Chapter 62: Chapter 62
In a hilly and vast green land dwelled the infamous Vexar reptiles. The hills were covered with simple white houses which had grass roofs. Beneath the hills ran a beautiful blue sparkly river that housed fish that the Vexar reptiles depended on solely for food.
The reptiles wore only cream white robes on their green and scaly bodies. Some could be seen tapping their orange pointy horns with each other as a sign of greeting. Others were sitting down in circles as they ate and chatted. The little ones played with each other by slapping a ball to each other with the use of their three tails.
The realm of the vexar reptiles was not called Green because of its plenty vegetation but because of the green crystals that were abundant in the realm.
The crystals were known as manite. They were more precious than diamonds because they were the power source of all magic. No magic could be performed without the presence of manite. Because Green was the home of manite crystals, a good number of vexar reptiles were gifted wizards in the art of magic.
Suddenly, portals appeared all over the land and the reptiles got tensed. They picked up their spears and swords. To their horror, they saw darkas gods stepping out of the portals. Before they could comprehend what was happening, several other portals opened and more darkas gods stepped out of them. The darkas army began to attack them - mercilessly slaughtering them.
They summoned their dragons and they breathed fire on the houses burning and destroying everything. Screams and cries could be heard across the land.
The wizards sprung into action. They used their magic to control the water in the river. With their combined magic, they created waves that put out some of the flames.
Others floated in the air with the help of the wind and fought off the darkas gods. They employed mystic fire balls but they were nothing compared to dragon fire. The wizards were soon over powered and murdered.
The King of the Green came out of his royal palace and was astonished with what he saw. His whole kingdom was in flames and his people laid dead on the ground. He wondered why the darkas gods had invaded his Kingdom. His queen held their prince and princess in her arms as she looked on in horror at the army before them.
One last portal opened and King Meelzib and Luven stepped out of it. Meelzib breathed in the smoke that polluted the air and he smiled evilly. This disgusted the King and terrified the Queen.
"King Meelzib! What is all this?" He asked, outraged.
"Greetings King Malov Chalov. As you can see I do not come in peace." Meelzib proudly answered. "My father respected your selfish decision to keep all the manite for yourselves. He also decided to let you be." Meelzib continued and lit his cigar. "I am here to correct his mistake."
"If it is manite that you want, you can take as much as you want. Just stop killing my people." King Malov Chalov scowled.
King Meelzib lunged up and landed on King Malov Chalov's terrace. With the back of his hand, he slapped him hard into a wall. The queen ran after him and she held him in her hands. The prince and princess hugged each other and whimpered in fear. King Malov Chalov got up to his knees and his wife held his chest.
"If you think that I am only here for the manite then you are mistaken." Meelzib's face turned dark.
"What do you want?" Malov Chalov asked in between his coughs. His chest felt rigid and stiff.
"I want your entire kingdom. Give up your throne and bow down before me. Only then will I spare you and your people." King Meelzib said and his words hit the king hard.
"That right is only reserved for my son!" He exclaimed.
King Meelzib focused his gamarax on the little prince and lifted him up in the air. The little prince began to cry and this made his mother cry loudly. Meelzib twitched his fingers and the prince started choking. His fingers drew closer to each other and the prince's started to shake violently in midair.
Seeing this, King Malov Chalov took off his crown and tossed it aside. He then threw himself at the feet of King Meelzib. The queen took off her own crown and did the same. All the servants at the palace bowed down to King Meelzib.
"Oh great King of Dark Star, consider myself and the kingdom at large to be your servants. Please have mercy on us and spare our lives. Allow us to live so that we can serve you for as long as we live." King Malov Chalov pleaded.
King Meelzib threw his head back and laughed evilly. "You have made a wise decision." He cut his hold on the prince and he fell hard to the ground. King Meelzib turned to Luven. "Let it be known that Green now belongs to Dark Star."

It was finally night time in Gemhules. Akirexer insisted that Channy stayed with them for a few days instead of leaving for Vanimaq at night. Channy agreed to stay but only for two days. She found no problems in falling asleep in the room that was given to Emelinia the first night she spent there.
Emelinia changed into her night dress after her bath. She was drying her hair when she saw the worried look on Naian. She joined him on the bed and held his hand. Naian looked at her and he saw her concern. Naian sighed and said;
"Emelinia Janala suddenly stopped coming for work and we don't know why."
