Chapter 46: Chapter 46

Joanna's POV

"Yeah, hope," I responded. "Like there's more to the story. Not to be on his side, but I feel it shouldn't just end this way. Call me naive or desperate but I feel like something doesn't just add up."

"I don't fully understand what your trying to say, though I sort of see your point, as the Frank I know wouldn't just act like that," Tenda mumbled as she looked deep in thought.

I shrugged at this and asked, "How are the guys, I heard you all dealt with Frank?"

"Mehn." She laughed, "It was like a warzone."

"Also, the fact that you went all lady gaga on him." I grinned.

"Hey, he hurt my bestfriend, I have the right to go even Mark Tyson on him." She said with a puff of her chest.

"Awwwn." I smiled, "I love you girl."

"I love you too." She hugged me, "By the way, the guys said to tell you they were coming."

"Why are you just telling me this?" I queried and facepalmed at her forgetfulness.

"It skipped my mind." She shrugged, "And they also told me to----"

Her continuous speech was cut off by voices that hollered from downstairs. "Where are them bitches! Hello, Joana! Tenda! Are you guys up there?"

"Speaking of the devils," She uttered and howled afterward "We are up here!"

"Damn!" I exclaimed. "My ears are gonna bleed."

"Sorry, not sorry." She laughed and walked to open the door as we heard them knock.

"Hello ladies," Harmony voiced out in a cool British accent which made me snort.

"She's laughing, should we run?" Ifeanyi interrogated as his eyes glanced everywhere but me.

"Shut up idiot," Tony muttered and smacked him at the back of his head.

"Hey Jo," Blake greeted and walked over to give me a hug that I accepted.

"How are you bestie?" Harmony interviewed, a concerned smile on his lips.

"I'm fine," I replied and nodded reassuringly.

"That's what she said!" Tenda yelled, earning her a glare from Blake.

"Bestie..." Harmony drawled with a sigh.

"I- am- fine," I spoke slowly like I was talking to a child. "Also I know suicide is not the best option."

"That's what they always say, but when you turn your back they do it," Ifeanyi muttered and I lent him a hard stare in reply.

"Foodie, I hope you are not in denial, you need to come to terms with what happened." Tony beamed.

"Uh, I'm so tired of hearing this," I groaned, "I am not in denial."

"How many times am I gonna explain? Tenda help me out here." I sighed and gave her a 'please save me' look, which she comprehended thankfully, and filled them in on everything.

"Awwn, wish I was here with you last night, but a certain someone said you needed space." Harmony spoke his vision in Blake's direction.

"It's not your fault, I really needed the space," I affirmed and offered Blake an appreciative smile. "Besides, you needed to deal with him."

He chuckled at this, "Of course, I trashed his room which is a difficult task by the way, did you notice that he's a neat freak? The dude even arranged his sunglasses for heaven's sake, who does that."

"Not everyone is a pig like you," Blake voiced resulting in a chuckle from each of us.

"Don't call me that, he's the bad guy here not me," Harmony whined.

"That doesn't stop me from saying the truth." Blake rasped while Harmony pouted in retort as he knew he couldn't contend with Blake on that.

I need to find out what went wrong, I speculated, oblivious to the fact they had ceased laughing and were gaping at me.

"Hey, hey!" Tenda yelled while snapping her fingers in my face as I had spaced out.

"Now what are you thinking?" Blake challenged, while he rubbed his forehead in frustration.

"Thinking of my next line of action," I answered.

"Hope it doesn't involve suicide," Harmony mumbled not so silently.

"Dude!" Tony exclaimed and slapped him upside the head.

"Hey, I'm being on guard you know?" He defended.

"Remind me why he's our friend again," Tenda spoke as she swerved to give me a confused gaze.

"You love me, duh!" Harmony smirked.

"So, what's your next line of action?" Blake asked after he rolled his eyes at Harmony's unwanted drama.

"I'm gonna meet up with Frank," I spoke, leaving shocked expressions on their faces.

"Oh no, oh no no no no no, hell freaking no!" Harmony disagreed shaking his head.

"I'm not letting you go anywhere near that walking STD! The answer's no." Tony shouted as he bestowed me an 'are you crazy' stare.

"I didn't ask for permission, so your opinions don't matter," I said with a shrug at their decisive attitudes.

"But, but, but--" Ifeanyi sputtered, a bit scared to disagree before he turned to Tenda "Help me tell her that's a bad idea."

"I see her point though, a girl needs closure in this kind of situation," Tenda responded gaining a glare from Tony, Harmony, and Ifeanyi.

"I see her point too." Blake nodded.

"It's still two against three," Tony smirked as he thought they've got the upper hand.

"And I said I don't need permission," I smirked back.

"Damn you, Jo!" Tony growled.

"Do you really have to?" Harmony contested, and I gleamed in affirmation.

"Fine!" They all agreed when they acknowledged I wasn't backing down from my decision.

"Thank you guys, your support means a lot." I voiced out and blew them a kiss.

"Yeah yeah whatever," Tony rolled his eyes before he turned to Tenda with a crooked smile on his face, "Come here babe."

"What's up?" She raised a question, while she waddled over to where he stood.

"I said come here," He growled huskily, and yanked her to him to squeeze her ass and whisper in her ear, "Let's go have fun."

"Eeeew."

"Gross."

"Idiot."

"Broken heart in the room!" We all cried out at the same time as Tenda squealed.

"Fvck y'all!" He screamed back at us and walked out with Tenda upside down on his shoulder.

"He's crazy," Harmony blurted.

"Yep." I grinned, appreciative of the kind of friends I had and still have.
