"I missed you and your wife missed you too. Your people missed you and your clan is not in good hands, please come back" he said now weeping hard.

"Damien please come back to us. I know you are hearing us and we plead you to return back to where you belong" Galene added, her voice harsh as though she was scolding him.

After a few minutes and Damien still didn't move, Galene angrily stood up grabbing the sword.

"Okay Damien, that's enough. We have begged you enough and I would not take it lightly with you again.

I would count to three and if you still didn't wake up then I will end everything. I will kill myself right now and I would never forgive you" Galene yelled.

"One.. she counted and paused, her eyes fixed on him.

"Two... She counted raising the sword above her head.

Damien you don't want to come back right? You do not love me enough to come back for me right?" She asked, her voice cracking.

"Fine I would end it all now since I am nothing to you and you obviously never loved me nor your son" she cried shutting her eyes.

"Now that's an accusation" she heard as she was about lowering the sword.

Peeping one of her eyes open to confirm if the voice she just heard was really the one she thought it was, her eyes met with his pouting lips.

"m..My lo..rd? Galene asked with a widened eyes. "You do not have to accuse me in order to bring me back jewel" Master Damien replied with a weak smile.

"My Lord... father my husband has arose" Galene shouted running to Arnold, shaking and pointing at Damien.

She left Arnold and went over to Duru. Did you see that Duru? Master is awake. Mother?" Galene said screaming out her lungs.

"You really are giving my son a hard time. And weren't you supposed to hug me first before spreading the news to people who are obviously not blind?" Master Damien pouted.

Galene Chuckled and ran to him crushing him with her body. "I am not dreaming right? And you are really awake?" Galene muttered still in shock.

"Dreams must be too sweet that you want to crush me back to unconsciousness" Master Damien joked and Galene instantly released him from her tight grasped grinning widely.

She couldn't believe her husband was up and talking to her. She couldn't believe her shattered hope would come back to life.

"Do you really mean to kill yourself and my son if I didn't wake?" Master Damien asked and Galene nodded Swiftly.

She didn't ever imagine herself still living if he never did return.

"Help me up" master Damien said and immediately Duru came to help him up.

"Damien" Arnold called and stepped closer to him. Damien raised his head to look at him.

Seeing the sad and fear in his father's eyes, he sighed.

"I Know you didn't do it father. I found out Harold did after overhearing his discussion with his mother but the guilt of killing you hunt me down" Damien muttered, his eyes watering.

For twenty years, he never lay his eyes on his father. He had thought he died and blaming himself for killing his father for a crime his uncle committed turned him into the ruthless Master he was until Galene appeared.

"I thought I killed you, after finding out the truth, for years, I couldn't get pass the nightmare you death and that of grandfather brought to me" Master Damien said, a tear dropping from his eyes.

"Arnold wiped off the tears on his eyes and hugged him. Releasing all the bottled up emotions, both of them wept in each other's arms.

Mariam laid on her little bed, staring up the ceiling. It has been three days since she returned to being slave and those days were the worst day of her life.

She was mocked, spat on, given the largest portions of work and the worst was Robin's new mistresses got to know about her and they also joined in making her life a living hell.

"Come out now" a harsh voice called from outside and she quickly sprang up.

Any more minute wasted would require her Working on double portion.

She quickly hurried out of the small room and made her way to the kitchen.

She ignored the sneers and laugher and picked up a large bowel, filled it with water and turned around, walking towards the door.

A maid suddenly appeared in her front and bumped into her, causing the water to pour all over her.

"Oh, I never knew someone was coming" the maid snickered, walking away.

Mariam sighed, she knew the girl did it intentionally and there was nothing she could do about it.

She wiped the water off her face and dropped the bucket. Now she needs to clean up the water and change her clothes before going to the mistresses chamber to wash their early morning feet.

She already knew she would be late and numerous slap imprints would be designed on her face.

"And the queen is just arriving in all her glory" Jade, one the Mistresses said with an eye roll as Mariam walked into the room.

"I am sorry, I had to clean up something in the kitchen, that was what delayed me" Mariam said.

"Shut your slutty mouth and get to business. I wouldn't want the Master to wait for me" Lula another of the mistress yelled and Mariam swallowed.

She added beauty oils in the water, and began washing Lula's legs first.

"Tell us Mariam, why did the Master Robin dump you? Weren't you good on bed?" Jade asked and the other two laughed.

"I bet she wasn't, such a ugly girl what would the master even enjoy in her" Lula taunted.

Mariam boiled in so much anger that she had no idea she was pressing hard on Lula's foot till she broke her toe nail.

"Have you lost your senses?" Lula yelled, slapping her hard across the face.

"You would pay dearly for this nails you just broke" Ylva, the last among the mistresses said in rage.

"She doesn't know how much it cost to design a nail to be that good, such a dirt" Jade spat.

"Mariam kept quiet not feeling any remorsed, she didn't even apologized and was not planning to anyways.

You all should do your worst, I'm done keeping quiet. I am not a slave to any of you" Mariam yelled and stomped out of the room in anger leaving the bowl behind.

She knew she would be punished severely put she does not care about that.

She did not kill anybody that they would have to kill her. She got to her room, stepped Inside and shut the door.