"Is she unwell? Perhaps she got bitten by a goo goo. It's goo goo season." Emelinia said.
"No I think something else happened to her. If she was down with a fever, she would have found a way to let us know. Janala is a hard worker. She can't miss work any how."
Emelinia held her chin. "I think I know of a way we can know how to find out what happened to her." She said. "Dano visited me last night and he exposed me to a past visiting technique. I read about it this morning before we left Vanimaq. I haven't tried it yet but I guess now is the time." She explained and got up.
Emelinia remembered that in order to go to the past, she had to think of a specific time period. "When did you last see her?" She asked Naian.
"I last saw her around 17:30hrs three days ago." He answered.
"Okay. Got it. I will be back soon." Emelinia said.
Naian watched her draw a portal circle and get into it. Emelinia stepped into the work shop. She immediately saw Janala working. She watched her work for a while before she finally packed her tools. Emelinia watched her leave the shop and close the door behind her. Emelinia walked through the wall like a ghost and looked at Janala lock the door.
Emelinia walked beside Janala in the rain. To her expectations, she didn't feel the rain. It just went through her like she didn't exist.
Emelinia sensed a shift in Janala's mood. She observed how alert she was as she walked. Janala looked over her shoulder and quickened her steps.
Janala spotted some masked men in the shadows and she started to run. Emelinia ran with her. A man suddenly jumped in front of them and punched Janala in the face.
Emelinia got a clear look at him. He wore a black cloak and black tights. Covering his face was a red mask with rectangular eye openings. Four more men landed around Janala. Emelinia looked on afraid for Janala.
Janala wiped her bloody nose and got back to her feet. She took her boxing stance and eyed the men. They charged at her and she fought back. Emelinia held on to her heart - watching everything hoping that Janala makes it.
Janala fought a good fight but she was knocked out by a blow under her chin. The skilled assailants were just too much for her. One of them put her over his shoulder and another opened a portal.
Emelinia followed them into the portal and ended up in a huge dungeon. She was puzzled as to why Janala would be brought to a dungeon.
"Did she commit some horrible crime?" She feared.
When she looked around and saw several other blonde girls, Emelinia began to think otherwise. They were afraid and crying bitterly. Janala slowly opened her eyes and became horrified to see where she was. She suddenly saw King Meelzib enter the room with the council of elders.
"Is she amongst these?" King Meelzib asked The Council of Elders.
"No she isn't." They answered.
King Meelzib grabbed one and shook him. "You better not be lying to me!" He roared and he screamed.
"Please, your majesty, we would never." The others begged.
"What do we do?" Luven asked Meelzib.
"Torch them all. We can't release them to the outside world."
Emelinia gasped and painfully looked at Janala. A dragon was summoned. The girls were mercilessly set ablaze. They screamed with everything they had but it was of no use.
Janala was completely covered in flames and Emelinia cried for her. She helplessly watched her run to one to one of the masked warriors and he stabbed her with his sword.
Janala fell back and more fire was breathed on her. It roasted her skin and cracked her bones. Not being able to bear the sight any more, Emelinia opened a portal back to the present and threw herself in Naian's arms.
Naian lifted her to the bed and gently laid her on it. He wiped her tears and impatiently waited for her to tell him what she saw. Emelinia looked at Naian with anguish. She couldn't find the right words to tell Naian what she saw.
She thought about the other blonde girls that were in the dungeon. All of them were tall, blonde and between the ages of 74 and 80. She thought about the two women that were crying about their missing daughters in Vanimaq.
Both girls were 78 year old warriors and were tall with golden hair.
Emelinia thought about her dreams and visions concerning Sharaina. Then it hit her!
King Meelzib is looking for Sharaina because she is to be the one to take the throne away from him. Sharaina is truly going to be the supreme ruler of Dark Star. Her eyes stretched wide at her realization.
Everything started to make sense. She now realized that the huge responsibility Dano was telling her about was to protect Sharaina from Meelzib so that the prophecy comes to pass.
Emelinia looked at Naian in the eye and saw that he was worried sick. She wasn't sure about whether to tell him about Sharaina. She remembered how he didn't believe that she would be queen one day so instead she decided to hold that part from him for now and tell him soon in the future.
