The servants carried the injured Aurora back into the mansion while Jasmine was carried straight to somewhere safe awaiting the arrival of the alpha. Her head was creased together. The pain was unbearable. It's as if her skin is being eaten up by something acidic.

It's indeed like an acid. That's how silver is to a werewolf. It eats up wherever it touches. It would be difficult to heal quickly if there's still a residual of silver in the place it touches.

Aurora was sweating profusely as she bit hard on her lips to the point of bleeding. She regretted going out this morning. She only wanted to see her family. She missed them so much. She wondered how things suddenly turned upside down in just one night.

But nothing hurts more than the reason she is suffering. She was suffering so much because of a mate who couldn't keep himself from women. She never asked the moon goddess for a mate. She never accepted her fate and now that she did, she is at the verge of death.

Aurora was thinking what would happen to her mother and little sister if anything happens to her. Her mother would die of frustration and depression. She doesn't even want to think about how her sister would suffer so much.

No, she can't die. She wonders why the pain is affecting her whole body. It's like she is on fire. Is she really going to die in the hands of her mate's lover? Never, Aurora shook her head fiercely.

Once she gets better, she will definitely give whatever pain she is passing through to Jasmine in a hundred fold. She would watch as she got mercy. That wench would die a slow death, Aurora promised in her heart.

She wonders how many more women would come for her. She believes that if Alpha Jax hadn't given Jasmine access to his residence she cannot linger within a perimeter without being spotted.

"Am I going to die, already?"She managed to say as the pain became increasingly painful.

"Ma'am, the physician will be here soon. Do you need a glass of water?", Gilly asked as she wiped Aurora's face with a thick towel.

"I need a physician not a fucking cup of water. Get me a doctor! I am dying here!", Aurora shouted at the top of her lungs.

The servants were confused on what to do. They had no idea of how to treat a person. They could only watch as she cursed loudly.

She hated her mate so much for causing her all this suffering. She never asked for a mate yet the moon goddess decided to give her the one that can't keep his pants in one place.

"Alpha Jax….I hate you so much!", She said with clenched teeth. The pain was intensifying as the silver started to spread.

"Where is the fucking physician!!!", A voice suddenly roared shocking everyone including Aurora herself.

"Al…pha.. I have sent for him already. He will be here very soon", Butler James stuttered.

As soon as Aurora saw him, the hatred in her heart intensified. She glared at him hatefully. If only the servants weren't around, she would have cursed him already.

"Darling, I am here. Don't worry, you will be alright", Alpha Jax said in a worried but loving tone.

Aurora looked at him with a smirk. Darling? Really? He must be dreaming if he thinks she will forgive him that easily. She turned her face away from him.

Soon hurrying footsteps were heard coming towards them. An old man probably in his early nineties but still agile came towards them accompanied by a young woman who should be in her mid thirties.

The old physician bowed to the alpha and his Beta before swiftly moving to the young woman who was writhing in pain.

He quickly went down to business as he cleaned the injury with a cleanser used by werewolf physicians to clean injuries caused by silver. It minimizes the spread of the silver. Aurora was lucky it only grazed her skin. She was only feeling the pains because the Silver had already touched her skin.

He administered other things before giving her two shots of injection on her vein. Actually, he had to give his assistant when he saw the look of anger on the face of the Young Alpha.

He understood right away that the alpha must be jealous. The physician smiled softly to himself. Young lovers are indeed hard to predict. The late Alpha was also extremely jealous. He wouldn't allow any male an inch close to his Luna.

After his assistant administered the injection, he wrapped the place with a light bandage. Then he turned to the alpha to instruct him on how to care for the injury.

Alpha Jax thanked him before signaling the Butler to see the physician out. His piercing gaze focused on all the servants in the room.

"Before you all receive your punishment, I want to know exactly what happened after I left this morning in less than thirty minutes", Alpha Jax said with a hint of warning.