Few minutes later, a loud knock landed on the door and she knew they have come for her but she wasn't affected in anyway.

She stood up and walked to the door, opened it and two guards stood there.

"Don't bother wasting your saliva, I already know what you are here for, where's he?" She asked referring to master Robin.

She knew his mistresses must have reported her to him. The guards began walking away and she followed behind them.

Mariam got into master Robin's chamber, her eyes darted to him sitting on the bed and Lula crying beside him.

"Look at the witch, she broke my nails out of jealousy" Lula sniffed glaring hard at Mariam. "And she yelled at us saying she wasn't our slave. Do you know she even slapped me Master?" Lula said accusing her.

"I did no such thing. You were the one who slapped me" Mariam defended.

"How low can you be Mariam? Must you show your jealousy and cruelty everywhere you go?" Master Robin said staring disdainfully at Mariam.

Mariam's heart shattered. She stared at Robin with all the hatred in her, she wished she could expose him to the elders but she had no evidence to back up her claim and would end up persecuted for lying against the leader.

She kept mute and only stare into his face saying nothing to him, her gaze said everything master Robin needed to know.

"What punishment do you want for her dear?" Master Damien asked Lula who smiled widely at the name she was addressed with.

Mariam scoffed inside. If only these girls know they mean nothing to Robin and he would use them as he want but once Galene appear, he would toss them away for her has eyes only for Galene.

"I would want her to stay here and watch us make love, maybe she might learn some styles from me.

"I heard she wasn't good in bed, I do not want to be a bad person like her so I've decided to teach her" Lula said and Mariam's face twitched in disgust.

"That sounds fun and you are right about her not being good on bed so I agree you teach her your awesome tactics" Master Robin said with a smirk.

"Kneel and do not take your eyes off us, you wouldn't like what I would do to you if you do otherwise"Master Robin stated.

"Robin did all that?" Master Damien yelled in fury and Galene nodded.

Looking at him now, one would never believe he had been in coma for three months and half and just woke up hours ago.

He looked like one who has been well and energetic.

"I never thought Robin could ever betray you not to talk of Mariam" Galene said.

They were all sitting outside the cottage and Galene was telling Master Damien everything that happened in his absence.

To say master Damien was beyond shocked was an understatement. He would never in his life imagine Robin betraying him.

"Robin was among the warrior he recruited. He proved himself worthy of trusting in so many ways that he took him more of a younger brother than a guard.

"Duru" Master Damien called and Duru who was having a conversation at a distance ran to him.

"Yes Master" Duru bowed.

"Sit"

"You would return to the castle, and you would find a way to get my warriors out, inform them of my arrival and make sure they prepare and await for me tomorrow eve. We are going to teach that fool a lesson of his life" Master Damien said.

"Yes my Lord" Duru bowed and left.

Master Damien stare at his precious jewel. He noticed she had gotten so thin that her collar bones were all out.

"Robin dared make advances on his wife. His property. Taking over the clan and his chambers wasn't enough for him, he still went ahead desiring for his wife and making advances at her.

"And that Mariam who made life unbearable for his wife, he would make sure he plucks off her eyes and legs.

Galene giggled resting her head on his chest, her face filled in happiness.

"What amuses my wife to make her giggle by herself this hot afternoon?" master Damien asked.

"My Lord, Galene smiled out. "I am still in shook, I thought I lost you finally when you refused to wake up, I never knew you were already awake but pretending just so you could here every thing I had to say" Galene pouted making master Damien to chuckle.

THE NEXT DAY...

Very early in the morning the next day, Master Damien together with Galene and Arnold set out in a journey, heading back to Guthram clan.

Duru had gone the previous night and Master Damien was sure he had relay his information to his warriors and they must be waiting for his arrival already.

It was late in the evening when they arrived. Darkness had started enveloping the earth and it was the perfect time to strike.

Following through the woods, the all entered the castle through the library door.

"Jewel, go inform Duru of our presence" master Damien said and Galene nodded before walking out of the library and going in search of Duru.

Galene was still searching for Duru when one of the guard so her and went to report to the master.

Galene finally saw Duru and as Duru saw her, he already know they gave arrived so he signalled the other warriors.

As Galene was returning back to the library, the same guard that informed the master of her presence stopped her.

"The master sent for you?" The guard said a d Galene scoffed.

"What master?" She asked glaring at the guard.

"Master Robin of course" the guard replied.

"Go and tell your master that I am not interested" Galene pointed out and tried leaving but the guard held her back, restricting her movement.

"I'm sorry but you have to follow me"

"Anyways he would not try anything foolish when her husband was in the palace. Galene followed him to the chamber.

"Why did you send for me?" Galene asked Robin rolling her eyes.

"Where have you been Galene? You disappeared to thin air without telling anyone where you are going to, may I know why you acted that way?" Master Robin queried, his eyes filled with lust.

Galene was looking more radiant and his blood was beginning to boil in desire.

He wanted her now and he doesn't care about the consequences. He was the clan leader now and no one would question his authority.

If he say he want her, even though she still has a baby inside of her, he would take her that way.

Who cares if the baby dies anyways . She would give him as many children as he desires if she becomes his wife.

He was done playing kindness and tonight, right there and then, he was going to take her whether she likes it or not.
