Jasmine knew she had no way to defend herself so she just slumped to the ground and tried to hold Alpha Jax's legs to beg for her life.

"I … I really didn't mean to. I was very angry when you left me for her. Please pardon me, for all the years we have been together", Jasmine started begging.

"Let go of my leg", Alpha commanded.

"Please spare my life. She didn't die. She's still alive. Please, it was a mistake", she continued begging.

"Maybe I had been too lenient on you and your family, Miss Jasmine Davis. For trying to kill my mate, it means you are attempting to kill me too. She is my other half. My other soul. Killing her is the same as killing my soul", Alpha Jax said.

Then he turned to Beta Rufus", I want you to take her to one of the cells and lock her up in silver. I want her to feel the pain she caused my mate".

"Roger that, Alpha", Beta Rufus said.

Alpha Jax left not taking a single glance at Jasmine who was still pleading and crying profusely.

Beta Rufus tried to raise Jasmine up but she ended up scratching his arms. Beta Rufus was so angry that he slapped her face.

"I will definitely find her and kill her. That slut took my man away from me", Jasmine screamed as Beta Rufus dragged her out through the back door.

Beta Rufus handed her to some guards dressed in uniform. They bundled her in a van that was well protected.

"Do as I instructed you. That's the order of the alpha", he said.

"Yes, Beta", they answered before getting into the van. Soon Jasmine's cries became distant.

Beta Rufus breathes a sigh of relief before going back into the house.

When Beta Rufus got to the sitting room, Alpha Jax was pouring himself a glass of wine with a tired look.

"Did you know since I became the Alpha after my father's death, these few hours have been the busiest and trying times. I can't count the number of times I grew angry", he said, pouring another one for his Beta.

"You need to speak to her. You need to make her understand you. She needs to understand what you want and need from her", Beta Rufus advised.

"You don't seem to know that girl. She refuses to know anything. She doesn't want to know me. She wants to leave me. I haven't come across a woman so stubborn. Why can't she just listen to me?", Alpha Jax queried.

"Talk to her, Alpha, have a heart to heart talk with her. Pour out all your emotions into words and I bet she would understand", Beta Rufus advised

"You know i'm not cut out for that stuff", Alpha Jax waved the idea away. Heart to heart! Tsk!!!

The Butler walked into the sitting room with a bow.

"Alpha, Beta… Mrs Clara and Mrs Patterson are seeking permission to see you", he said.

"Who are those persons?", Alpha Jax asked with a frown.

"Your mother-in-law and aunt-in-law ", Beta Rufus replied with a chuckle", They must be worried about Aurora. Remember, you kidnapped her".

"Shut up, Rufus", Alpha Jax glared at him ", Let them in, James".

Alpha Jax was in deep thought as he wondered why these women decided to visit him. Anyways, he got ready to meet them.

He has to talk to Aurora, maybe what Rufus said would work afterall. He doesn't want her to reject him, there's something in her he wants to hold tight to, he doesn't know what it was but the thought of her leaving him frightens his heart.

"Rufus, take care of the guest. I need to speak to Aurora", Alpha Jax said.

Alpha Jax walked briskly to his room. He met Aurora just coming from the bathroom. Her body was so alluring as the water glistened on her skin.

He stood transfixed for a few seconds before Aurora's scream woke him up from his stupor.

"What the heck! Can't you knock before entering?", She yelled holding tight to her towel.

"Why should I knock in my own bedroom?", Alpha Jax asked flatly but his eyes still linger on her body. The towel was so short that it barely covered her butt. She has a very alluring huge butt that makes him want to spank them.

She saw him still staring at her. She already knew the perverted thoughts in his head. He was obviously trying to get in her pants!

She quickly took her clothes she wanted to put on and rushed into the bathroom again. What a pervert!

After a few minutes, Aurora came out well dressed. She cast a smug look at Jax who chuckled to himself.

"Your mother and Aunt are here to visit you", he suddenly said.

Aurora thought she heard him wrongly as he asked him to repeat what he just said.

"I said your mom and Aunt are here to see you"

Aurora was so happy that she wanted to rush out but he suddenly stopped her.

