Chapter 65: Chapter 65
Light strolled through a lodge on a sunny Saturday morning. He was to meet up with Sharaina and her friends. He was invited to celebrate their happiness in passing their exams with them. Light was feeling especially happy for Sharaina. Her training with King Meelzib was going to give her a great start in the army.
Light finally arrived at the pool area. He saw Sharaina cheerfully leaving a table where Naraygeous, Zentz and Yolin sat.
Sharaina was in a red bikini whereas Yolin was in a white swimming costume. Naraygeous and Zentz, like Light, wore shorts and summer shirts.
As Light drew closer to the table, he took notice that Naraygeous looked troubled. He stopped in his tracks and watched Zentz put his hand over Naraygeous's shoulder while Naraygeous drank his beer. Light wondered what was going on.
"Have you considered that maybe it is just your pride and not love? I mean she is the first one to have ever rejected you. You are not used to rejection." Light heard Zentz say.
"You could be right man. It's just that I was only attracted to her sexually but now she has got me feeling some type of way and it is confusing me." Naraygeous answered with a sigh and Light grew even more curious about who he was talking about.
"Better you put those feelings to rest. She is already happy with someone else. Sharaina will never be yours. The sooner you accept this the easier your life will be." Zentz advised him and Light was stupefied.
Naraygeous laughed. "Yes I know that. He has a firm grip on her. There's no chance of him letting go so that I try my luck." He complained and Light scowled at him.
"Consider giving Lalina a try. She really likes you." Yolin suggested with a shrug.
Naraygeous laughed harder. "Yolin, Lalina won't be enough for me to forget Sharaina."
Light stood completely appalled. He felt so angry that he wanted to leave before any of them saw him. He was about to turn when he felt hands hold him from behind. He looked over his shoulder and saw Sharaina smiling excitedly at him.
She merrily pulled him towards the table. Everyone greeted him and he gave them a fake smile. Light locked eyes with Yolin and she slowly nodded her head in greeting to him. The both of them felt a little awkward.
Sharaina sat next to Light but she didn't notice that she was actually closer to Naraygeous. Naraygeous noticed this when all the ladies at the bar avoided him.
It didn't take long for him to realize that they thought that Sharaina was his girlfriend. Naraygeous spotted a beautiful girl walk in. She smiled at him and waved her eyebrows in a flirty way. Naraygeous gestured at her to go over there but she shook her head and pointed at Sharaina.
"Yo Sharaina, move over." Naraygeous told her.
Sharaina was puzzled by his sudden request. "What, why should I?" She asked him.
"The ladies are thinking that you are my girlfriend. Move your ass." Naraygeous said to her.
"I am not moving. It serves you right that none of them are coming your way." Sharaina answered with a smirk and drank her beer.
"Maybe you should just move." Light firmly told Sharaina.
"Thank you so much Light. At least you agree with me." Naraygeous laughed but Light didn't laugh back. "Move over Sharaina. I want that one to come here and she won't unless you move." Naraygeous stressed.
Sharaina moved to Naraygeous' pleasure. He called the girl over again and this time she agreed. She walked seductively towards the table - swaying her child bearing hips side to side. She stood close to Naraygeous and held her waist. Her heavy perfume was smelt by everyone and it made Zentz and Yolin sneeze. Naraygeous was about to hold her hand when Sharaina cleared her throat.
"What exactly do you want with my boyfriend?" Sharaina asked her with seriousness.
The girl became nervous. "I was under the impression that he wasn't." She said.
"Clearly you were wrong." Sharaina curtly answered and she promptly walked away, humiliated.
"Sharaina you idiot! She was the hottest one I could get my hands on. Why did you have to ruin things for me?" Naraygeous whined while everyone except Light laughed.
"This is what you get for being a womanizer Naraygeous." Yolin said in between her laughs.
Light got up without excusing himself and dashed away from the table. Sharaina sensed that something was off and she went after him. He was walking so fast that she had to run after him.
"Light!" Sharaina called out but he kept going.
She was taken aback to see him go out through the exit. She followed him out and quickly caught up with him.
"What is going on with you Light?" She asked him.
"What do you take me for Sharaina?" Light asked her back, annoyed.
"I'm not sure I understand what you mean." Sharaina softly answered.
"Why did you have to disrespect me like that?" Light asked her again.
"Light you know I didn't mean it. Naraygeous is a dumb ass. He picks on me all the time so I couldn't resist getting even with him." Sharaina explained herself, maintaining the softness in her voice.
"I don't care. I don't want you doing that to me again do you hear me?" Light angrily told her.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me. I didn't mean to hurt you." Sharaina held Light's hand. "I won't do that again I promise."