"What did you see?" Naian asked her.
"Janala is dead Naian. She was kidnapped and killed." She said to him and he was astonished.
"Oh no I shouldn't have allowed her to stay and work at the shop." Naian blamed himself.
"Do not blame yourself. It isn't your fault." Emelinia comforted him.
"Poor Janala." Naian said in grief and Emelinia hugged him for comfort.
****
Emelinia woke up in the middle of the night. She couldn't sleep because all she thought about was Sharaina's future. She looked at Naian sleeping soundly. She remembered how difficult it was for him to sleep earlier because of Janala's death. She hoped not to wake him up and turned away from him and to face the other side.
Her eyes suddenly met Dano's eyes and she nearly let out a scream when he quickly placed his hand on her mouth. Emelinia was completely shocked to see him kneeling there in her room in the middle of the night despite her husband sleeping next to her. Dano smiled at her and took his hand off her mouth. He then proceeded to walk out the door.
Emelinia quietly got out of bed and followed him out. She heard noise in the kitchen and so she went there. She was taken aback to see him eating the leftovers in the bowls. Emelinia pulled a chair and sat down.
"I'm sorry for budging in like this." Dano said.
"Let us just establish that bedrooms are off limits. I mean that is my matrimonial bed room." Emelinia reminded him.
"Oh don't worry. I assure you that it won't happen again. I just got so excited that you finally know what your task is."
"It is too big of a task. Look at me, I am only a seer and an inexperienced one at that. I am also with child. How can I possibly protect her?" Emelinia said with a frown.
"Do not underestimate yourself child." Dano disagreed.
"Need I remind you that protecting her means going up against King Meelzib?" She rested her chin on her palm.
Dano laughed softly and swallowed the food. "Don't worry, more people sharing your cause will join you." He said but his words didn't lift Emelinia's spirit. "You have two allies. They have been looking for Sharaina for quite some time now but their search has been fruitless."
"What, who are they?" Emelinia asked and sat up.
"Commander Sevilon and Commander Ouman of the Enchanted Seven. They desperately want to find Sharaina so that they can protect her from King Meelzib. King Raglan asked them to protect her." Dano explained.
"I must see them soon. But how though, reserving a meeting with them is difficult because they are so busy." She expressed her concern.
"Don't worry I already did that for you last month. Tomorrow you are to see Commander Sevilon at 14:00hrs." Dano said with a smile.
"You are so amazing Dano." Emelinia said with admiration.
"Oh don't flatter me or else I will get too proud." Dano laughed. "Just be sure to get there on time. Rescheduling another meeting may take two to five months."
"Alright."

One hot afternoon on Earth in a country known as Zambia, four guards were playing cards under the shade of a baobab tree. They were laughing, insulting and thumping each other.
Vice commander Holan saw them from a far and scowled at them. He hurried towards them and sent their table flying with one kick. They all stood up and bowed at him.
"You have some nerve to act like fools in these premises." He sternly said to them. "Get back to work or you will be fired." He ordered them and they promptly left.
Vice commander Holan was not only famous for being Lavila's brother but also for being a narcissistic, misogynist, arrogant, pompous, fault finding and egocentric maniac. Whenever people saw him approaching, they would scamper away or become completely still until he left their sight.
Vice commander Holan was on his usual antics when he scolded everyone he found in the hallways be it they were employees or people seeking help. He headed for Sevilon's office when he saw Emelinia waiting in the reception. He immediately hid and watched the receptionist tell her that she could see Sevilon. Emelinia weakly got up and got into the office.
She found Commander Sevilon writing. With his pen, he pointed at the chair before him and she slowly sat down. Emelinia looked at his bottled water longingly. She was feeling so perched that it hurt her throat. She had no idea that Africa was a hot continent. Commander Sevilon looked up at her when he was done writing and saw that her eyes were fixed on his bottle.
"You may help yourself." He permitted her.
"Thank you very much." Emelinia said and she chugged the water.
"How may I help you?" Sevilon asked her.
"I'm sorry commander but your question should be how can we help each other protect the future queen." Emelinia said and Sevilon got off his seat.
****
Vice commander Holan went over to the receptionist. "Why is that woman here to see the commander?" he asked her.
"She didn't give me that information sir." She nervously answered.
