Sharaina slapped him across the face.

"I can't believe it Light. How could you keep the fact that you were engaged from me?" Sharaina painfully asked him.

"I was afraid that I was going to lose you that's why I kept the truth hidden from you. I just wanted to be free from the engagement before confessing everything to you."

"You didn't give me the choice whether to stay or leave. That was my choice to make not yours." she pushed him.

Sharaina paced around the room in denial. Her head was throbbing while the tight knot in her throat made her clench her jaw. Light's sad eyes only infuriated her more.

"I snatched someone else's fiancé. How will I face my parents?" this time her tears fell.

Light moved closer to her and tried to hold her. "Sharaina please listen to me. It isn't what you think. Give me a chance to explain."

"Stay away from me Light!" she screamed at him.

The curtains behind her were torn apart by a force. Sharaina squeezed her eyes shut and the jar of water on the headboard exploded into tiny pieces of glass. The water poured down to the ground.

Light sensed a dense level of gamarax emanating from her. It was so strong that it gave him a sharp headache and he backed away.

Fearing that she would hurt him, Sharaina muttered, "I need to get out of here." she quickly headed for the door and opened it but Light pulled her back and closed it. "Let me go!" she freed her wrist and pushed him.

"I would rather die by your hands than let you go Sharaina." Light boldly answered her. "Please just give me a chance to explain myself. There after you can leave if you want to."

"What is there to explain Light? You lied to me." she clenched her fist and the coffee table got crumpled.

Light took hold of her arms in an attempt to calm her down. "I have already told my family that I won't marry anyone else. They know that it is you that I love." he told her.

Sharaina scoffed. "They will never accept me. I am the root cause of your broken engagement." she angrily wiped her tears. "What will become of me when they complain to my parents?" she sat down and cried deeply.

King Meelzib and commander Luven arrived at the Great Academy. The sky was filled with dragons and the land was trampled by a thousand royal guards. King Meelzib landed on Luven's green dragon at the dormitories of the first years.

Naraygeous and Zentz were caught by surprise when Captain Shrave ordered everyone out of the dorms. They both joined everyone outside and bowed down to King Meelzib.

A shriek was heard but no head lifted to check. It did not take long for anyone to recognize the laughter that followed.

"My King, you are here. I can't tell you how much I have missed you." Lalina cheerfully said.

King Meelzib rubbed her head and smiled warmly at her. He then proceeded to hold her hand.

"Oh really, if that is so then why don't you visit me at the castle?" he asked her with a smile.

"Captain Shrave said that it is against the rules for anyone to go home." Lalina reported with a pout and one leg up.

King Meelzib shot a glare at Captain Shrave and he swallowed hard. "She is to go wherever she wants at whatever time she sees fit with whomever she wants. Do you understand?" he sternly ordered him.

"It will happen as you wish your majesty." Captain Shrave answered much to Lalina's delight.

Lalina thought about Sharaina and realized that it was the perfect time to intimidate her so that she could finally stay away from Naraygeous. She looked around for Sharaina and when she couldn't see her, she felt agitated.

"So these are the new recruits? I am not pleased with what I see." King Meelzib plainly said with a bored look. "I want an army of ruthless tyrants that execute orders to perfection. What I see before me is a pitiful and pathetic sight. This angers me so."

"What do suggest we do?" Luven asked him with a sinister grin.

"A brand new training program." King Meelzib declared.

Sharaina took a look at Light saw that his head was bowed as he sat. She got up and dashed out of the house before he could stop her. She roughly bumped into a man's shoulder and didn't stop to look.

Light rushed out after her but was met by a surprised look of the man. He had a light bruise around his eye. Light walked passed him but his wrist was pulled.

"What?" he hissed.

"I need to talk to you man. Things with Stariss went out of hand and I'm here to apologize." he softly said.

"I am not the one you should be apologizing to. Go and talk to your wife." Light harshly answered him and he stepped back.

"I know but..."

"I don't have time for this alright. We will talk tomorrow." Light opened his gate and left him standing there alone.

The sky was grey and drops of rain fell on him as he ran down the road in search of Sharaina. To his relief, he saw her at the gate speaking to the guard.

"Why won't you let me out?" Sharaina asked him.

"King Meelzib is visiting the Great Academy and until he and his royal guards leave, no one is allowed to walk around but remain where they are." the guard replied with a yawn.

The rainfall increased by the time Light caught up with Sharaina. The guard closed his window and Sharaina growled to herself.

Light joined Sharaina at the gate and stood in front of her. She saw the sadness and stress in his eyes. Sharaina angrily turned away from him and folded her hands. Even though the rain socked her to the bone, she could still feel the warmth of her tears.

"Sharaina please come with me. Let's go back to my house." Light begged her.

"I am not going anywhere with you. I would rather stay out here in the rain." she refused.

"Sharaina, I know you are mad at me. I was wrong to do this to you. I was selfish because I only thought about my happiness. Sharaina I am sorry. Please forgive me my love." he pleaded with so much pain in his voice.