"I want to leave. Will you come with me?" He asked her. There was no way he was going to go back in there and sit on the same table with Naraygeous.
"I'll come with you. Let me just change and say bye to everyone then we can go." Sharaina answered.
"No, you change and come back here immediately." Light coldly answered.
Sharaina was hurt by his attitude. "What is with you? You aren't like this."
"And that's why you have taken me for granted. If you want to stay here and party with your friends that's fine so just say it."
"I'll be back soon." Sharaina uttered in defeat.
She quickly went into the changing room and put on her dress and slippers. Sharaina sadly looked in the mirror as she thought about Light's anger towards her.
Sharaina heard a sniffle and she looked back at a cube. She got alarmed when a soft but squeaky cry followed.
The door suddenly opened and Sharaina was puzzled to see Lalina walking out. She looked back at Sharaina with swollen and puffy eyes.
"Lalina, what's wrong." Sharaina took a step closer but Lalina held her hand up. Sharaina took a daring step forward."What happened to y-"
"Don't act like you care because we both know you don't. This pain I'm feeling is all your fault." Lalina roughly brushed against Sharaina's shoulder and exited the room.
Sharaina remained feeling dejected. She couldn't understand Lalina's words. Over time she had gotten used to her rude and disrespectful attitude towards her but now it was different. There was serious emotion behind Lalina's words.
Sharaina slowly walked out of the room and made her way out of the lodge to where she left Light. She was met with a scowl.
"What took you so long?" He asked her, the harshness behind his voice was shattering.
"Um- I, well -" Sharaina couldn't find the right words.
"Forget it." Light admonished
He lifted his hand up and a carriage parked beside them. The two got into it and it rode down the road. They rode in silence the whole way until the carriage stopped at a hotel.
Sharaina wondered why Light brought her to a hotel and not his apartment. He got out of the carriage after paying the rider and helped Sharaina out of it.
She quietly followed him into the hotel and immediately felt out of place in it. The hotel was so prestigious looking with expensive décor. It had exquisite and complex looking chandeliers. The floor was covered by shiny tiles and the furniture was of the highest quality. The people moving about were dressed in elegant robs and precious jewelry.
The receptionist knew who Light was and she gave him a key with a wide smile on her face. She turned her attention to Sharaina and scanned her from head to toe. She shook her head in disappointment at Sharaina's simple dress. This only made Sharaina feel even more uncomfortable.
"Sir Light, is this young lady with you?" She asked. "She seems lost."
Light looked sharply at the receptionist. "How is it possible for someone her age to get lost at a reception booth?" He harshly asked her with one brow up and eyes as cold as ice.
"Please pardon me sir. I was just asking out of concern. We have received complaints of women harassing guests." She defended herself.
"Start minding your own business." He warned her.
"I'm sorry sir. Please disregard my previous comments concerning your lady."
"Let's go." Light coldly said to Sharaina.
Light looked back at the receptionist annoyed and walked away. Sharaina tucked her lips and followed him. The receptionist shrugged her shoulders and sat back down with stretched lips.
Light led Sharaina to a deluxe room. It was the most beautiful room she had ever seen in her entire life. The bed was round and adorned in snow white beddings. There was a large window with an amazing terrace view. On the glass table was a wine bottle, two glasses and a bowl of strawberries. Sharaina picked one before sitting down on the bed.
Light took off his shirt and walked into the bath room. Sharaina remained still looking at the room in awe. She knew that Light was rich but she didn't imagine that was rich enough to stay in such a fancy hotel.
Light came out of the bathroom and lied down on the bed. Sharaina could see that he was still upset with her. She made her way on top of him and looked down at him with sad eyes and a pout. Light sat up and gazed into her eyes. Sharaina moved closer to kiss him but he looked away. The memory of Naraygeous confessing his feelings angered him.
"Why do I have the feeling that there's more that is angering you. What else have I done?" Sharaina cupped his face.
"Forget it." Light said and threw her off him.
Sharaina frowned at his bare back. "Maybe I should just go. It's like me being around you is making you upset."
Sharaina picked up her slippers and headed for the door. She turned the door knob when Light placed his hand on the door. She turned to him and the two locked eyes. Without breaking eye contact Light took her slippers away from her. Sharaina silently watched him put them in the ward robe. He came back with a rose in his hand and put it to her nose.
"Stay here with me. I'm sorry for snapping at you." He warmly said to her. "I allowed my jealously to get the best out of me."
"You know that I can never betray you Light." Sharaina said.
"I trust you." Light smiled at her and turned away. "It is him I don't trust." he added.
