I was just here again in the pool, playing with the water with my finger want

I’m so sleepy right now, but I don’t sleep because Stephen might do something to me while I’m asleep.

I stood up and when I turn around; I was surprised when Stephen was there, because of shock I was out of balance and I fell into the pool.

“S-Stephen... H-Help!”

“Seriously? For real, you don’t really know how to swim?”

Do you think I’m lying right now?

I just close my eyes when I feel like my body is getting weak and then suddenly I just felt someone pull at my waist... I immediately hugged Stephen’s neck.

“Hey, hey! I can’t breathe. I think you’re going to kill me!” I moved my face a little away from him.

“S-Sorry...” My eyes widened when I saw he is haft naked, so I immediately averted my eyes.

“Really? You’re still embarrassed to look and you’ve already seen it all.” He said angrily. I pushed him so he let go of my waist and drowned again.

I can only say one thing to myself. I’m dumb.

Stephen took my hand and pulled me towards him as soon as I wrapped my leg around his waist and hugged him tightly.

I was chasing my breath. I thought I was going to die. What will happen to my family if I die?! They will die too because there’s no one to work for them.

“Stephen!” I slapped his back.

“What?? You’re the one who pushed me and then now you’re the one who has the urge to be angry?”

I just frowned. “H-Hey! Your hand is on my ass! You pervert!” I was even more annoyed when he just laughed.

He can’t stop laughing and I don’t know why I move closer, my mouth to his neck, and bite it.

“F**k! What the heck is your problem! Are you a vampire huh!” He said angrily. I suddenly trembled with fear. I remember when my stepbrother shouted at me.

He noticed I seemed scared because of his shout, then he hugged me immediately. “Damn! I’m sorry I was just surprised. That’s hurt though?” I breathed a sigh of relief when his voice became calm.

What thought suddenly came in to my mind: why did I bite him?! Maybe I was just really irritated.

“My back hurts,” I complained as he tightened his hold on me.

I swallowed as I feel that there’s something hard poking my ass.

“Stephen-- oh my god! Why are you two doing miracles in the pool!” We both turned to Nanny Daley in surprised, she’s standing at the side of the pool and her hands are both in her mouth covering it.

“Manang Daley, we have done nothing yet. Don’t overreact.”

Yeah, Stephen is right. We did nothing like that. I’m not naked he neither. I mean he’s only haft naked and he’s hot...

I immediately shook my head because of what I said in my mind. Shut up Alyana, don’t act like that, you’re not that kind of girl!

The two of us went up, and I just sat on the grass while just looking at them.

“Oh, right! I’m here to tell you Stephen that I have to go home, in our province, my grandson there has a fever and there is no one to watch over him because my daughter has a job, no one else will be left there.” Nanny Daley said.

Wow, her grandson is lucky to have a grandmother like her. I didn’t even get to see my grandmother and grandfather, my dad’s parents is already dead and my mom’s parents...uhm, I don’t know, mom didn’t tell me about them so I didn’t bother to ask, I noticed before that she got suddenly emotional when talking about them.

I guess they’re already dead, may be in a tragic way. That’s why it hurts my mom a lot. And what happens to my mom and dad is tragic too. It hurts me a lot when the two of them died, and now I am thankful that I have my stepmother, sis Kelly, and Keil. They’re the only family I have now.

Even though they didn’t treat me as a family, I still love them. Mom and dad said to me before that when someone did something bad to us, harm hurts us and, etc. Even if the person didn’t ask for forgiveness, we should still forgive them.

Remember? Jesus died for sinners and through his death, paid for all our sins that we may receive by grace that entire God wanted to give us together with the salvation of our souls.

“Do you need money, nanny Daley? It’s just for your grandson’s treatment, bring him to hospital.”

“No, it’s okay Stephen, I still have money. I’ve saved some of my salary from last month.”

I just look back and forth at the two of them. They’re like mother and son. It’s feels good seeing people cared for each other.

Hmm, how many years is it? I don’t remember now when is the last time I felt the love of a mother. Warm hugs and kisses, I miss it. I miss them. There’s no day that I don’t miss my parents.

“No, that’s not enough, nanny Daley.” Stephen went inside and when he returned he was carrying a wallet and took some money. He gave it to Nanny Daley.

“I already said that it’s okay--“

“Nanny Daley, just take it, think of it as a gift or bonus.” He said and even pout his lips, I think he is doing that so that nanny accepts the money.

Well, Stephen is kind and I think he is just hiding it. Why would he need to act like a cold and don’t care about other people even if he really does care? Anyway, I should judge him because I don’t know him very well yet.

“Okay fine, you really are kind, just like your mom and dad.”

“I’m not kind nanny.” She just shook her head while laughing.

After that nanny was about to step away. “Wait nanny Daley! Are you  leaving now?” Stephen asked and nanny nods as an answer.

Nanny Daley looked me in the eye. “Young lady, take care of him while I’m gone,” she said and I pointed at myself and seemed to ask her if she was referring to me.

“Nanny Daley, she’s not my maid or babysitter! I’m already old I can take care of myself, I’m not a child anymore you know.”

“Why can’t she take care of you? Does she need to be a maid to take care of you? It’s better for her to practice just in case you two get married-- “

“What??” Stephen and I are both shocked.

Get married? Us? Am I going to be his second wife? Wrong Alyana! He might have hundreds of girls, so it’s impossible that you’re going to be the second... wait!

Why am I thinking of that? I don’t have any plans to marry him anyway!

“Why? Am I wrong? Girlfriend turns into wife soon if you two are going to be married, isn’t that right?” She’s right, but at the same it’s not right. Do you get me though? It’s not right because not all girlfriends are going to be your the one. Marriage is a lifelong commitment. If you want to get married, you should think twice of even trice.

“She’s not my girlfriend, Nanny Daley.” Nanny Daley’s forehead suddenly wrinkled.

“She’s not your girlfriend? Then why did you bring her here? Why did you let her live in your house? I know you very well, Stephen. I’ve been taking care of you since you were just a child, so I already know you, you’re not the type of person just let anyone stay in your house.

“You even dislike your own friends and want them out of your house and also those girls who became your girlfriends. Only Vanessa, you let her sleep, and go around in here... And I think Alyana is special to you. That’s why you let her live--" she didn’t get a chance to finish what she’s saying when Stephen suddenly spoke.

“Stop it, nanny Daley! Don’t you ever mention that woman’s name again!” I bite my lower lip when Stephen shout after a couple of seconds, he left here and only nanny Daley and I were left.
