? Alpha Jack is dead," he said, raising a brow.

"Yes, but his son is alive. He left me with no one so I want to leave him with no one too," she replied with hate.

"What are your plans?," Albert asked.

"I will go back with him to the pack as his aunt. I need to be close to the enemy to defeat him," she replied.

"Are you sure you have made up your mind?", Albert asked.

"Yes, I have. The heavens must be by my side, that's why he sent me this boy," she replied looking at Enrique.

"What if he betrays you?," Albert asked.

"Not when his life is in my hands. I fed him the lotus drink. Only I have the antidote. I will only give him the antidote after my mission becomes successful. If he dares betray me, he would die", she replied looking at the confused Enrique.

"Okay but I won't let you go entirely. You must report to me from time to time", Albert said meaningfully.

Adrene smiled as she pounced on him once more. She dipped her hand into his shorts as she began to work on him. Enrique looked away with a red face. This woman was so shameless.

Alpha Albert looked at Enrique with a smirk as he signals one of the guards to take Enrique away. He had become too horny to control himself. Loud moans were heard all over the mansion as the man and woman tangled each other shamelessly. The people in the mansion were used to it already as each person went on their own business.

That was how Enrique was saved but he had to betray his Pack to stay alive. Sometimes, he regretted ever making a deal with this woman but…he also doesn't want to die.

He can't eat his cake and have it, right? He wished he could help Alpha Jax.
