Chapter 101: Chapter 101
Imau was going all out with his M60, shooting and roaring. Liss and Lalina took cover behind the wall fence. Liss covered her ears while Lalina held the bullet wound on her arm.
Amau maintained his composure. He had his hands folded with his back to the door. Ronitte swiftly jumped towards Imau and stepped on his gun. She side kicked Imau in the face but it did nothing. He didn’t even wince at the blow. It was as though a human kicked a stiff tree.
Ronitte’s insult only angered Imau more. He reached out for her with one of his claws but she got away with only a scratch on her thigh. Ronitte moaned in pain and got down on one knee. Imau shot at her and she quickly rolled away to safety.
“Damn it at this rate we will not be able to get your mother out of here! We have to come up with a better plan.” Liss yelled at Lalina.
“Yes you are right. We must find a way to disarm Imau.” Lalina agreed. “Ronitte! Mayla! Are you two okay?” Lalina called out as loud as she could.
“I am okay! I don’t know about Mayla!” Ronitte shouted back
Liss felt tensed when Mayla didn’t let them know whether she was okay or not. She crawled away from her hiding spot and peeped in through the gate. The sight of Mayla horrified her.
“Mayla!” Liss screamed.
Mayla lay flat on the ground in her own pool of blood. She was gasping for air with her hand on her torn up stomach. Liss felt her fury building up and she allowed it to consume her.
Liss jumped back into the yard caring less about getting shot. She immediately caught the attention of Imau who redirected his bullets at her. Liss used her sword to deflect the bullets away from her.
Liss slashed hard on the ground and bits of pavement shot up in the air. Imau was distracted and Liss used the opportunity to slash open Imau’s belly. Imau backed away in shock.
He hadn’t returned to his senses when Ronitte appeared suddenly and punched him hard under his jaw. The blow sent him flying up in the air. Lalina followed him up and screamed as her sword cut his body in two perfect halves.
The two halves fell to the ground and splashed blood everywhere. Amau unfolded his arms and raised one eye brow. “Brother? I can no longer sense you.” He said.
Lalina and the other girls watched rays of light leave Imau’s body and they joined together. The ray got into Lalina in a rush with a force pushing her to the ground. Liss faced away from Lalina and ran to Mayla’s side. Ronitte focused her attention on Amau. Amau stepped away from the door shaking his head in disbelief.
“Mayla!” Liss painfully called out to Mayla.
Mayla slowly turned her head to Liss and winced at the pain her sudden movement caused. Her eyes were already fading away. The sight of their dullness gave Liss a tight knot in her chest. Liss took off her scarf and pressed it against Mayla’s wound. Mayla moaned at the pain and Liss held her hand tight.
“It’s going to be okay Mayla. Please just try to stay awake. We will get you to the gamarax manipulators.” Liss softly said to her. Her sad tone ended with a sniff.
“Liss, I don’t think I will be able to hold on much longer. I can feel myself slipping away.” Mayla confessed with a heavy heart.
“Don’t speak like that. I’m taking you back to camp even if it means that I have to carry you myself.” Liss refuted and Mayla moaned and closed her eyes. “Mayla!” Liss panicked. She looked over to Ronitte and Lalina. “Mayla is threatening hibernation. I am taking her back to camp!” She told them.
“Okay hurry. We will be fine here.” Lalina answered her with confidence.
Liss opened a portal. She carried Mayla bridal style and made her way into it. Lalina longingly faced up to the window where her mother was watching them from earlier. She used her special eyes to see into the house and saw her mother behind the bed hugging her legs. Lalina sighed in relief knowing that she was okay.
“You have killed my brother.” Amau’s voice cut her thoughts. “Big mistake!” He thundered and activated his weapon.
Amau pointed his gun at Lalina and spread his legs apart. Lalina and Ronitte saw his finger pressing upon the trigger and they back flipped. They took cover behind a tree and got ready for another shooting.
Surprisingly there was nothing but silence. Lalina put her sword out and looked through it like it was a mirror. Her eyes widened at the reflection of a hand protruding through Amau’s chest with his beating heart clutched.
“Master…” Amau muttered and fell face dead.
Holan took in the power that left Amau with a scowl. Lalina gasped at the reflection of his red beaming eyes glaring at her. Ronitte gritted her teeth and held onto her sword tight as she listened to her heart beat. Panima felt the presence of her husband and she rushed back to the window.
“Holan!” She screamed after him.
“Stay right where you are.” Holan coldly ordered her. “Reveal yourself traitorous brat. You don’t want me to come after you.” He hatefully said to Lalina.
Lalina’s heart sank at her father’s cold words. Papa has never spoken to me like that before. She thought. “Stay here Ronitte. I will face my father alone.” Lalina quietly whispered to Ronitte.
