Joanna's POV

"Come over here you two." I smiled and motioned over the two most protective friends I had and still have. They didn't blink or waste a second after I spoke because in a flash I was in the middle of an emotional hug as Harmony kept whispering sweet things in my ear while Tenda sobbed on my shoulder.

"I love you both so much." I breathed and provided them each a kiss on their foreheads as my heart clamped in affection.

They pulled away a little over a minute later and Tenda wiped away her tears before she tried to give me a fierce look as she spoke.

"Never do that again young lady, or I swear I would journey to the beyond and drag you back here to spank your ass, got that?" She glared, fresh tears breaking through once more as I dragged her in for a hug of mine.

"Pave way for the future sister-in-law." Fahvour grinned as she wandered to us and tapped them in an excuse me manner.

"Come here sister-in-law," I called out and leaned into her embrace after Tenda had drifted a little to give us some space.

"I thought you were gone for good," She murmured as she snuffed in the crook of my neck.

"Nah, you are surely gonna be my Asoebi (bridesmaid) soon, it's a promise," I whispered for our ears only.

She laughed at this as we disentangled from the hug and said in a commanding tone. "Let's allow you to eat and have some rest, we will all be back later okay?"

"Yeah yeah," They all replied and shuffled out, including my parents.

"Not you Francis," Dad stopped him as he was about to follow them.

"You both need a moment." Mom winked at me from dad's back which had me blushing as I thought, GOD that woman.

"Your mom is really something else." Francis cackled after he had closed the door and came over to sit with me on the bed.

"Tell me about it." I teased, followed by an eye-roll as I beamed.

"I love you," He confessed, a teary look in his eyes that made my heart clench, hence I understood the sincerity in his words.

"I love you more babe." I gleamed, "Plus, I will never leave you hanging, trust me."

"Even when we are about to get married?" He questioned, a worried expression on his face.

"Even then, we are stuck for life," I smirked.

"So you agree to marry me?" He queried in amazement.

"What part of we are stuck for life don't you understand?" I questioned, rolling my eyes.

"I just want to be sure." He shrugged, happiness taking shape in his eyes.

"Well not now actually, but it's a promise," I assured in a grin.

"A promise." He affirmed smiling as he snatched me in for a kiss.

I kissed him back and giggled afterward when I heard claps and whistles in the background.

Well that was my life and I wouldn't exchange it for any amount
