Chapter 98: Chapter 98
Emelinia thought about how her house was destroyed. Going back to the ruins was suicide but living with the suspense was going to be harder.
"Shays, would you mind escorting me to my house?" Emelinia asked him.
"I don't mind but you do realize that Dark Star isn't a safe zone anymore." Shays pointed out.
Emelinia quickly nodded her head. "Yes I know that but it is important that I go."
"What about the baby?" Shays asked her.
"My mother won't mind watching him for a few hours."
"Alright then. I will be waiting for you outside." Shays said and left the tent.
Emelinia sent someone to call Channy who went rushing a few minutes later. Emelinia explained to her that she had to return to Gemhules but Channy refused to let her go. Emelinia showed Channy the letter and she sat on the bed deep in thought. She looked back at Emelinia with eyes full of worry.
"Dear I am scared." Channy said to Emelinia.
Emelinia knelt down and placed her hands on Channy's. "Don't worry mama I will return to you. Please you must understand that I have to do this. Shays will escort me there."
Channy lovingly cupped Emelinia's cheek. "Be very careful. I will take care of Dawn."
Emelinia picked a small bag and promptly left. She found Shays outside the tent talking to three men. As soon as he set his eyes on her opening a portal, he followed her into it.
The both of them stepped into the night of Gemhules. The once beautiful neighborhood was dead silent and in ruins like a creepy ghost town. The warm household Emelinia called home was in shambles but not completely in ruins for only half the house was torn apart. From where she stood, she could still see her bedroom door.
"I sense no one in the house." Shays quietly said but his voice sounded loud due to the uncomfortable silence. "There are people in the mansion across the street." He pointed to the unkempt mansion of Velan. "I think they are fourth class darkas gods. Their gamarax is too low. They must be squatting in there."
"Yes I agree with you." Emelinia said. "I won't be long." Emelinia told him.
Shays activated his sword. "I'll alert you should anything of significance happen." He smiled at her.
Emelinia made her way to the porch of the house. Logs of wood blocked the doorway. She tried to lift one up but it didn't budge. She turned to Shays and he focused his gamarax on the logs and moved them away.
Emelinia got cautiously into the house. She activated her eyes and was able to see in the dark. She couldn't believe how lifeless the house was. It was as though it was never once a beautiful home.
Emelinia stood in the dining room and pictured how everyone happily had their meals there. She didn't realize that she was crying until she heard herself sniff. She wiped her tears and turned to the stairs.
Every step she took made a creaking sound. The staircase holder was filled with thick dust that it made her sneeze. She covered her mouth and nose with a handkerchief and made her way to her bedroom.
Emelinia frowned at how dusty her once clean and neat bedroom was. She sat on Naian's side of the bed and cried. In the midst of her cries, she set her foggy vision on a picture of her and Naian together. It stood covered in dust on Naian's drawer. Emelinia longingly looked at it and rubbed the dust off Naian's face.
"Will I ever see you again my love?" She cried and hugged the picture frame.
After crying for a while, Emelinia put the picture inside her bag and got up. She remembered Sharaina's promise and wiped her tears with a small lump in her throat.
"Sharaina will surely keep her promise. Yes, she will." Emelinia shook her negative feelings.
She had to focus on what she had gone there for. She looked around the room and wondered where Dano could have hidden the book.
"He said that it is where our eyes met in the moonlight." Emelinia bit her lip.
She remembered that Dano was kneeling beside her bedside and she went there. She knelt down and looked under the bed. All she saw where her house shoes and her seers books.
Emelinia looked around under the bed and found nothing just as she suspected. She wondered how possible it was for Dano to hide a book there because she would have seen it the very next day after he hid it considering the fact that she moved things around whenever she swept.
Emelinia's instincts told her to look through the books and she pulled one out. She opened it and turned it open. Her instincts were telling her to look through the book.
Emelinia perused through the book until she spotted a tiny thin book hidden within the pages. She shook the book and it fell out. Emelinia picked the book with shaky hands.
She wasted no time in opening it.
I wrote this short book specifically for you Emelinia.
Chapter One - The act of feeding.
Seers can feed on vampires. They don't turn mortal but they become fourth class darkas gods.
"What?" Emelinia gasped.
Chapter two - Why the other seers shouldn't find out.
