" Here, if you’re still thirsty. Use this." The dark tendril snapped the rabbits neck with a crack before tossing the dead creature Infront of the Vampire on the ground.

" Thank you..." The Vampire looked doubtful at Su Ping but still thanked him for the meal.

Su Pings expressionless gaze watched as she ravenously bit into the creature, sucking it’s blood in rapid gulps until the once lively thing became a dried up husk, resembling dehydrated stockfish.

After finishing her meal, the area turned silent. The Vampire glanced around. Noticing the place they were, far from the eyes of others, and Su Ping’s gaze still lingered on her, Her shoulders trembled but she bit her shaking lips before slowly taking off her worn out clothing.

" And what do you think you’re doing?" A look of apprehension emerged on Su Pings face.

" Isn’t this why you summoned me... Or do you prefer me to beg before you do it." The Vampire eyed Su Ping with hints of bitter anguish in her eyes.

’ Beg before we do it? Is this summon brain dead. Why would I summon her for that.’

" Are all you vampires this arrogant?" Su Pings magical pressure leaked outwards, bearing down on the poor creature, Before she could react. And while she didn’t need to breath, she suddenly felt a suffocating power forcing her down to her knees while gasping for breath.

"I’m s-sorry, Please forgive my foolish self... I promise it won’t happen again." The Vampire suddenly felt as if she was on the brink of death just moments after being revived.

’ Good, looks like she’s completely suppressed.’ Su Ping felt relived inwardly.

" See that you don’t." Su Ping said before retracting his aura.

’ Fortunately, she isn’t of a high tier. Just Lvl 2 rare tier. But wait, how come she’s a vampire then? The book said vampires were powerful undead, most of them should be at Lvl 3 and above, only a rare few are Lvl 2 lords, so how come this one’s at rare tier.’ Su Ping thought to himself, clearly intrigued.

The Vampire struggled to regain her composure, even with Su Pings pressure gone, she still needed a moment to calm herself.

" You’re far too weak for a vampire. Are you sure you’re really an undead?" Su Ping asked with a raised brow.

" I’m sorry for being weak sir but, I can assure you, I am undead." The Vampire said with a forced smile. Su Pings remark had really struck a fatal blow in her heart.

" If you’re an undead, then why would you ask such a thing just after being summoned." Su Pings expression turned strange. " Is that something vampires usually do when summoned?"

" N-No!" The vampire blurted out unconsciously but hurriedly covered her mouth the next moment. " Please forgive my outburst sir." The Vampire bowed consecutively. Su Ping merely nodded.

" If it’s not a common occurrence, then I take it you acted in such a way because of your own experience?"

" Exactly sir... Again, I’m truly sorry for my unsightly display."

" As you wish, Sir." The Vampire said before telling Su Ping her story. After hearing her story. Su Ping was disappointed.

’ She didn’t mention anything useful.’ Su Ping felt like rolling his eye’s at her after hearing her tale.

Her name was Emilia Ronswood and she was actually a vampire of noble birth, though from a different land where humans and monsters supposedly lived in peace, a place that wasn’t on the Elora continent.

Her parents were not like usual nobles but where kind and companionate to those they ruled over but, due to their struggling land that failed to procure enough harvest for their people, Emilia’s family’s fief began to weaken and that was when neighboring fiefs with bad intentions wagged war and took over their land, killing her family but letting her live as a slave.

The only reason she usually accepted summons was because they were the only way for her to temporarily escape her cruel life.

’ She’s basically a ruined heroine without much use.’ Su Ping began regretting summoning her.

’ If all she has to offer is looks, maybe I could eat her?’

’ Come to think of it, wouldn’t I be able to complete one of the level up requirements if I constantly ate my summons?’ Su Ping continued to think about this.

Meanwhile, Emilia suddenly felt unsettled all of a sudden when she saw her summoners growing smile.

" U-Umm Sir, I can also do other things besides you know...those kinds of things." Emilia suddenly spoke up, she didn’t know whether he was planning on sending her back since he wasn’t interested in her body.

The last thing she wanted was to return to that hellish place once more. Even though one could be summoned by another, after the summoning, they would always return to their exact point of departure.

" Hmm? You’ve got other tricks?" Su Ping snapped out of his thoughts. Sizing her up with a doubtful look.

’ What use can a washed up Lvl 2 provide?’ Su Ping grew intrigued. He couldn’t help but wonder if she had something special up her sleeve since she mentioned being a former noble.

" I can turn humans into my subordinates! We vampires possess the ability to turn one with a–"

" Not interested..." Su Pings flat reply stunned her

" S-Sir? A-Are you sure?" The vampire said in a flustered tone. " Gathering loyal subordinates isn’t an easy task. With my help–"

" Do I need to repeat myself?" Su Ping said in a cold manner that made Emilia hurriedly shake her head from side to side in dismissal.

Why would he need someone who could create subordinates when he could easily do that with less of an effort? Su Ping thought to himself. Besides, wouldn’t a zombie king or Death Knight be more efficient?

’ The fact that she emphasized on subordinates makes me wonder whether her reason is due to the influence of other players.’

’ It’s not impossible for other players to have already spread their reach depending on the amount of time that’s gone by.’

" Then why not implore me as a bodyguard!" Emilia suddenly spoke up.

" You’re too weak..." Su Ping rejected her without patting an eye.

" S-Sir... If you’re not looking for a fighter, then could I ask what it is you’re actually looking for." Emilia didn’t blurt out another suggestion but probed her summoner. After being rejected more than twice, and noticing his change in demeanor, she realized that wasting time would only end in her loss.

" What I’m looking for?" Her question caught Su Ping off guard.

’ Come to think of it, I wasn’t thinking of anything specific when I used the summoning spell. I just wanted to test out it’s effects and see how good it was.’ Su Ping said to himself before stealing a glance at Emilia.

" Are you undead capable of giving birth?"

" W-What?" Emilia froze before blinking in disbelief.

’ What kind of question is that! I thought he said he wasn’t interested in me.’ Emilia’s felt exasperated but she struggled to hold it in.

" Well Sir, we aren’t like you humans, it’s a lot harder for us vampires to get pregnant since we’re technically undead but ultimately, we can." Emilia said, choosing her words carefully while monitoring Su Ping’s expression.
