My eyes scanned the area for Luke. I'm not sure, but I see why his phoning me gave me the chills. That is, I cannot convey to him how uneasy I feel. When I shifted my gaze toward him, I saw he was waving at me.

"How come you seemed to see a ghost the way you stare a me?" He was joking with me, and even added a feeble chuckle to the conversation. I didn't even alter my expression toward him, and I let him talk freely despite my discomfort. He sends me inexplicable vibes. "Well, because today is the last day, I'm hoping to c-communicate with you even if it's not for the shoot —-"

"Is Athens finished?" I never let him finish and I asked. If he hadn't completely finished, I would have remained uneasy. He came to a halt for a minute, and despite the fact that I could see his buddies, I could only hear the commotion in the background. The more I hear of his breath, the more I realize that the call is not yet ended.

“Oh. Yes. In any case, Luna, may I invite you on a date?"

"All well, I'll take her." I didn't pay attention to what he said since I already had an opinion on him. I knew what he was attempting to say, but I was uninterested. If he's teasing, I'm not in the mood to play since I'm still unable to contact Adonis.

I had already begun walking toward Athens, but I disregarded Luke's stare.

“Mommy! Are we returning home?" Even Athen was having difficulty walking towards me due to the costume she was wearing. I stooped to her height. I smiled as I combed her hair.

"Yes."

"Are we in the company of daddy?" She then inquired, the reason why I had stopped. How can I tell him that his father has left. I spirited away his father a second time. "Mommy?" She called me again when I did not respond.

"Daddy needed to attend to something, so he departed first." I arose and clasped her hand in mine. I don't believe I need to conceal Athen's father because they saw me with Adonis the other day. I wandered my eyes and ventured to seek for Jessica, but no matter where I looked, I couldn't find her. Perhaps she was now with Adonis. My heart sinks every time I consider that they are together and that there is a possibility that he would marry Jessica since they will have a child together and, more importantly, they are compatible because they both own businesses.

"Let's go Athen, maybe daddy will just go to Guangong."  Even though my body is here, Adonis carries my heart and mind.

As we walked away, a large hand grabbed my hair, knocking me to the ground and slamming my forehead on the rock. I attempted to rise but there was a person sitting on top of me, and as I looked at who the person was, I saw the lady raised an eyebrow while maintaining an angelic countenance due to her beauty. I ignored her and rubbed my blood-stained forehead now. My eyes widened in response to Athen's scream.

I quickly pushed the woman away from me and fell to the ground. I approached Athen as I struggled with the pain in my forehead. I wiped away her tears as I tried to calm her down.

"Ssshh ... Mommy is okay." I hugged and stroked her back to calm her down. I kissed her forehead as my heart pounded. When I looked back at the woman, she was far away now as Luke prevented her from approaching us again.

“SO, YOU ARE NOT COMING HOME BECAUSE OF THIS SHITTY MISTRESS YOU HAVE HERE?!” The woman shouted, so my forehead furrowed even more.

Mistress? Me? I saw Tiffany watching us with a worried expression. I walked over to her, giving Athen to her. I walked over to the woman who still didn’t want to calm down to this time. She doesn’t see me approaching because she’s busy struggling. As I came, Luke stopped holding her while I grabbed her shoulder and turned her over to me.

I gave her a loud slap, so she turned her face to the left side. The woman's face was covered with her hair, and she did not move. Luke was quick to intervene.

“That is enough. Stop this! Many people are watching!”

But I didn’t listen to him and just pushed him away from us. Just as the woman was about to face me, I slapped her again.

“You will embarrass me in front of my daughter and hurt me just for accusing me of something I don't know? Fuck you!” I crisp to curse her. My head heats up because of what she did. Who is she to say such words to me?

When something moved from behind her, I saw Jessica walking fast away from us. My head got even hotter, so I pulled the hand of the woman who was now bent over as I chased after Jessica.

When she turned around, her eyes widened when she saw that I followed her. Her every step grew, but it was too late because I got her hand.

"Did you tell this woman your nonsense?!" I shouted violently in her face, so she closed her eyes. Nothing can stop my anger now. This morning I was still not in the mood, and they just added to the heat of my head.

"Do you have proof that I'm Luke's mistress ?!" I was almost devastated by the aggressiveness of my shout. I was right in my suspicion that Luke would not do me any good because I had a different vibe with him. "Maybe you're like that because Adonis doesn't want to accept the child you have?!"

There was a look of shock on her face because of what I mentioned. My grin widened. Because I was embarrassed, I had to embarrass them too. I will not allow myself to be the only one laughed at by the three of us.

“You are funny,y Jessica. Do you know what you two are called?”

I let go of their hands and pushed. I don't care if Jessica is still pregnant or if it's Luke's wife.