Seers may decide to relinquish their powers and hence the class will go extinct.
"Would it really get to that extent?" Emelinia wondered.
Chapter three - How do the elders keep everything hidden?
The council of elders secretly kill the seers that have fed. Not one of them is spared in order to preserve the secret. Not even the royal family is allowed to know this secret.
Chapter four - What to do.
You have the choice Emelinia to decide your fate. Make use of this information the best way you can.
Dano
Emelinia was shocked with everything she had just read. She put the book into her bag and opened a portal to outside. She couldn't bear the thought of having to go through the pain of seeing the ruins of her home again. Emelinia found Shays looking down the road while eating a pepe fruit.
"Done?" He asked Emelinia with half a mouthful.
"Yes, thank you." She said to him.
"Okay great, let's get out of here."

Velna slowly opened her eyes to the new day. Her eyes widened in shock when they set upon Sharaina. They soon closed again when Sharaina punched her hard in the face and sent smashing into a rocky hill. Velna saw Sharaina running after her at supersonic speed with dragons violently chasing after her.
"Mistress!" Sharaina's dragons called after her as they flew behind the dragons pursuing Sharaina.
"Just make sure none of them interrupt my fight with Velna!" Sharaina screamed back at them.
The dragons caught up with the other dragons and fought tooth and nail with them. Velna charged at Sharaina and wrapped her quickly in her tail. She proceeded to electrocute Sharaina and hit her repeatedly onto the ground.
Velna held Sharaina up and laughed at her weakened state. She was about to eat Sharaina when Sharaina nearly kicked her under her jaw. Velna dropped Sharaina and backed away.
"I told you that I am not easy to kill." Sharaina reminded her and spit out blood. Her hair was fuzzy and smoke was coming out of it due to the bolts of electric shocks she had to endure.
"I am also not easily defeated. Before you were hundreds of warriors and most of them were worthier than you." Velna chuckled mockingly.
"What makes you deem me unworthy?" Sharaina asked her.
"I can smell milk on you therefore you are a mother of a small child. A woman who would leave her infant child and choose to risk her life is an embarrassment to motherhood."
"I don't have to explain my decisions to you. Like I told you earlier, a lot of people are depending on me. You have wasted enough of my time. It's time I ended this once and for all."
Sharaina charged toward Velna and she hit her electric tail on the ground sending shock waves at Sharaina. Sharaina lunged up into the air, back flipped and landed hard on Velna's head with a crack sound.
Velna gave a thunderous roar that shook the ground to the point of dropping Sharaina on one knee. Velna's eyes beamed bright white and she shot out lightening through them to Sharaina.
Sharaina ran away dodging them. She jumped high to a hill and kept on running. At the right moment she leaped down onto Velna's back and got hold of one of her fins.
Velna smashed her back against hills in order to wound Sharaina. One final hit knocked Sharaina out and she fell hard into the ground. An avalanche was created and the rocks buried Sharaina in the hole her fall created. Velna sniffed the rubble and laughed. She looked at the sun setting and said;
"Your second day is ov-" She fell on her back.
Sharaina's leg was sticking out from the rubble. She had kicked Velna under her jaw. Sharaina's dragons came and dug her out. She petted one and got up looking at Velna lying on the ground defeated. Sharaina placed her hands on her hips.
"Well, I guess there won't be need for day three." Sharaina mocked her.
Because Velna had fallen, the other dragons stopped attacking and silently watched Sharaina and Velna. Sharaina walked over to Velna and peeped at her.
"Just finish our pact." Velna told Sharaina, irritated that she lost.
"Now you're talking." Sharaina laughed.
Sharaina placed her hand on Velna's head and felt a hot electric sensation that burnt its way through her body. Her swords turned into mist and slammed back on her back as birthmarks.
Velna morphed into bright red light and got into Sharaina's left birthmark with a sharp sting. The thousands of dragons morphed into bright red lights and found their way into the right birthmark.
Sharaina's screamed in pain as they all got in. When she couldn't bear the pain anymore she got down on her fours. Her finger nails dug into the ground while she gnashed her teeth in pain. When the last dragon got in, all the pain went away. Sharaina got up and held her shoulder panting heavily. She looked up at the sky and smiled at her victory.