"Why are you stopping me?", She asked impatiently.

"We need to talk. Sit down", Alpha Jax held her down.

"What is it?", Aurora asked in obvious irritation.

"I hope you remember what we discussed this morning. Remember?", Alpha Jax asked meaningfully.

"Wait… are you threatening me?", Aurora asked, obviously getting angry.

"I am just reminding you. Your friend and family's lives are in your hands. And remember, let's keep today's matter a secret. I have already punished Jasmine", Alpha Jax said calmly.

"I understand what I must do or not do. Don't worry, I always keep to my promise", Aurora said.

"Good. Let's go now. Your mother is waiting", Alpha Jax said as he led her out of the room. He didn't do what Rufus asked him to, he couldn't bring himself to lower his ego.

"Jasmine…. What did you do to her? Is she dead?", Aurora asked after a while.

"No, Do you want her to die?", Alpha Jax asked back, raising a brow.

"Just know that I hate her so much", Aurora said before walking away from him.

Alpha smiled as he saw her walking away in anger", What a wild cat".

The two women sat down waiting patiently and quietly except that Aurora's mother was looking very nervous and scared. She hoped her daughter was fine. After waiting for more than thirty minutes she seems not to see her daughter.

She was about to ask Beta Rufus again about her daughter when she saw a glimpse of her walking towards her.

"Mother!", Aurora screamed her mother's name as she ran to embrace her.

Her mother was so happy that she stood up immediately to embrace her daughter too. She kissed her severally on her cheek as tears streamed down her eyes.

"My darling Rora, I miss you so much. Mother misses you so much", she wept as she turned to look at her. She turned her daughter around to see if there were any injuries but there was none. Maya's dream has always been accurate. What actually happened?

"Mother, She is barely gone for a day yet you miss her this much?", A powerful voice said.

Aurora's mother turned to see the person. It was Alpha Jax. She released her daughter and bowed to the Alpha. She then turns to stare at him, anger evident in her face.

Aurora's mother was a petite woman with large eyes and a face one can never forget in a hurry. She's a very soft spoken person who hates to be oppressed.

Actually, she had wanted to flare up since she discovered her daughter was missing but she had to give face to the Alpha…and her sister in-law. But she had reached her limit.

"Alpha. I Am sorry for barging in like this but I really want to see my daughter. Considering how she left yesterday at the party", Aurora's mother said with a hint of accusation.

Though she was paying her respect to this Young Man, it didn't cancel the fact that he indeed kidnapped her daughter yesterday in the presence of everyone.

Aurora's mother had wanted to tell him a piece of her mind since the moment he left with her daughter. Now, she just couldn't keep her emotions bottled up.

"I am here to take back my daughter. I don't care if she is your mate or not. And I especially don't give a damn if you are the Alpha of this Pack. As a leader, aren't you supposed to take the proper path instead of abducting someone's child? I want my daughter back and she is going back with me", Aurora's mother spat out in anger.

Clara who was sitting beside her tried to make her stop but Alpha Jax signaled her to leave her.

Alpha Jax smiled to the surprise of everyone. He now knew where his mate got her sharp tongue and fearless attitude from.

"Mother, your anger is justified and I am very sorry for what I did. I want nothing more than your blessings", Alpha Jax responded calmly in an apologetic tone.

Aurora's mother was surprised by Alpha Jax's humble attitude. He even called her mother? Wasn't he known as an evil Alpha? People call him the god of death. Why is it so much different from what people say?

Aurora knew what this jerk was trying to do. He can never fool her. He was trying to buy her mother's mind. She had no choice but to play along with him. She knew behind those smiles, is the very devil.

Sarah turned to look at her daughter who looked at her pleadingly. She sighed before turning to Alpha Jax.

"What happened to my daughter this morning?", Aurora's mother suddenly asked.

Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she wondered if her mother knew what happened this morning.

But how come? She even wore a jean to cover her bandaged leg so she couldn't see it so how did she know something happened to her?

Could it be she overheard it from the servants or... She couldn't tell. Her eyes darted to her aunt Clara who equally looked surprised.
