Chapter 273: Chapter 273
###Chapter 272 One Wrong Step – Part 10
Jordan Astley was unprepared for a moment and was pushed two steps away. Instead of coming forward, he kept his eyes on Ivelle Astley and just looked at her.
The air was full of sticky coldness, and she thought he would yell at her angrily.
But no!
He looked at her for a long time, turned, and strode away.
She didn't know why it ended up like this. He was kind to her. She knew that, but how did he become like this?
Her tears fell on the ground: Tick-tock, tick-tock!
Before he left the bedroom, she went forward and hugged him from behind, and said hoarsely, "Don't go!"
He froze and stopped where he was, leaving her to hold him.
"I'm sorry!" She opened her mouth and buried her head on his back.
He was silent and did not speak, as if waiting for her to speak.
After a while, he took her hand around his waist and turned with his eyes low. "If you leaving me is why you're saying you're sorry, then you don't have to."
She looked at his chiseled face, and they stared at each other for a long time.
He raised his hand and put her messy hair behind her ear. He bowed his head and gave her a shallow kiss on the lips. "Just please don't take care of anything about that family, including the Farro family," he said.
She was suddenly stupefied. She had pulled her hand back. He reached out and pulled her hands into the palm of his hand in a low voice. "Hmm?"
Originally, she didn't want to take care of the family affairs, and she didn't need to take care of the Farro family.
But the tube in Jordan's mouth was different from what she understood. She owed Aaron Badger her life. If something happened to the elders of the Farro family and needed her, it was impossible for her not to intervene.
Therefore, there was no way for her to ignore this point.
"Jordan!" She opened her mouth and took her hand out of his palm. "I'm sorry."
His eyes began to be filled with coldness, with a sense of quiet suffering.
"You don't have to be sorry." He spoke with a stiff tone in his voice.
She sighed for a moment like a deflated ball, looked up at him, and said feebly, "Jordan, let's get a divorce!"
In fact, the problem was not Aaron Badger, and Nicole Blakeley had nothing to do with it too, but Ivelle really had a problem with Jordan.
Jordan grabbed Ivelle by the shoulder with great strength, stared at her with black eyes, tightly pursed his lips as if he was controlling his emotions. "In your dreams!"
The voice was extremely low and dull.
When he let her go, he took a step back, took a deep look at her, and then turned away.
She raised her hand and pinched the center of her eyebrow. She had a terrible headache.
Looking at the clothes he had left everywhere in the room, she was so upset that she picked them up.
She packed them in the suitcase and put all the things she needed to take away.
Then she sat on the bed and booked a flight to Hempstead tomorrow.
She stayed up for about two nights. She really didn't have the energy to stay up now. She fell asleep this night.
She thought she could sleep till dawn, but she thought too much. When Jordan came back, it was about two o'clock in the morning. She didn't know when he entered the bedroom.
She was awakened by the sound of water in the bathroom. Not long after the sound of the water had stopped, Jordan lifted the quilt and laid next to her.
His body was cool but dry and his hair was still wet. He put his hand around her waist, her back pressed against his taut chest, and so she stiffened slightly.
He was so close that she could clearly smell the hormonal smell of shower gel on his body.
She curled her lips and tried to move away from him. He held her down and pressed his chin against her shoulder. His voice was low and magnetic. "Just sleep!"
It wasn't long before she heard the shallow sound of breathing from him, so he was asleep.
She turned over and saw that he slept soundly with his eyes closed, and his well-defined features were extraordinarily handsome. Perhaps because he had been so tired recently that he had a dark circle under his eyes and looked a little haggard.
He seemed to be sleeping soundly. She raised the tip of her finger and landed on the wing of his nose, sketching his outline.
She could not help frowning when she vaguely smelled the wine in his breath. Just now he took a bath, but she didn't smell it as much. Now she smelled it carefully again and found out that he had been drinking.
She was tired and sleepy, but she couldn't sleep well when she laid down. She woke up every once in a while.
She finally fell asleep at dawn.
But she was awakened by Jordan when she fell asleep.
She raised her hand and tried to push him away so she was held by his backhand.
Perhaps in the morning, he would become more and more uncontrollable.
She was so sleepy. When she opened her eyes, she saw his face close at hand. His black eyes looked at her deeply.
She felt a little uncomfortable and tried to push him away. He raised her hands above her head in a low voice and said in a tough tone, "Don't move!"
She curled her lips to avoid the lips he kissed, "Jordan..."
"Don't make me angry. We can't get divorced, so you can't be less responsible for your wife!"
The phone rang. It was Jon. He was supposed to ask Ivelle what flight her ticket was scheduled for today.
Jordan picked up the phone first, and his voice was very low. "You're calling so early, so you'd probably hear us do our husband and wife things."
This man was shameless!
Ivelle didn't know what Jon on the other end of the phone said. When he hung up, he seemed even angrier.
......
After a lot of trouble, it was almost noon.
Ivelle was a little exhausted and didn't sleep well. When she was tossed about by Jordan, she was even more tired.
"What are you doing in Hempstead?" He laid next to her with a lot of food and drink. His hands were dishonestly attached to her.
She closed her eyes and refused to pay any attention to him. She leaned up to go to the bathroom and was held down by him. "Hmm?"
She curled her lips and said, "I'm going to take a shower!"
"I'll take you there!" He put his arms around her and his face was tense as death.
"No!"
"I'll see you off!" There was already a hint of anger in his tone.
With these words, he picked her up, carried her into the bathroom, put her in the bathtub, and gave her water.
She thought he was ready to go out after he had done this, but she didn't expect him to stand under the shower and wash up.