The rebels were having their supper when they heard the sound of a portal opening. Emelinia rushed out of her tent and yelled.
"She has returned!"
The rebels went over to the gigantic portal and nervously waited. When they saw Sharaina stepping out of it, they cheered loudly. Some of them even went as far and carrying her on their shoulders - taking her to the leaders' tent. All the rebel leaders came out and smiled at Sharaina chuckling with the rebels.
"My warriors, I have succeeded in attaining my dragon powers as you can see." She said to them and they cheered.
"What shall we do now?" Ouman asked her.
"We will sleep like babies tonight for tomorrow," Sharaina turned to the rebels once more. "WE ARE GOING TO WAR!"
Everyone cheered even louder. Some started shooting their guns in the air in their excitement. Sharaina jumped off the shoulders of the men carrying her and scowled at the shooters.
"Stop it you fools!" Her voice thundered and they became tensed. Sharaina's scowl turned into her mischievous grin. "Save your bullets for tomorrow!" She laughed and they cheered.
One of the men handed her a bottle of whisky. Sharaina was about to drink from it when Emelinia snatched it from her.
"You know better than to drink while you are breastfeeding." Emelinia scolded her.
"Can't I have at least one sip?" Sharaina pleaded. "I'm thirsty."
Emelinia shoved her water sack to Sharaina's chest. "Here."
"Emelinia it's like you just want to make my life difficult." Sharaina complained and felt Naraygeous's arm over her shoulder.
"Don't be so dramatic Sharaina." He laughed at her and pulled her cheek.
Sharaina playfully pushed him away. "Learn to mind your own business." She giggled. "Where is my honey bun?" Sharaina asked Emelinia.
"He is with my mother in your tent." Emelinia answered with a warm smile.
Sharaina greeted rebels cheerfully on her way to her tent. She excused herself and got into it. Channy handed Dawn to her as soon as she sat on her bed. Sharaina held him close to her chest and pulled out her swollen and painful breast. Dawn hungrily sucked and Sharaina chuckled at him.
"That's a good boy. Relieve your mama from all the soreness she felt because of being away from you. " Sharaina lovingly kissed his hand while her other hand firmly held a cloth in place in order to stop herself from leaking. She turned to Channy who was warmly smiling at them. "How are you mama?"
"I am alright child. I'm happy to see you back with us." Channy replied with a gentle twinkle in her soft eyes.
He is a precious little child. Velna said to Sharaina.
Oh yes he is. Sharaina answered her back telepathically because she didn't want Channy to feel out of place.
I am sorry for what I said about you. Now that I have seen your memories, I understand why you left him. Velna sincerely apologized.
Forget it, you didn't know any better. Sharaina assured Velna
Yes mistress.

King Meelzib sat alone on his throne the next night. The thunderous storm outside could not overshadow his thoughts. He was feeling rather restless to the point of losing his sleep and appetite.
He felt so out of place that the missing Infinite Medallion didn't bother him. All he wanted was one thing and one thing only - Sharaina's death. He spent months looking for her but it was like she vanished into thin air. He angrily threw his wine glass to the floor and it broke.
"KING MEELZIB!!!!" He suddenly heard and recognized the voice.
King Meelzib rushed out of the throne room and found the five members of the Enchanted Seven bowing at him. He rushed passed them and went to his terrace. They followed him there and stood still in the rain with their eyes set upon what attracted King Meelzib's attention.
Before them was an army far beyond their imagination. They stood outside the gates of the royal castle with their weapons. Their attention however was not on the army but on Sharaina. She stood tall and bold in her armor of silver and red cape.
Sevilon and Ouman stood on her right and left side respectfully. Along with them were Naraygeous, Zentz, Yolin, Diavinx and Ronitte. Lightning struck from behind them but they weren't bothered by it.
Emelinia looked at them in awe from another roof top. From her point of view, she saw Sharaina in royal robes and a crown on her head whereas the rest wore the black uniforms of commanders.
"Behold, Queen Sharaina and the next Enchanted Seven." She said to herself.
"WHO DARES CALL THE KING OF DARK STAR?!" King Meelzib thundered.
"SHARAINA LIGHT!" Sharaina answered and pointed her red sword at King Meelzib. "I AM HERE FOR THAT THRONE!"
