Emelinia looked at the comprising position of Naian and Tamithra - her eyes reeling in sheer shock. The reality set in and her tears threatened to fall. Naian pushed Tamithra away and went over to Emelinia only to be met with a tight slap in the face. Tamithra grinned evilly at the soothing sound of it.

"Emelinia it is not what it looks like." Naian tried to explain, ignoring the stinging pain on his red cheek.

"Stop lying to her Naian. She deserves to know the truth." Tamithra wiped her tears. She held her hips and looked at Emelinia from head to toe. "I am and always will be Naian's love. We have loved each other for seven years." She pompously said.

"Tamithra shut up!" Naian furiously admonished but Tamithra scoffed with a smirk.

"My love, you know that you can never truly love this seer. Stop trying to use her to get over me just because I neglected you. It will not work out and you know that."

"Tamithra I am warning you -" Naian raised his finger.

"What will you do, break my heart more than you already have by purposely trying to make me jealous by acting like you love this seer? Stop the drama already. We all know that you married her out of pity." Tamithra laughed wickedly.

"Bullshit! What the hell, can you even hear yourself? You haven't changed one bit. You're still the same liar you were..." Naian pointed at Tamithra.

"Now that she has seen the truth you are claiming that I'm lying?" Tamithra shook her head.

"That's enough!" Emelinia screamed. She turned to Naian. "So you and her are lovers?" she asked him with tears in her eyes.

"No, she is my ex." Naian said softly to her. "I was with her years before I met you."

"You didn't feel the need to tell me this? Why Naian? Was it her lipstick that you had on your shirt that night?" Emelinia asked him

"Emelinia are you seriously doubting me?" Naian asked her in disbelief.

"What I'm I supposed to think Naian? I have found you alone and shirtless in the arms of another woman! I have heard her confess her love to you and you say nothing to her! I have also just discovered that you two used to have an affair with each other! You did not bother to tell me this but instead you only told me that she is Liss's cousin!"

"Emelinia please you are misunderstanding things again." Naian tried but Emelinia slapped him again.

"He is all yours." Emelinia said to Tamithra. "I was foolish to think that a man would ever love me." She ran out of the shop.

Naian tried to go after her but Tamithra held his hand. He roughly removed her hand away from him and rushed after Emelinia. He watched her get into a portal she had opened. Naian borrowed a man's horse and he went after her. Tamithra remained giggling to herself.

"Poor Emelinia, falling in love with my man was the biggest mistake you ever made."

Emelinia stepped out of the portal and went straight into the house. She completely ignored Akirexer and Alainara in the living room and ran upstairs. She pulled out a suitcase and she packed her clothes in it.

Akirexer and Alainara were astonished to see her furiously go down the stairs with a loaded suitcase. They were completely taken aback by her tears. Naian arrived and he was shattered to see Emelinia with a suitcase.

"Emelinia what are you doing?" he asked her.

"I am getting out of the way of you and Tamithra's love." Emelinia furiously answered.

Akirexer gasped and covered her mouth. "Tamithra? Naian what is going on here?" she asked him confused.

"Mama it is all a misunderstanding." Naian said.

"I caught him red handed with Tamithra." Emelinia cried. "I was so foolish to believe that you cared about me Naian. I was so happy when I thought that you loved me but it was all a lie." Emelinia wiped her tears.

"Emelinia please listen to me. Nothing that Tamithra said is true." he reached out for her suitcase but she held it away from him with a daring scowl.

"I don't want to hear anything you have to say. What I saw was enough to know that you are a liar and a hypocrite."

"Emelinia please..." Naian put his hands together.

"Give me transport money." She sniffed and let out her hand at Naian.

"Emelinia please come down. Let us talk about this." Akirexer desperately begged her.

"I said give me transport money!" Emelinia screamed at Naian but he just painfully looked at her. Emelinia turned to Akirexer. "Mama, give me transport money. Your son has betrayed me so I cannot continue to live in this house. I want to go home to my mother." she wiped her tears with her arm.

Akirexer felt so helpless. She took out money from her apron and gave it to her. Emelinia bowed respectfully at her, scowled at Naian and left the house ---banging the door behind her.

Naian sat down and held his head with both his hands in distraught. Akirexer angrily looked at him with her hands folded.

"Go to your room Alainara." she ordered and Alainara obeyed, not daring to protest.

"What is going on between you and Tamithra?" Akirexer asked Naian.

"Nothing is going on between us mama. Emelinia caught her hugging me and she-" Naian stopped speaking when he saw the fire in Akirexer's eyes.

"Why would you allow another woman who isn't your sister to get close to you? That was by far the most foolish thing you have ever done Naian. I raised you to be better than this. The other night you returned home with a lip stick stain. Your father and I believed that it was all just a misunderstanding but now you have been caught red handed! Naian how could you be so inconsiderate?"

"Mama please I haven't done anything wrong. If you don't believe me, who will?" Naian pleaded with Akirexer.

"We will continue this conversation when your father returns home." Akirexer said and angrily left the room.

Sharaina sat in the plain fields with all the other students. Captain Shrave stood bold and tall before them with his hands behind his back. Mrs Plurinsia smiled and waved at the students.

"I congratulate you on your first successful feeding. It's unfortunate that nearly half of you went insane and had to be forced into hibernation due to binge feeding on vampires but no matter." he waved his hand dismissively. "Now that you have finally fed on vampires, it is time for a crucial part of your training!" Captain Shrave's deep and authoritative voice roared. "You are to look deep within yourselves and find your weapons."

"Good luck everyone!" Mrs Plurinsia waved enthusiastically at the crowd of students.

Many of the students were feeling excited because they felt so charged. Feeding was the best experience that had ever had.

