Chapter 16: Chapter 16

JUNE

Mark and I only stayed in their house for an hour before he drove me to my house.

Kristin didn't try to call me after I angrily disconnected, and I didn't attempt to contact him, preferring to pretend like I wasn't jealous of the woman who can be with my uncle because she was not related to him.

Why do I have to be related to him?

Not that I mind, but Kristin sure as hell minded about the relationship. He's determined to treat me like a thirteen-year-old niece, who's not ready for dating, and will never be.

I sneaked into my house to change my clothes before I joined Mark. I threw on a black bicker bum short, which I paired off with an off-shoulder crop white top.

The top showed off my perfect flat tummy, while my bum short hugged my butt, making me look as alluring as hell.

I intended to wear my white sneakers but decided against them when my eyes landed on my knee-length boots, studded with jewels.

I combed through my hair, preferring to leave it that way instead of constricting it. As for makeup, I just dabbed some powder on my face and was good to go.

I'm not much of a makeup type of girl. Just give me some face powder and chapstick, and I'm ready for the party.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, admiring my flat stomach, slim waist and thick thighs. I turned my back, imagining the expression that will be on Kristin's face when he sees me in such an outfit.

Will he think I'm hot?

Just like the night when I tried to seduce him, will he have an erection from seeing the goodies in front of him?

I touched my sizeable breasts, loving the way the top hugged them, making them seem bigger than they are.

With one last glance at my reflection, I left the house to join Mark, who gaped at me like a fool the moment I stepped out of the house.

He whistled as his eyes racked through my body, starting from my hair, down to my belly button before it went further down to my creamy thighs. “Girl, you are a walking sin,” he catcalled.

I twirled around for him, making sure to shake my arse when I turned my back to him. His whistles increased, “shit!”

“Wipe the drool off your face, Mark.” I got into his car and winked at him. “So, how am I? Ready for a party?”

I haven't been to a party since I was born. You can say my uncle sheltered me so much.

“Of course!” He winked at me. “If you don't mind, will you be my girlfriend and make this man the happiest on Earth?” He smiled at me as he playfully took my hand in his.

“Snap out of it, Mark. I will only date you in your dreams. And even at that, I won't be caught dead dating you,” I put on my seatbelt and stared at the house as if I expected my uncle to return at that moment.

However, I know that's not possible. He's undoubtedly having the time of his life in a hotel with that slut. I can even imagine the shameless sounds she made as he fucked her hard.

“Come on, I'm not that bad. Aside from my studies, that's it. But this man here is not only rich but handsome.” He boasted, puffing his chest out, “what don't you like about me when I'm every girl's dream?”

“Yet you are still single?” I scoffed. “It's obvious that none of the girls want someone like you.”

“Oh, they do.” He started his car and drove towards the venue for the party.

It's still 6 O'clock. School ended by 4 unlike the normal 3 O'clock.

The party doesn't start until 7 O'clock, and I'm not ready to be an early bird, especially not to a party.

We drove around until it was time, and he drove straight to the place.

“I've not been to this kind of place before.” I glanced around the enormous house, staring at the cars packed across the lawns and on the streets.

The loud music coming from the house didn't help matters at all. It was loud even from a distance.

“I know. Your uncle is so possessive, he won't want you to mingle with this kind of crowd,” he parked the car and alighted.

I got down and closed the door behind me before I walked towards his side, still staring at the house.

The sun has long made a descent, but it's not yet dark. I can still make out the few students standing outside —in groups.

“It's time to party, chap,” Mark linked our arms and led me towards the door. “This is a campus party. You have to stay close to me. Don't wander off,” he said in warning.

“Doesn't plan on that.” I checked the time on my watch, “when are we leaving?”

“Before Nine. Why?”

“I want to be home before Kristin gets home.”

He might not have told me of any curfews, but I doubt he will want me to stay outside past 10. Else, he might go over to Mark's house like he threatened to do when he called me this afternoon.

“Don't worry, little darling. I will have you home before your uncle gets back. Don't worry about it.” He tried to ruffle my hair, but a dark glare from me caused him to pause.

“Don't you dare!”

He frowned but didn't say a word as he all but dragged me towards the door, while I tried not to trip on my feet when I noticed the stares from the few students out.

The way they stared at me — especially the men — made me feel self-conscious. I tugged on my bum-short as if it might lengthen it.

I'm just not comfortable having others stare at me like I'm a side dish or dessert.

Well, I won't mind that if my uncle is the one doing the staring.