"Leave me alone. I just want to be alone!" Sharaina screamed over the thunder.

Light saw violent lightening in the sky. He grabbed Sharaina's hand and forcefully pulled her back to his house. She hit his hand but he didn't let her go. He got to his flat and took Sharaina in.

He let go of her and locked the door. Sharaina looked at him in disbelief. Light looked back at her with a look she had never seen on him. It was the look of anger.

"Why can't you just let me go Light?!"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" Light raised his voice at her and she looked at him shocked. "All this time you and I have spent together does not mean anything to you? I thought you knew me. I admit that I was wrong for not telling you sooner but is this really enough for you to decide to walk out on us? I thought that by now you would know that I truly love you. I have fallen head over heels in love with you. Why can't you see that huh?"

"How can I see it when you lied to me?" she defensively argued.

"Believe me, I wanted to tell you but I feared that you would leave me and look I was right! Right now I have angered my family because of my decision to be with you. Only Jayniss and my uncle support me. Everyone else thinks that I have an unhealthy obsession with you."

Sharaina faced away annoyed.

"It's not like I had a relationship with my ex fiancee. I got engaged to her as a child and wasn't allowed to see her until the day of our wedding. I accepted my fate but everything changed when I met you. Once I had you, I decided to never let you go. I am hurt that you would let me go so easily Sharaina."

Sharaina looked sharply at him. "Don't you dare turn the tables on me Light. I am not the one who is wrong here." she clenched her jaw when she was done speaking.

Light moved closer to her and tucked her hair behind her ears. "I am not ready to lose you. Punish me however you want but please don't leave me. I am yours and all I want is for you to be mine forever. I can't see myself with anyone else." he softly said.

Sharaina took in his words. As her temper cooled down, a frown replaced her scowl. "Your family will never accept me." she sadly said.

"As long as we are together, it doesn't matter who doesn't accept our love." Light held pulled her close and held her waist. Sharaina blushed as she looked at his sincere eyes. "I believe that it won't be long until they start loving you as much as I do. Their anger is justified but they can't surely be angry forever."

"What about my parents? My father will be furious with me when he finds out about this. How will I face him?"

"His anger will be justified too. I will do everything I can to prove to him that I am worthy of you even if it kills me." Light assured Sharaina.

"Please don't say that. I wouldn't be able to take it if something happened to you."

"I will always live for you my love. I will always be with you. All you have to do is let me."

"Light..."

Light crushed his lips on Sharaina's, kissing her with so much intensity and she returned it. Light lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He laid her down on the couch. The storm outside increased and loudly hit the roof as the two ripped each other's wet uniforms off.

Sharaina got on top of Light and his fingers unfastened her bra while their tongues were intertwined. He rubbed on her bare back and felt her ass. Sharaina moaned softly when she felt him get into her. She moved her hips back and Light let out a moan of his own.

He held her waist as she slowly went up and down on him. Her wet hair hide her nipples. Each of them breathed fast as they took in the sweet sensation of their bodies.

Light sat up and held Sharaina's waist as her pace went up. Her breathing increased as Light controlled the movements of her waist. Sharaina's inner muscles tensed and she let out a loud moan as she came.

Light turned her over and held her leg up. He kissed her deeply as he worked his way in her, stroking in and out of her. He got a handful of her hair and felt her gently bite his lip. Light finally threw his head back with a moan of his own as he filled her.

Light collapsed on top of Sharaina and she held him. He lifted his head once more and they locked in a soft and gentle kiss.

Emelinia sat on her side of the bed watching Naian sleep. On his forehead was a cold and wet cloth that she set in order to keep his temperature down.

Tamithra stood away from the house. She hugged her scarf tight and her teeth clattered due to the cold. Her eyes were set on Liss and Mayla knocking on the door. She saw Akirexer open the door for them and usher them in.

"I wonder if Sharaina is home." she thought aloud.

"So after asking my brother to keep your relationship a secret for years you have decided to dump him for a rich man?" Sharaina expressed her disgust.

"This is none of your business Sharaina. You should be happy that we are over anyway. You never supported our relationship." Tamithra hatefully replied.

"I am relieved that you are finally out of his life. You never deserved him. We shall see if you will be happy with that man because no one will ever love you the way Naian did!"

"I'm I ready to deal with drama from Sharaina. I know she won't be happy to see me." she shuddered after her flashback.

But I really want to see him at least once this night. she bit her lip.

"I'm going in." she decided.

Tamithra lifted her long dress and made it to the front door. She knocked twice and waited. To her relief, it was Alainara who opened the door for her.

"Hi dear, I'm looking for Liss. Is she here?" Tamithra sweetly asked.

"Yes she is. Please come in." Alainara opened the door wide for her.

Tamithra felt a little nervous as Alainara led her into the kitchen. Akirexer stood up to greet her upon seeing her. Liss and Mayla on the other hand shot stunned looks at each other and shrugged their shoulders. They both wondered why Tamithra would go there looking for Liss.