Sharaina on the other hand, felt no difference. She couldn't deny that feeding on the vampires she caught was exhilarating but she felt no difference in her gamarax levels. She couldn't understand why but wasn't open enough to talk about it with Naraygeous and Zentz.

"Take your positions!" Captain Shrave's command cut her thoughts.

The students got down to the grass and folded their legs. They closed their eyes and put their hands together---each concentrating on their inner selves.

"Remember to remain silent even when you successfully attain your weapons. Anyone who will make noise will receive a stiff punishment for disturbing the concentration of others." Captain Shrave warned.

Sharaina breathed slowly as she concentrated her gamarax on her dragon mark. With her eyes closed, she saw a sword. It was a beautiful decorated sword with sky blue rubies on the handle.

Sharaina eagerly reached out for it. Upon touching it, she heard a loud bang. Seeing that she had succeeded in summoning her weapon, Sharaina opted to break her concentration when she saw another sword. It was still in a misty form. It was as though it hadn't been completely summoned yet.

Sharaina remembered when Zentz told her that she had two dragon marks. She could feel gamarax rushing on the mark on her left but very little was on the right one.

Sharaina focused on the right one and it began to glow through her uniform. She gasped when saw the second sword clearly. It was a lot different from the first one. It was longer and had a red handle. It was dark in color with a silver line in the middle. Sharaina reached out for it and there was a loud bang.

The noise startled the other students and they backed away from Sharaina. Sharaina was confused to see everyone looking at her with surprised looks on their faces.

"Only the owner of the weapon is supposed to hear the bang of acceptance so how come we have heard hers?" one of the students asked aloud.

"Sharaina, you are lucky that all the other students activated their weapons before you otherwise I would have had to punish you for causing a distraction!" Captain Shrave scolded her.

Sharaina looked at the two swords in her hands and she was completely enchanted by them. They formed electric waves when she waved them around. Sharaina marveled at how magnificent they looked. She couldn't believe that she could have such swords and was excited to know what they could do.

Two royal messengers approached Captain Shrave. They handed him a letter that he read in shock. The two messengers bowed their heads and promptly left. Sharaina and the students looked on tensed. They wondered what was in the letter that shocked Captain Shrave so much.

"You are to return to your homes for a two week break." he said and the students cheered loudly. "Shut up!" he ordered them. "Be sure to return back here after two weeks exactly or else you will be expelled." he warned them and walked away leaving everyone, including Mrs Plurinsia, cheering.

"Oh my goodness I can't believe it! I didn't think that this day was going to come so soon!" Sharaina screamed elated and waved her swords around in excitement.

"Hey be careful where you point those things." Naraygeous took refuge behind Zentz.

"Sorry!" Sharaina deactivated them. "I am going to start packing now so that I have time to say goodbye to Light."

Sharumez listened in anger as Akirexer narrated to him what happened between Naian and Emelinia. Naian faced down as his mother described everything in detail. All he could think of was proving his innocence to Emelinia. He still hadn't come to terms with the fact that she left him.

"This is terrible. Naian how could you be so foolish?" he angrily rebuked him.

"Papa I am not having an affair with Tamithra. Right now we should be talking about getting my wife back not this. Tamithra is delusional. I have never cheated on Emelinia with her and I never will."

"Why didn't you tell us about your past with her? We wouldn't have allowed her to get close to us." Akirexer scolded him.

"He should have kept his distance and not tolerated her at all when she returned." Sharumez added. "Anyway it is too late for that now. Let's focus on what we can do to solve this problem."

"I'm going to have to go after her." Naian stood up.

"No you will not. She is furious with you. She will not accept to return with you so in three days Jenu and I will go and convince her to return home." Sharumez sternly said to Naian.

"Three days papa? Why?" Naian asked him.

"Three days should be enough for her to calm down. She will not listen to us either if we rush things. Your time alone without her will give you enough time to reflect on your foolishness so that you think wisely next time."

Naian's heart shattered after he heard his father's words. Akirexer's scowl only made him feel even worse. Without another word, he went into his room closing the door behind him.

Oblivious to Sharumez and Akirexer, Sharaina heard everything. She had just arrived home but no one heard her arrive because she used a portal to get there. She was disheartened to know that Emelinia angrily left Naian because of Tamithra. Sharaina opened another portal and reappeared in front of Liss's house.

She knocked on the door and Liss opened it. Liss shrieked in surprise to see her there and immediately embraced her with a big hug. The noise Liss made her mother go down stairs to check who had gotten Liss so excited. She was pleased to see that it was Sharaina.

"When did you get back?" Liss asked Sharaina as she walked into the house.

"I got back a few minutes ago." Sharaina said to her with a smile "Good evening ma?" She greeted Farali.

"I am alright child. It's so nice to see you after so long." Farali warmly said to Sharaina and she nodded her head. "Please do come in."

"No mama, I am not here to stay long. I have come to see Tamithra. Would you mind calling her for me. I want to talk to her." Sharaina said with a bright smile.

Liss was puzzled that Sharaina came to see Tamithra.

Why does she want to see Tamithra? Could it have something to do with Naian? This should be interesting. Liss grinned.

Everyone watched Tamithra get down the stairs in silence. She halted astonished to see Sharaina. She tucked her lips and rubbed on her hand.

'What she doing here? This is not good.' Tamithra internally panicked with her eyes on Farali.

"Sharaina has come to see you Tamithra." Farali stated.

"Were you asleep Tamithra?" Sharaina asked her. Like I give a shit.

"No I wasn't." Tamithra answered in discomfort.

Sharaina chuckled. "Of course you weren't asleep. I mean after what you have done, how could you possibly sleep at night?"