He then dismissed every irrelevant people including his Beta.

"Find out every little detail of what happened this morning. Am giving you thirty minutes, Rufus", he mindlink his beta.

"Roger that, Alpha. I will surely investigate now", Beta Rufus assured.

"And…bring qualified and well trained guards stationed at every corner of my house now. I don't want whatever happened today to repeat itself", he said.

He hated having guards all over his mansion because he rarely stays here and his family does not stay here either. His Uncle, Max, has his own mansion. So he had little security made but now, he was having the thought of protecting this place.

If only he had security, this incident might have been avoided. Alpha Jax closed the room door and turned to Aurora. There was a crisp sound of a slap.

The room became extremely silent and…hot, with anger.

"How dare you!", Alpha Jax was shaking in anger at the slap Aurora gave to him.

He had to resist punishing her because she was hurt. This wild cat is getting wilder and braver.

"I will dare it again and again and again until you reject me as your mate!", Aurora screamed at him. Who does he think he is?

"What did you say?", Alpha Jax was so furious that he turned around and hit the wall behind him. His hand began to bleed but healed up within a few seconds but the pain remained. The pain in his hands and…heart.

"Go on. Hit the wall or rather hit me. I hate you so much, Alpha Jax! I was almost killed by your lover Jasmine…I hate you!", Aurora spat out again this time with heated jealousy.

Alpha Jax moved closer to her and held her neck. He growled loudly as his eyes turned fiery red. He was so angry at her words. Did she think she could have another man? She must be dreaming.

"No one. I mean no one has the right to touch you, feel you or mate with you. Always remember, YOU ARE MINE!", Alpha Jax said as his anger began to intensify.

"You are going to kill our mate!", His wolf pleaded.

"She wants to reject us!"

"Then don't let her…find a way to keep her. Stop hurting her because you are only hurting yourself"

His heart suddenly felt pained. He could feel her pains, her whimpering…and her hurt. He growled loudly and dropped her on the bed. He didn't want to threaten her but he had to change his mind or else this girl is either going to reject him or run away. He can't afford to lose his mate…ever.

Aurora dropped to the bed and started gasping for breath. Soon tears started streaming down her cheek. She tried to fight back the tears all to no avail.

"Stop saying those hurtful things to our mate. You are hurting him, Rora", Aliya cautioned.

"I don't care about him Aliya. Don't I have a heart too? Am I not allowed to express my pain? It's all his fault!"

"How can it be his fault? He has no clue about what happened today. Just talk to him", Aliya persisted.

"Shut up Aliya and get lost", Aurora said as she shut her wolf out.

Aurora cast a hateful glance towards Alpha Jax. She never wanted to acknowledge her identity and now that she did…

Alpha Jax ignored her look, walked up to her and lifted her on his broad shoulders. He left the room in a fit of anger. Aurora wanted to fight back but she suddenly remembered how he smacked her last night she protested. She kept quiet as he carried her. Alpha Jax noticed her submission and he smiled inside.

Aurora didn't want to cry but she couldn't stop the tears from gushing out. She felt like a slave.

"Let's go visit a very good friend of yours whom you will be very happy to meet. I hope he changes your mind, darling", Alpha Jax said as he continued walking. He felt like smacking her but she was already obedient.

Alpha Jax was so furious as he walked briskly towards where Beta Rufus was. He whispered something into his ears before collecting the sports car. His mind was in a mess as he thought about her words just now.

Did Jasmine really hurt Aurora? No wonder she said those hurtful things. How dare that girl hurt his mate. She must be tired of living. He would teach her a lesson she would never forget.

But, he doesn't know anything about it. Why would Aurora always blame him for whatever that happened. She had even resorted to threats. He had to stop this wild cat from ever threatening him ever again.

He threw her gently into the back seat of his sports car and drove off leaving a surprised Rufus behind.

He needs Aurora to choose.

You are mine, Aurora. No one else and I will make sure you stay.