"Has anything happened home?" Liss asked Tamithra.

"No, aunt said that I should come and check on you. She overheard you two say that you were coming over here." Tamithra lied, she eavesdropped on them earlier.

Liss raised her eyebrow at Tamithra. She knew very well that her mother wouldn't care enough to send Tamithra to check up on her. There was another reason Tamithra had decided to pop up there all of a sudden and that reason was not her.

Mm, what are you up to Tamithra? Liss thought as Tamithra took a seat.

"Ma, where is Sharaina? I haven't seen her since I got here." Tamithra asked Akirexer.

"Sharaina left for the Great Academy months ago." Akirexer said to her.

"Oh I see. That's nice." YES!

Emelinia got into the kitchen and smiled at everyone. "Naian is fast asleep so I have come to help you." she said to Akirexer.

"Oh no Emelinia, what if he wakes up? I told you that I'd handle dinner."

"Mama, you worry too much. I'll know when he wakes up. My instincts are good."

"Alright." Akirexer nodded her head, convinced. "Set the table but don't include your plate and Naian's. You will eat from your room."

Tamithra was puzzled with their conversation so she asked; "What is wrong with Naian?"

"He was bitten by a goo goo back at the workshop." Liss answered with a yawn.

"Is he alright?" Tamithra anxiously asked Akirexer.

"He is okay dear. All he needs is bed rest and he will be well. He has already started taking his medicine." Akirexer smiled at her.

Sharumez got down stairs and found Emelinia nearly done setting the table. Akirexer, along with Liss, Mayla and Tamithra joined Sharumez at the table. Sharumez called out to Alainara and she quickly ran to the table.

Naian forced his shaky legs to move as he weakly got down the stairs. Akirexer glared at him but he grinned at her.

"You are supposed to be in bed. Do you want to fall down the stairs and give me a heart attack?" she scolded him but he laughed softly. "And you," she turned to Emelinia. "This is exactly why I insisted that you stayed with him."

"Mama calm down, I am feeling better." Naian assured her and sat down at the table.

Tamithra was so happy to see him that she couldn't hide her happiness. Liss flashed a smirk at Mayla who chuckled back.

"Bring him a plate." Akirexer ordered Emelinia and she immediately obeyed, not wanting to upset her more than she already was.

Naian sat down next to Sharumez and he was shocked to see Tamithra looking right at him. Naian faced away feeling awkward. Liss and Mayla exchanged baffled looks again.

Everyone heard a plate break in the kitchen. Akirexer looked over her shoulder called out to Emelinia but she didn't answer. She excused herself and when she got into the kitchen she gasped loud enough for everyone to hear.

At that point, Naian forgot his weakness and rushed into the kitchen. Sharumez was right behind him. Liss and Mayla left the table too and Alainara followed them. Tamithra rolled her eyes and she went to see what mess Emelinia got herself into.

When she got to the kitchen, she was surprised to see Emelinia standing still with her eyes and her birth mark glowing purple. She was standing so still as though she was a statue. It was like she was frozen in her state.

"Emelinia!" Naian called out to her.

Naian held her shoulders and shook her but she couldn't return to normal. Sharumez gave him a cup of water and he poured the water on Emelinia's head.

Emelinia took a deep breath in and her eyes returned to normal. She held her dizzy head and staggered back. Naian hugged her in order to keep her from falling.

"Are you okay?" he asked her, concerned.

"Yes I am." she answered with a nod.

Sharumez and Akirexer breathed sighs of relief. Everyone went back to the dining table and Naian helped Emelinia sit down before sitting beside her.

Looking at Naian's concern for Emelinia made Tamithra burn with jealousy. She felt so jealous that it suffocated her. She could barely keep a straight face. The food in her mouth was tasteless as she poked what was on her plate with her fork.

The sight of Naian feeding Emelinia who was drowsy infuriated her. Liss and Mayla closely observed Tamithra glaring at the couple opposite her.

As soon as dinner was over, she was the first one to stand up.

"Thank you for the dinner." she put her hands together and feigned a smile that didn't even touch her eyes.

"You're most welcome." Sharumez smiled at her.

"Well, it's getting late so we should be on our way." Tamithra politely said, trying her best to hide her anger.

"Oh yes, it's best that you do." Akirexer warmly remarked.

Liss wiped her mouth with a napkin and got up. "We will come in two days time. It's high time we took you out." she said to Emelinia and chuckles were heard.

"I would love that." Emelinia accepted.

"Tamithra is such a nice girl." Akirexer said after the girls left. "I remember you were once close to her." she said to Naian.

Emelinia looked puzzled at Naian and his heart skip a beat. "Um, yes but we're not so close anymore."

"That's understandable considering that you're both married now." Sharumez remarked and got off his chair.

Naian remained in deep thought. He knew that Tamithra specifically went there to see him. Emelinia rested her head on his shoulder and he blinked ---completely cutting his thoughts.

No, perhaps I'm over thinking things. She probably just came with Liss and Mayla. There's nothing to it.