"What an incompetent woman you are. How can you let someone in his office without asking what they're intentions are. Useless." He hatefully said and she shuddered.
Holan proceeded to go into Sevilon's office without knocking. Emelinia locked eyes with him. She soon turned away uninterested.
Sevilon looked at Holan not surprised. He had the habit of barging into his office.
"Is there a problem?" Sevilon asked him.
"Er, no, commander. I'm just in need of the files I asked you to sign yesterday." Holan calmly said with a smile that didn't touch his eyes. He stole looks at Emelinia while trying his best to act normal.
Sevilon pulled out two files and handed them to Holan. "If you would please excuse us."
"Of course."
Holan turned back only to scowl to himself. He closed the door behind him and Sevilon sat back down.
"Did you say future queen?" He asked Emelinia.
"Yes I did. I know that you and commander Ouman are looking for her. I too share your cause. I know who she is and I can tell you where she is." Emelinia repeated herself.
"How do you know her?" Sevilon suspiciously asked her.
"She is my sister in law." Emelinia quickly answered.
Sevilon leaned closer. "How did you come to know that she is to be queen and that we are looking for her?"
Emelinia lifted the hair covering her birthmark. "That's how I came to know." She sat back and crossed her legs. "I also know that in thirty seconds, commander Ouman is going to knock on your door." Emelinia continued.
Sevilon was still processing what she said when he heard the knock on the door. He reluctantly told the person knocking to go in and he was surprised to see Ouman at the door. Ouman closed the door and offered himself a seat.
"You saw her didn't you?" Emelinia asked Ouman.
Ouman raised his brow and shot a stunned look at Sevilon. "What is she talking about?" He asked him.
"She is talking about the future queen." Sevilon answered.
Ouman was astonished. "What?"
"I told commander Sevilon that I know who she is and where she is." Emelinia said to Ouman. "She is my sister in law." Emelinia repeated again.
"Wait a minute why should we trust you?" Ouman asked her.
"I am a seer who so happens to be related to the future queen. Her name is Sharaina Sharumez by the way." Emelinia smiled at them. "She is like sister I never had. So you see, I need all the help I can get in order to protect her."
"Take us to her." Sevilon said to Emelinia. "If it so happens that Ouman doesn't recognize her, I will kill you myself for wasting our time."
"Okay but I need to use the bathroom first." Emelinia said.
Emelinia walked out of the office and found her way to the toilet. When she was done she got out and found herself face to face with Holan. She turned to walk away from him but he roughly held her hand and forced her to look at him. Emelinia saw the anger in his unkind eyes. She returned it with a scowl of her own.
"What are you doing here?" He asked Emelinia almost in a growl.
"Are you afraid that I will call you papa in front of all these people?" Emelinia asked him back and his eyes looked around to see if anyone was listening to them. "Don't worry vice commander Holan. You yourself said that you and I aren't related. Just as you have one daughter, I also only have one father and he is my father in law. Excuse me." Emelinia coldly said and tried to pull her hand away. "Let go of me or else I will be forced to scream."
Upon hearing this, Holan let go of her and she walked away without looking back. He watched her join the two commanders and leave with them.
He was intrigued by her confidence. Not once had she ever spoken to him like that before. She always appeared to be timid the times he went to fight with Channy but now he couldn't even recognize her.
"It's good that she didn't come here to tell Sevilon that I am her father." He buttoned his jacket and walked away.
Lalina stood in the hallway with her hand covering her mouth. She heard everything Emelinia said Holan. All this time she thought that she was his only child but it turned out that she had an illegitimate sister.
She felt heartbroken that her father cheated on her mother. She left the premises without seeing him. She was no longer in the mood to see him.

Sharaina was teaching Alainara some dance moves because she entered a dancing competition and needed some pointers from her. Sharaina won a lot of dancing competitions in junior high and high school.
She took up after Akirexer who was an excellent dancer during her time. Light watched both of them dance and he was amazed with Sharaina's dance moves and how Alainara was picking up quick.
Watching from a far was Sevilon and Ouman. "Sevilon, that's her." Ouman excitedly pointed.
"Thank you for telling us about who she is. We are looking forward to working with you." Sevilon gladly said to Emelinia.
"It will be an honor to work with the both of you for the good of our Kingdom." Emelinia said with a soft nod.
