Chapter 33: Chapter 33
Jasmine left the cabin in shame and fear. She never thought the Alpha would kick her out or even strangle her. She was his favorite and he always favored her above all the other girls.
Everything she had done was always what she did every time. It was still the same tactics she always used on him. She wondered what she did wrong?
As she passed through the main bar, she had totally forgotten she had just her bra and panties on until a girl pulled her away from the bar. She heard whispers and giggles from the girls and a few other people who were still drinking.
Some of the men were even whistling to get her attention. She must have looked like a striper with just a bra and panties. She never knew until the girl pulled her.
"Jasmine, did you forget you are naked?"The girl whispered.
That was when it dawned on Jasmine that she had fled for her life when the Alpha released her from his grip. She had never been humiliated like this in her entire life. She looked at the girl gratefully.
She must be a new girl here. The rest of the girls hated her so much. They won't give up on an opportunity to mock her. She already heard their giggles and mock laughter. They must have been glad she was thrown out by the Alpha.
She thanked the girl and immediately put on her clothes and left swiftly amidst the ridicules. She will definitely get back to those girls on a very good day. She will make them pay. All of them.
Jasmine walked along the lonely path to her house that night. Different thoughts kept popping in her head. She continued to think about what happened tonight? She was sure she did nothing wrong. Then what happened?
"Arrrrrrrgh!!!!! I hate you, Jax! For treating me like shit! I did everything for you. I even left my mate for you! I had to bear all the hurt and ridicule just for you! But what did you do? You threw me away like trash immediately when you found your mate", she shouted in frustration as she broke down in tears.
She walked faster until she got to her family's home. She opened the door with a spare key. She was so distraught she didn't realize her father was in the sitting room.
"You are early today, cupcake. I thought you were supposed to be with the Alpha?", Her father asked.
"He threw me out and almost killed me. Satisfied?", Jasmine responded nonchalantly as she slumped on a couch.
"What? Are you serious? He wouldn't dare!", Her father said standing up.
"What if he does? Would you go against him? Remember he is Alpha Jax, the god of death? Father, I told you it won't work but you keep giving me hope", Jasmine said.
"It must work. Our plots shouldn't go in vain. Remember, we still have your mate locked up. If he eventually finds a way out, we are doomed", her father said.
"Yes, we are doomed. But I can't do anything, can I?", Jasmine said.
"Talk to me. What happened exactly?", Her father asked.
"It's like I said, he almost killed me and then threw me out for no reason at all. I did nothing wrong", Jasmine said.
"Just like that? Tell me everything in details"
"Including how we wanted to make out, father?", Jasmine asked with a smirk.
"Jasmine, I am still your father", her father said angrily.
"I told you already, we were just about to make out when he suddenly grew angry and told me to leave. I asked him why but that infuriated him more. That was when he strangled me almost to the point of death if not for his Beta who pleaded on my behalf. It's like he was possessed. It looked like I disgusted him", Jasmine narrated her story.
"What do you expect from an Alpha who found his soulmate? Not just any mate but his soulmate. They are bound by love. They find it impossible to be with another person other than their mate. My dear sister, I warned you", a woman's voice said calmly.
"Shut up, Celine. Go back to your room now", their father barked.
"Little sister, don't destroy yourself because of our father's ambition. You will just destroy your life", Celine said as she quietly walked back to her room.
Jasmine looked at her father who was fuming in anger. Though she knew her sister was right this time, she had gone too deep.
She already fell in love with Jax. She would do all it takes to get her hands on him. She must be with him. She has to do something about that mate of his that came from nowhere.

Beta Rufus dragged his tired body as he went to wake his sister up. He doesn't know anything about ladies and their stuff, how could Alpha Jax tell him to bring those things to his place? He is not a lady! Anyways, he can't refuse so he has to bribe her so she could go with him or make a list or something.
"Myrene…Myrene…please open up", he knocked gently on his sister's door.
He heard an annoyed growl from inside the house. What his sister hated most is to be woken up from her sweet sleep.
"It had better be worth it, Rufus!", She warned with an angry voice before opening the door", what do you want?".
"Myrene, I will give you two thousand dollars if you can accompany me to go shopping right now", Beta Rufus quickly said.
"Five thousand. And I will be ready to shop with you all night long", she replied grinning.
"You are so greedy", Beta Rufus said looking at her in disdain.
"Yeah, you are right. Am so greedy. So deal or no deal?", She said pretending to yawn.
"Deal. We are shopping for…eh…we are shopping for lady's clothes and whatever a lady would want or need", Beta Rufus said a little embarrassed.
"Uh? Ladies clothing? Whose girlfriend? Yours?", Myrene asked.
"No, it's for our future Luna", Beta Rufus said.
"Oh! Do you mean that stunning girl at Mason's birthday party that turned into the Alpha's mate? Are they living together now?", Myrene asked with curiosity.
"Have you ever heard of the saying that curiosity kills the rat? I don't have time for those questions right now. Let's go before Alpha Jax cuts off my head", Beta Rufus said, dragging his sister.
"You are a Killjoy! And very stingy. If I had known it was for our future Luna, I would have charged more", she grumbled as her brother bundled her into his car.
Almost all the shops in the town have closed because it's already late. They had to drive for another one hour before finally seeing a shop that was about to close.
Immediately the shopkeeper saw Beta Rufus, he led them into his shop. He was very excited to see the right-hand man of the alpha in his shop. He was sure he would have enough sales tonight. How lucky!
The shopping took more than three hours due to his sister's incessant chatting and selection. He regretted accompanying her. Women are surely troublesome. They keep picking and nitpicking the same thing over and over again.
By the time he got to the Alpha's mansion, it was almost dawn. He regretted carrying his sister along with him. He was tired and worn out. This had been the most tiring day of all the days he started working for the alpha.
He was tired mentally, emotionally, and physically. He just hopes these two settle their differences already.
He searched around for any female servant so he could hand over the clothes too. He was lucky his sister went to the party too so she must have seen Aurora's stature.
"Gilly, please come", he called on a chubby pork-faced girl.
"Yes, Beta", she answered with a bow.
"Take these things and give them to the alpha when he wakes up. Do not wake him up if he is still sleeping. Just give him when he is awake", he said as he pointed at several shopping bags.
Gilly was surprised at so many shopping bags but she had no right to say anything. She was just a mere servant. She only does what she is told to do. Anything other than that might warrant a death sentence. So, she just nodded and called two other servants to help her carry them.
But Beta Rufus stopped the male servants from assisting. He remembered the alpha specified just female servants. He wondered why but he just can't question the almighty Alpha.
"The Alpha insisted on only female servants, got it?", he said with no room for arguments.
"Okay, Beta", she nodded and called female servants to assist.
He was so tired from driving back to his house that he slumped on the sofa and fell into a deep sleep.