Sharaina was baffled by that. "Naraygeous is a flirt but he means no harm." she tried to reason with Light.
"Let us drop this. I'll end up losing my temper again." Light warned her. "You passed with flying colors. We are supposed to be celebrating your success. We have this room to ourselves today."
Sharaina walked away from the door and sat back on the bed. "Light I know that your family is wealthy but I didn't imagine that you were this wealthy. This room is insane."
"We invested in six different hotels. This happens to be one of them. I have access to deluxe rooms in these hotels. All my family members do." Light answered with a yawn. "Come sit here close to me. You are too far away." Light held out his hands and Sharaina crawled to him.

Farali grabbed Tamithra by the hand and shoved her out of her house. Tamithra angrily glared at her as the servants brought out her bags. Liss looked on in silence. She refused to involve herself in this matter.
"Leave my house. I am tired of facing embarrassments because of you." Farali furiously pointed at Tamithra.
Tamithra scoffed. "What was wrong with me taking food to Naian?"
"Everything!" Farali exploded. "Have you forgotten about the restraining order against you? You are lucky Naian listened to me about not pressing charges. Leave my house now."
"Fine, whatever."
Tamithra got into a carriage and it raced off. Farali was still glaring at it when she saw another carriage come towards her house. The rider got off and opened the door.
A gamarax manipulator stepped out of it and following him out was another man. He protected his eyes from the sun and then set his eyes on Farali who was in shock. Liss stepped out of the house and screamed.
"Mama is that really papa?" Liss asked her mother who said nothing but stare at her husband.
Two nurses helped him inside the house. The gamarax manipulator pulled Farali and Liss aside. "He woke up a week ago. As you know, due to his prolonged hibernation, his memory will take some time to return. Do not push him. Keeping him with you in a familiar environment will naturally jog his memory and things will go back to the way they used to." He explained to them.
"Thank you so much for bringing him back to us." Farali wiped her tears.

King Meelzib stood shirtless and bare foot on the royal training square that consisted of a stage made entirely of concrete. The Enchanted Seven sat comfortably in a shade above the stage.
Sevilon and Ouman were feeling restless. They anxiously waited for Sharaina. Before going there, they had agreed to do everything they could to get her out of there even if it meant exposing themselves as traitors. Sevilon hoped that it wasn't going to have to come to that. He hoped that Emelinia succeeded in whatever she planned on doing.
Captain Shrave appeared with Sharaina walking behind him. Sevilon held his breath but when he caught sight of Sharaina, he felt so relieved.
Ouman looked at him with excited eyes. Sharaina tucked her dark hair behind her ear. King Meelzib looked at Sharaina and slumped his shoulders in disappointment that she wasn't the golden haired maiden he had been looking for. She bowed down to him alongside Captain Shrave.
"Emelinia your quick thinking has solved a big problem and gained us an advantage. Sharaina will get even stronger after training with King Meelzib. King Meelzib has no idea that he is helping his greatest enemy get stronger." Sevilon thought to himself.
FLASHBACK BEGINS
Emelinia woke up in the middle of the night. She quietly got out of bed and dressed up. She picked up her hand bag and took one last look at Naian.
Emelinia quietly opened up a portal and stepped into a room. She caught off guard when she saw Sharaina's naked back wrapped in Light's arm. Her face was buried in Light's bare chest. Only a white bed sheet covered them from the waist down. The both of them were fast asleep.
Emelinia felt shy to see them like that and she turned away. Her face was red with embarrassment as she made her way to the bathroom.
She opened the door and found a shampoo bottle. To her relief, it matched the one her instincts told her to buy at the market. Emelinia pulled out the identical bottle out of her bag and switched the shampoo bottles. The one she placed on the sink was filled with black dye.
Emelinia opened another portal in the bathroom and returned home. She refused to go back and see Light and Sharaina again in their private and intimate moment.
FLASHBACK ENDS
"That hotel better have the dye remover quick. I feel so out of place like this." Sharaina quietly said to herself.
"My King, she is Sharaina Sharumez - the star pupil of the year." Captain Shrave introduced her.
"I see," King Meelzib said. "Come up here." He ordered Sharaina.
"Be sure to do everything he says." Captain Shrave told her and she nodded her head. "I am so proud of you." Captain Shrave smiled at Sharaina for the first time. Sharaina smiled back at him and bowed her head. Captain Shrave patted her head and left.
Sharaina got up the stage and bowed on one knee to King Meelzib. He looked at her closely and turned to the Enchanted Seven. "I wasn't expecting a beauty queen." He said to them and some of them laughed. "Okay little girl, let's see what you can do."
