Chapter 165: Chapter 165

Third Person's POV

The next day, Leilani expected Raymond to be gone when she woke up. She already had in mind that when she got up there was no trace of the man in any part of the room, but she was wrong when she saw Raymond beside her while hugging her abdomen.

She stared at its face because she couldn't believe it. He slept peacefully while his mouth was slightly open. His body was also revealed and only the bottom of his body was covered.

She watched Raymond intently and was unaware that the tears were just dripping on purpose that she would have wanted to hold back.

"... Idiot." She couldn't help but tell the man next to her now as she hugged him.

When she sniffed, the man woke up.

She didn't know that Raymond's eyes had opened.

Leilani planned that after they did this thing she would leave and just forget about Raymond's, but what she saw now was the man who hadn't even left her side — inside she would have a hard time.

“It's early in the morning but you start crying right away. Did it hurt you what we did?” Raymond put Leilani's runaway hair to her ear.

Leilani shuddered, unable to explain how happy and joy she felt as she knew she couldn't let Raymond go.

Raymond couldn't help but smile as Leilani hugged him even tighter. Raymond knew Leilani was just lying when she insulted him.

But even if he knew that, he still couldn't avoid being hurt. Even now that they are hugging, Raymond is still not sure that Leilani will not leave him. He knew in them that he was the most disadvantaged.

Nor can he avoid falling into the abyss of what they call love. Even though he wanted to get out of drowning here, he knew, he couldn’t get out.

Raymond stood up but he also quickly got back to lying down as Leilani pulled him back. Leilani squeezed his face into Raymond's chest and didn't want to let go of it.

"Who would have thought that you used to be like a tiger who wants to attack me because of anger but now, you're like a kitten that can't live when your master is gone." Raymond laughed as he pinched Leilani's now reddened cheek.

Leilani retaliated and pinched his side as well. Raymond's laughter echoed throughout the room and Leilani couldn't help the lightness of her heart.

The butterfly in her stomach was so much fun and she couldn’t explain how pleasurable it felt.

Raymond lay down for a while and locked Leilani with his foot. He pressed Leilani's face even harder against his body as if he didn't want to let go of her anymore.

In the middle of their embrace, there was a sudden knock on the door. Leilani instantly pushed Raymond away. She ran to the cabinet and looked for something to wear. She opened the door with a small opening so that the knocker could not see the person inside her room.

When she opened the door she saw nothing else. She opened the door wider and saw that Athen suddenly ran into her room which is why she was surprised.

"Athens!" She couldn't resist calling because Raymond hadn't gotten dressed yet.

But when Leilani closed the door and looked around, she didn't even see Raymond. She rolled her eyes and could not see the man anywhere.

"What?" Surprisingly Athen looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

“Nothing. Why are you here?" Leilani was now smiling at her because she didn’t want to look weird in front of Athen. Leilani is still simply looking for Raymond's spot.

When she saw the cabinet with one finger sticking out, she quickly ran there and turned around so that Athen could not see it. Leilani is afraid that Athen might think differently of her and she will tell her mommy about it.

"Nothing, is it bad to come here?" Athen sat on Leilani's bed and swayed her foot.

Leilani is just closing her eyes because of Athens being a naughty kid. Leilani pinched the finger that came out and she felt it move and enter the cabinet.

She turned first to make sure there was no trace of anything before she went to Athens.

"Of course not. I just want to know why our baby girl is here.”

"Mommy said that I should go here while she was talking to someone downstairs."

"Talking?"

Leilani suddenly remembered that Luna should have talked to the lawyer yesterday, she didn't know why it came today because it didn't show up yesterday.

"What do you mean the owner of everything can't be known until everything has been confirmed?" Mark's voice rose. "Haven't you seen enough on TV?"

Mark doesn’t know how he can convince the lawyer to say who will continue what Adonis left behind because when everything goes on, there is a chance that the company will collapse.

He knew that they really needed to have a funeral before they could know the names. Yet, he couldn't do it because even he didn't want to believe that Adonis has died.

"All we have to do is give him a burial, right?" Leilani responded to what they were talking about.

The lawyer nodded as he crossed his legs. Luna thought deeply about what she should do. She thought that since the lawyer was coming here, she would no longer have the funeral for Adonis.

"I will do it." No brakes Luna said. She has no other choice but that. If she doesn't act, Adonis will lose everything.

Mark turned away, it was hard for them all to do this. But it doesn't mean that Adonis will be buried, they are not killing him, Luna still has a strong feeling that Adonis is still alive.

“Then, I will only return when you have done it.” The lawyer stood up and shook hands with Luna.

It was Mark who took the lawyer outside. As she stared into space, the telephone suddenly rang at the same time as the doorbell rang. She didn’t know what she was going to prioritize, whether it was the doorbell or the phone.

When she saw that Nana was running out, she walked over to the telephone. Fortunately, when she came to it, it still didn't stop ringing.

"Hello?"

"We're going home, Luna."