“Okay but I will step in should things get crazy.” Ronitte quietly whispered back.
Lalina stepped away from the tree and met her father’s furious eyes. “Papa…” she began.
“Since when did you have a father?” Holan angrily asked her. “What you have done today has ruined the last shred of love I had for you.”
“Papa I can explain.” Lalina took a step closer.
“Explain what? That you wanted to have my power? Stupid girl!” Holan activated his sword. “I will take my power back from your corpse.”
Holan charged at Lalina and hit his sword against hers. Lalina did her best to dodge his attacks but there was no denying that Holan had an upper hand in the battle due to experience.
He swung his sword so hard at Lalina that it forced her sword out of her hand. Holan proceeded to stab her with his sword completely knocking the breath out of Lalina’s lungs. Her mother screamed loudly from her window.
“Emelinia was right not to forgive you.” Lalina cried.
Holan roughly pulled his sword away tearing Lalina’s flesh even more. She got down to her knees and fell to her side semiconscious.
Ronitte got out of hiding and charged at Holan. He grabbed her by her neck and slammed her to the ground. He picked her up again and slammed her. Holan picked her up and held her upside down. He then slammed her head first into the ground. Ronitte lay unconscious on the ground.
“Holan, please don’t kill our child.” Panima begged.
“She has betrayed me by killing my none pure. She has to die!” He thundered.
“Don’t do this!” Panima cried.
Holan picked Lalina by her hair and held his sword up. “She is just a child. We will replace her with another one.” Holan forced his sword down with all his might but was shocked when a hand held his wrist. “You!”
“Hello father in law!” Naraygeous cheerfully greeted Holan.
“What are you doing here?” Holan furiously asked him.
“Well I sensed that Lalina was in trouble so I came here.” Naraygeous winked at him.
“Sensed?” Holan gasped. “Do you mean to tell me that you marked my daughter without my permission?!” He hissed through his gritted teeth.
“Well it was by accident.” Naraygeous softly laughed. “Don’t worry, my people will bring the dowry.” He waved his eyebrows up and down.
Holan was about to say something else to Naraygeous when he felt Lalina get swiftly pulled away from him. He looked further and saw Shays gently laying her next to Ronitte. Shays saluted to Holan with a smirk across his face.
“I am your opponent father in law. I hope our fight won’t make our future family dinners together awkward.” Naraygeous activated his giant sword.
“Oh they will be awkward.” Shays remarked with a chuckle. “I definitely wouldn’t count on it.”

In a peaceful morning of a village in China was Velan and his family. He sat on the porch of his house with Nami knitting across from him. Jayniss was styling Stariss’ hair whereas Lara was writing something in her book. Nami suddenly gasped and all heads turned to her. They silently watched her hold up a little snow white sweater.
“It looks beautiful mama.” Jayniss commented.
“Yes, my grandchild will wear this the very first day I get it away from that horrible girl.” Nami confidently said.
Her words were met by a soft laugh from Velan. “Are you still on that? Nami come on.”
Nami glared at Velan. “The child is better off with me and not her.” She snarled.
Velan shook his head. “The child is best with its mother.”
“What values will she teach him? Moreover I have told you that she is to be divorced. I want nothing to do with her.”
Velan laughed again. “I want to see how you will go up against a queen Nami.” He mocked her. “One would expect a materialistic woman such as yourself to be happy that their daughter in law is going to be royalty. Once she ascends to the throne, she will be the richest and most powerful in the entire kingdom.”
Velan’s words brought forth a thoughtful look across Nami’s face. She dropped her gaze and leaned against her chair. Nami didn’t notice her daughters looking at her in amusement. It was unbelievable how she gave her hatred for Sharaina a second thought after thinking about how rich she was going to become.
Nami caught Stariss staring at her and she immediately returned to her senses. “She will never be queen. Light made the biggest mistake of his life by marrying that girl.” She retorted.
“No mama, he did not.” Jayniss remarked at her mother’s dismay. “He loves her and when he wakes up, he will happy to know that he has a child with her. Stop this obsession of yours in taking the child away from Sharaina and divorcing her. You know that Light will be very upset with you if you do.” She advised and received nods from Velan and Lara.
“Do you think the baby is a boy or girl?” Lara cheerfully changed the subject. “She should have given birth by now right?” She added with a smile.
“I’m hoping it is a girl.” Jayniss chuckled.
“No, it has to be a boy. There are too many girls in this family. We could use a grandson.” Nami commented.
“I agree with you.” Velan smiled at Nami and she was taken aback.
“Wow, you haven’t agreed with me in a long time.” Nami raised her eyebrows at him suspiciously.
