Chapter 94: Chapter 94

Emelinia silently walked to her tent after the meeting was over. She found Channy and Lakki chatting inside on their mattress. She said nothing to them and took off her shoes in order to lie down on her mattress. Channy noticed that Emelinia's spirit was lifted. She went over to her mattress and sat down beside her.

"I'm guessing that Sharaina has woken up." She softly said to Emelinia.

"Yes she has mama. Now all we have to do is break her out of there." Emelinia explained and ended with a yawn.

"That's great Emelinia." Channy smiled.

Lalina laid on the mattress in Naraygeous's tent. She was impatiently waiting for him to return from the meeting. She stared at the lamp hanging up in the tent and drifted away in thought worrying about her mother. She hadn't seen her since she escaped from the castle. She wanted to visit her secretly but Naraygeous advised her against it.

Lalina sat up and looked around the tent. It didn't have much in it except the mattress, bed covers and a few clothes for her and Naraygeous. Despite the lack of luxury the tent offered, Lavila was at the happiest point in her life.

She was with the man that she loved and he took care of her. Riches and luxury no longer mattered to her. She smiled at herself and threw herself back onto the bed. Lalina playfully tossed a pillow off the mattress and it landed at Naraygeous's feet when he got in.

"I can see that someone is in a good mood tonight." Naraygeous commented and joined her on the mattress. He took off his shirt and yawned.

"How can't I when I am with you." Lalina wrapped her arms around him from behind. "Your meeting took too long." She complained.

"Well, Sharaina has regained consciousness. We were plotting on how we are going to rescue her in two days time." Naraygeous cheerfully said.

Lalina let go of him and she hugged a pillow tensed. Naraygeous took notice of that and he raised his eyebrows at her. "Please don't tell me that you are still angry with her for what she did to your father."

Lalina shook her head. "No it is not that I assure you." She insisted but Naraygeous remained silent. He knew that she was still talking so he patiently waited for her to continue. "I am ashamed to face her." She confessed with a frown.

"I don't think she holds that against you." Naraygeous smiled at Lalina and cupped her face.

"I have come to accept fully that my father is a terrible person Naraygeous. He caused me physical and emotional pain. I still have nightmares of that day when he snatched our child from me. I don't think I will ever forgive him for that."

"Don't stress yourself thinking about him and as for Sharaina, you'll see, she will smile at you before you smile at her. One thing I know about Sharaina is that she forgives easily." Naraygeous adviced Lalina and she smiled. He got into the covers and pointed at the lamp. "Turn it off." He told her and she obliged. She got into the covers and cuddled him.

The day of Sharaina's banishment had arrived. People flocked to the castle in order to witness it. The poor came out of the holes they were hiding in in order to get a chance to see the Luna Beast. It was extremely rare for anyone to be sentenced to condemnation into the Dark Void because the worst of the worst criminals were sentenced to the Terror Hole.

Kings of the past avoided sentencing criminals to the Dark Void because it was risky. The Luna beast was very picky with its prisoners. If it wasn't pleased with the person offered to it, it would cause havoc and distraction to whoever has summoned it.

There was no telling of what it preferred for prisoners but rumor had it that it enjoyed taking powerful darkas gods. After what Sharaina did in her beast mode, King Meelzib was convinced that she was a worthy prisoner for the it.

For two days, Meelzib had dancers dance and sing praises to the Luna beast. This was to gets its attention. If it had decided to give its attention, a red moon would appear be it in the night or during the day. In that particular morning, the red moon appeared and King Meelzib was beyond pleased. Now all he had to do was to present Sharaina to it.

The rebels hid among the people trekking to go and see the Luna beast. Some of them hid on roof tops while some sneaked into the royal grounds in disguises. Among them were Naraygeous, Zentz and Yolin. Emelinia stood on a roof top with Sevilon and Ouman. Jemi and his men waited patiently for the signal which was to attack upon seeing Sharaina.

Six guards approached Sharaina's cell. The guard on duty stood up and gave them way. The leader of the group eyeballed Sharaina and ordered her to get up and face the wall. Sharaina slowly got up. To their surprise, instead of facing the wall, she started heading towards the door. Her bare feet were silent as they hit the floor but the shackles and chains at her feet clacked sending echoes throughout the cell.

"Stop it right there!" He yelled at her but she didn't.

Sharaina finally got to the door and placed her hands on the bars. Underneath her hands were bright red lights that astonished the guards and they got their weapons out.

Sharaina spent all night gathering gamarax in her hands. She pulled the bars and they broke like twigs. At that point a guard charged at her and she pulled her hands forward completely pulling the chains off the wall. She grabbed the guard's sword with her bare hand and kicked him hard in the stomach with her knee.

The other guards rushed into the cell and surrounded her. They attacked her left, right and center but she blocked their attacks and hit them. She pulled her leg hard and the chain the bounded her foot broke off the wall. The pull was so hard that it snapped it half. She threw a kick at two guards and the remaining chain on her leg slapped them to the walls.

