CHAPTER 52
It's been one week since Beta Rufus finally got Celine back but since she woke up, she had never spoken to him. No matter how much he talked to her, she refused to answer. He didn't give up. He kept on talking to her hoping that she would one day answer him.
At first he had been very worried and he had to speak to the doctor who explained to him the cause of her silence after a series of tests.
"The patient has a case of Alogia. It is caused mostly by severe depression, in her case. There might be various causes but according to her case, it was caused by depression", the doctor explained.
"Alogia? Is it schizophrenic?", Beta Rufus asked. The doctor was surprised he knew about it nevertheless he explained further.
"Alogia can be a symptom of various conditions, but it is most commonly associated with schizophrenia and is considered a negative symptom. It takes away the ability to do something. Alogia can also be a secondary effect, resulting from primary symptoms such as psychosis or anxiety"
"In most cases the person might choose not to speak, because there are voices in his or her head threatening them if they do", the doctor said.
"It's just like when you might not speak due to feeling paranoid around people who makes you nervous, right?", Beta Rufus asked.
"Yes. May I ask if you are a medical personnel?", The doctor asked, unable to keep his curiosity.
"No but I had someone who had a similar condition. I had to read about it to understand her better. Though my friend's case is quite different from hers", Beta Rufus explained.
"Yes, there are different symptoms and not all are Alogia", the doctor nodded.
"So what do I do?", Beta Rufus asked.
"Well, it depends on the patient's symptoms. In this case, she is depressed so she decided to shut herself from those that made her anxious. She doesn't wish to speak to those people. So I suggest you make her feel happy and trust around people. It would have been better if you knew the cause of her depression. You can then tackle it from there", the doctor advised.
"Okay, doctor. Thank you very much", Beta Rufus said.
Since the doctor explained to him, he decided to try his best to make her happy. He studied her every expression so as to understand her better.
"Celine, we will be going back to our Pack tomorrow. You know it's not safe for me to stay too long outside our Pack. Am not afraid of my safety but yours. I don't wish anything to happen to you", he said, feeding her some ginger soup.
At the mention of going back to the pack, she stiffened and a tear fell from her eyes. Beta Rufus quickly added.
"Hey, I have told you several times that the alpha had nothing against you. In fact he specifically spared your life. He knew you were not in cohorts with your father and sister. I had wanted to tell you all these if you hadn't run away"
"I know you are hurting at the loss of your family but I promise to do my best. I might not be like your father or mother but I promise never to hurt you. Just give me a chance, please", Beta Rufus said as he stared at those silver eyes. He swore he could drown in those eyes.
Celine looked at him for a few seconds before nodding her head.
"Are you willing to give us a chance? As mates?", Beta Rufus didn't want to assume so he directly asked to be sure.
She nodded again.
He was so excited that he dropped the bowl of soup and embraced her tightly. At last, his patience had paid off.
She finally agreed to be his.
Beta Rufus couldn't wait to go back home tomorrow. Alpha Jax must be very worried about him.

Alpha Jax who had been so busy in his study since morning. He wanted to rest but before he got ready to go to his room to rest, he received another call from the commander of his secret troops. They are ready to go and check on those creatures.
They were supposed to be led by Gamma Enrique but unfortunately his mate is very sick. She is a lab professor at Alpha Jax medical research center. She must have come across some harmful gas.
Alpha Jax had no choice but to lead the troops himself. Apart from himself he could only trust Gamma Enrique or Beta Rufus' accurate judgement on those creatures. Beta Rufus is not yet back and they can't delay it.
He decided to go there by himself. He believes by the time he would be back, his Beta would be home with his mate.
He sighed as he dropped the call. He decided to cancel all his appointments and engagements for the next three days till he would be back.
Alpha Jax really missed Aurora. He decided to go and check on her. He would spend his little time with her before he would go to their troop camp. He can't wait to hold her in his arms till he falls asleep. He was really tired.
He walked briskly to their room and saw her sleeping peacefully. He didn't have the heart to wake her up so he went straight to the shower. He thought Aurora would be awake before he would finish his shower but it seems she was really tired.
Alpha Jax had noticed Aurora sleeps more often for the past one week. Even her eating habits have changed drastically. He was happy she was becoming plumper.
But he was still surprised at her strange behavior in the study yesterday. He wondered if there is something she needs to tell him about the study. Has she entered there before? Did she see anything disturbing?
Alpha Jax kept many of his confidential files in a safe in the study but due to his tight schedule these past two months, he had left his files scattered all around.
He made a mental note to arrange his files once he came back but first he would lock up the study room.
He quietly entered the bed and held Aurora so he could inhale her scent. He needs to relax his mind. But he really underestimated her sexual attraction.
Alpha Jax noticed a bulge slowly appearing in his pajamas. He thought he could just sleep with her in his arms tonight but his junior had another plan entirely.
His hands slipped into her nightgown as he cupped her breast. It was fuller and softer. He squeezed it gently as she let out a moan in her sleep. He smirked as his left hand traveled down below tingling her folds in a circular form.
Aurora's eyes were still closed but her body was already responding to his touch. He gently turned her to face him as he covered her mouth with a deep kiss.
Aurora was finally awake but she was already responding to his kiss. She even grabbed his face and deepened the kiss. Her body was moving to his touches. She moaned as his hands worked magic on her body.
Not wanting to be left out, Aurora pushed him, laying him on his back. She used her tongue to travel from his chest trailing it down to his navel before finally ending at his shaft. Craig had explained many of his escapades to her.
She decided to practice with one of them. She took a deep breath as she lowered her mouth on his shaft. Alpha Jax let out a deep gasp. He was surprised at her move. She had never initiated this kind of sex before. He must be really lucky today.
He grabbed her hair as he directed her on what to do when he noticed she was just an amateur. He decided to teach her everything. He was glad he was her first in everything.
Alpha Jax couldn't help but moan loudly. It felt so blissful. He took over from her as he started caressing her body all over. When he saw she was already wet, he plunged into her and began to thrust gently and slowly. He wanted to make this night memorable so it can accompany him for the three days he would be away from her.
Aurora's muffled moan was like an aphrodisiac to him as he began to climax. He waited for Aurora to reach her orgasm before he finally released everything into her.
He was still energetic but he saw Aurora was already tired and sleepy. He picked her and carried her to the bathroom to wash her up. She was already fast asleep when he finished washing her up.
Alpha Jax placed her gently on the bed and kissed her forehead. He knew that he would be leaving very early in the morning. He would make sure to come sooner.
Because he was already missing her badly.