“Aren’t you my best friend?” Velan asked Nami and she turned away smiling. “Right now as we speak Sharaina is fighting King Meelzib. It’s only a matter of time now before we hear who has come out victorious in this battle.”
Nami scoffed. “She will never be able to defeat King Meelzib. You wait and see.” She snapped her fingers.

Sharaina went crushing deep down underground. Dirt and rubble fell on top of her as she tried to get her senses in order. She lunged right back to the surface and her eyes set upon King Meelzib’s static wave.
She caused a wave of her own and deflected it. King Meelzib threw his sword at her and she grabbed it. With one thrust she threw it back at him with an even greater momentum. King Meelzib deactivated his sword right before it was about to go through his eye.
King Meelzib felt a sudden hot burn on his back and turned to see Velna torching him with her blue flames. In a blink of an eye, Sharaina appeared in front of him and punched him in the face. King Meelzib punched her back and threw her crushing into a building.
Sharaina groaned at her stomach wound and turned to her side. She was shocked to see half a body of a woman hugging three little children. It was clear that she died protecting them. The three little children cried deeply under the weight of their beloved mother. Sharaina sensed King Meelzib coming for her and she got back to her feet.
How many more of the innocent will perish? This war has to end. She thought to herself and launched up to the roof of the building.
Sharaina leaped to another rooftop so as to draw the attention of King Meelzib away from the children. King Meelzib appeared right in front of her and she skidded in her tracks. She ducked down completely dodging his swing of his sword.
Sharaina swung her blue sword at him but he blocked it with his own. Sharaina jumped up and stepped on King Meelzib’s chest. She kicked him under his chin with a back flip and landed on the ground with her hand on her wound.
I can feel myself weakening due to this wound. I must defeat him before I completely lose my strength. Sharaina thought to herself.
How is she even able to keep up with me despite the wound I have inflicted on her. King Meelzib was puzzled.

Yolin was bleeding from her head. She squat down on her knee. Vice commander Rint’s dagger stuck out through her shoulder. Rint had five daggers spread apart in one of her hands. Her other hand was on her hip while she looked at Yolin with a stoic.
“You really shouldn’t overestimate yourself.” Rint said to Yolin.
Yolin scoffed and held her whip firmly as she got back to her feet. She cut and ran across the land. Rint shot more daggers at Yolin and she stealthily dodged them. Yolin looked above and saw a red dragon approaching.
From the corner of her eye, she saw Rint gaining up on her. Yolin made an unexpected sharp corner and Rint paused in her tracks. Yolin quickly tied Rint in her whip and threw her straight into the jaws of the red dragon.
Rint screamed when the dragon sank its jaws. Her own dragon appeared and it bit the other dragon in the neck. The wounded dragon let go of Rint and she fell.
Yolin wrapped her around her whip and smashed her hard to the ground. Rint turned to her side and coughed out blood. Yolin stared down at her in disgust.
“And you should stop underestimating your opponents vice commander. You may be a high ranking warrior but don’t forget that I was one of the best in King Meelzib’s training program. The training I had to endure made me your equal. Now we shall see if I am your superior in battle.” Yolin coldly said to her.

Nami sat all by herself on the porch. She was engrossed in the little baby boot she was knitting. Nami suddenly felt a new presence. She let go of her needles and glanced over to the gate. The sight of four gamarax manipulators and a wagon behind them pleased her. She got off her chair and sent a servant to go and open the gate.
“Velan!” She excitedly called out.
“Yes Nami.” Velan answered.
“Come quick, they have brought Light.” Nami answered back and got off the porch.
Velan came rushing out with his daughters not far behind. The family was so happy that they didn’t notice how tensed the gamarax manipulators were. They nervously walked into the yard taking care not to look anyone in the eye.
“I am assuming that our son is in the wagon. Please bring him out.” Nami quickly said without even bothering to greet the men before her.
“I am afraid your son isn’t with us.” A husky voice from inside the wagon answered.
The family turned to the wagon stunned. They watched a soldier come out of it. Following him out were five lesser ranked soldiers. The sight of the warriors made the Velan family terrified. At a snap of a finger they were roughly apprehended.
“What have you done with my son?” Velan asked them.
The commanding soldier laughed loud. “You will find out soon enough.”
Nami looked at the gamarax manipulators in disbelief. “How could you do this? I thought we were friends.”
“We are sorry Nami but it was either your family or ours.” One of them sincerely said.
“Take them away from here.” The commanding officer blurted out.
Velan and his family were roughly shoved to the wagon. Nami couldn’t take her eyes off her friends. She had the look of distraught plastered across her face while they shared a look of regret.
Nami felt a hand on her back push her so hard that she nearly missed a step. She was practically thrown into the wagon. Her body fell on Stariss and she bumped into Lara. Before the door closed, Nami saw one of her friends wipe a tear.