One guard came at her and she lifted the other leg that was still bound. His spiky clubber broke the chain and Sharaina back flipped and kicked him under his chin. The remaining two guards looked at each other in panic. One chose to go and look for reinforcements while the other chose to stay and fight Sharaina.

He came at Sharaina with his sword but she skidded down on the floor and found herself out of her cell. She made a run for it as quickly as she could.

Sharaina found a staircase leading upstairs and ran up it. She heard the sound of guards coming towards her but didn't stop her momentum. She burst through them and some of them rolled downstairs. Sharaina kept running up the stairs as fast as she could.

She wanted to get off the next floor but she saw guards coming from her left and right so she chose to keep running up. The guards followed her behind and some of them threw daggers at her. One ripped through her sleeve and tore her flesh. Sharaina gnashed her teeth at the sudden sharp pain but continued running.

Before she knew it she was at the end of the staircase. The floor was perfectly lit because it was made of large windows. Sharaina saw the guards come at her and she ran faster than before.

She narrowed towards a window, protected her face with her hands and burst through it completely shattering it. The sound of the glass stunned everyone below and they watched Sharaina plummet 14 floors to the ground where she landed with an unbelievable thud that violently blew those nearby away. King Meelzib widened his eyes in shock. He glared at his guards with hot rage and yelled;

"Don't just stand there! Get her!"

The guards who were pursuing Sharaina landed on dragons whereas others landed on roof tops with their weapons out. Sharaina held the chains in her hands and swung them at the guards slapping them away from her. The moment the rebels set their eyes on her, they sounded their battle cry and went in with full force. The whole place became chaotic.

As Sharaina fought, Naraygeous, Zentz and Yolin landed beside her and protected her with their weapons. Sharaina smiled happily to see them there. She was, however, stunned to see that none of them were in their uniforms. Yolin took a look at Sharaina's chains and smirked.

"Nice chains," She complimented her with a wink. "But I like my whip better." Yolin laughed and swung her horse whip.

It stretched and grabbed one dragon by the neck. She slammed the dragon into another dragon and they collided into the castle. Naraygeous shook his head with a smile and hit guards that came after them.

Zentz summoned his dragon and flew towards Sharaina. Sharaina got hold of the dragon and hopped onto it. She sat at the back and swung her chains at the guards that were trying to get onto it.

Naraygeous and Yolin covered their escape and fought off as many guards as they could until Sharaina was finally off the royal grounds. At that point King Meelzib took off his royal robes and went after Sharaina on Umandaang. Sevilon and Ouman summoned their dragons and went after him. Umandaang halted in midair when he saw them.

"I should have known that you traitorous fools were going to be here." King Meelzib said to them and activated his sword.

"We can't let you get to her." Ouman boldly told him.

"I want to see how you will stop me." Meelzib cracked his neck.

Jemi and his men went charging into the castle taking down guards and been taken down as well. According to the plan Shays showed everyone earlier, Jemi knew that Diavinx was being kept in a cell in the underground dungeon opposite where Sharaina was being kept. Jemi skillfully fought off whoever came his way as he led his men deep into the dungeon hallways.

Diavinx sensed him coming for him and he smirked to himself alone in his cell. Jemi got to his door and he halted when he saw Diavinx wrapped in chains and hanging upside down in his cell with a blind fold. Jemi stepped aside and a warrior with a sword cut the bars open. He kicked the weakened door and they burst in.

Jemi threw his spear at the chain that hang on the roof and caught Diavinx before he hit the ground. He hastily took off Diavinx blind fold and smiled happily at him. Diavinx smiled back at Jemi and that made Jemi happier.

"What took you so long?" Diavinx asked him.

"We were waiting for a specific signal." Jemi explained. "Where is Boo?" He asked him.

"I'll take you to her but first get these chains off me."

As they flew, Sharaina caught sight of Emelinia on a rooftop and dropped tears of joy. She was so happy to see her that all she wanted was to jump off the dragon and hug her.

The sight of the guards approaching on their own dragons brought Sharaina back to reality. Zentz flew closer to Emelinia and she ran towards the dragon. He let his hand out to her while Sharaina fended off the guards with her chains.

Emelinia got hold of Zentz hand and pulled her up. She and Sharaina hugged each other bawling their eyes out happily. Zentz saw that more than fifty dragons were coming after them.

He commanded his dragon to open a portal and they flew right through it. When Sevilon and Ouman sensed that Sharaina was gone, they fought off King Meelzib with everything they had and escaped just in time. King Meelzib roared in frustration.

Diavinx led Jemi and his men to Boo's cell. Boo was elated to see them. They freed her from her chains and run out of the dungeon with her. Along the way out they rescued their other comrades.

When they were finally out in the open, other rebels that stayed behind helped them fight off the guards. Boo told everyone to go to her and she covered all of them in a gigantic bubble and took it up the sky. She then proceeded to teleport everyone out of the royal grounds.
