Joanna's POV

I gazed into his eyes and slowly ran my hand down his bare chest, just stopping at the waistband of his sweatpants before I trailed back upwards to his lips and placed my index finger on it in a shushing manner.

I felt him shiver when I tiptoed a bit and ran my tongue from the sharp jawline to his ear where I left chaste kisses all around it.

He groaned at this and roughly whirled me around so my back was facing him.

I smiled as I sensed his hands decline to my waist and jerked me closer such that my ass was directly on his area to which I slowly bent my hips and seductively ground my ass teeth grazed my neck and bit on the soft skin before kissing and sucking on it.

"You don't know how much I care about you," He whispered in my ear after his lips trailed their way to my earlobe.

I couldn't stand his teasing anymore so I swerved to tug his face down to my level, after which I kissed him before I grabbed his lower lip in between mine and sucked on it.

He moaned at this and captured my lips back for a hungry and passionate kiss where our tongues fought fiercely for preeminence.

He released my lips to take deep breaths, his mouth attacking the other side of my neck afterward, and gave it the same treatment he did on the previous side.

"Oh God," I moaned as his hands left my back and went to my ass there he squeezed and fondled the flesh. I entwined my fingers in his hair, yanking him closer as I mashed my body to his.

I heard him murmur something when my hand went really low to palm his region and smiled into the kiss as he lifted me in the air before my back lightly hit the couch that was positioned on the right side of the living room.

His mouth then vacated mine and landed on my shoulders where he left faint kisses on my collarbone.

I quivered as his hands skimmed under my short rose flowered top and stroked my back in a way that made me arch forward to jerk his face back to mine, this time I slid my tongue in between his lips and let my palm roam to his chest and slightly dragged my nails on the tight skin.

"I have to stop," He mumbled and unhurriedly retrieved his lips from mine, as he released heavy breaths. "That was--

"Hot? Sexy? Beautiful? Which one." I beamed while I aimed to calm the fast beating of my heart.

"Yeah, all that." He sighed, "But I think the correct word should be amazing."

"Yeah, amazing is the word." I nodded my mouth wide in a grin as I gazed at him.

There was something about him that I couldn't place my finger on. I always had a strange feeling like we had known each other more than we could imagine, that feeling comes whenever I was with him, like a strong connection.

"I-, I," He stuttered, after which he cleared his throat.

"I don't know if this is too soon or too late, but I really know you, and I care about you so much, that I don't know how to explain it, because this feeling confuses me," He continued, looking nervous.

"Anyway, without further talks or blabbering, will you be my girlfriend?" He consented, uncertainty dancing in his eyes.

I decided to mess with him for a bit and said with a blank look, "Girlfriend? Me, your girlfriend?"

"Yeah, you." He coughed while he scratched his hair nervously.

"Really, me?" I continued a brow raised. "I've been waiting for you to ask me that you idiot, what took you so long!"

"So, would you?" He inquired.

"What part of what I just said don't you understand? Of course, I'll be your girlfriend." I smirked and hugged him.

"Thank GOD!" He exclaimed with a smile. "Don't you ever scare me like that again, you almost gave me a heart attack!"

"Now kiss me you imbecile," I laughed and raised my head a fraction so he could capture my lips in a kiss.

Frank's POV

I wasn't avoiding her, but some things actually came up and I wanted to surprise her badly so I kept a distance to avoid spilling my plans.

When we watched that movie, I wasn't exactly watching it but was watching her instead.

How she laughed at the funny part of the movie and the way she devoured almost three-quarters of that cake creeped me out a bit.

I was a little shocked to see that our gifts matched, and as I had said earlier we are meant for each other.

I could feel the little me get excited when she slowly ground on me and bit my ear softly.

When her hands roamed around my body? Holy shit, I could have released there and then because damn! She was so hot and I think I love her.

The feeling of my hands on her ass was so heavenly that I could hold it all day and night if she let me of course.

Our kiss was so intense that I didn't know when my hands slid beneath her top and stroked her back, I would have given everything to have her there but the patient dog eats the fattest bone, right? Let's hope it's true.

I was shocked at myself when I asked her to be my girlfriend, not that I didn't want to, because heck that was what I had been wanting to do that for years now.

Well, things all fell in place in the end, if not I would have hit my head on the wall a million times if she had turned me down.

She literally made my heart stop when she pretended like she wasn't interested but I'm so happy she said yes.

Looking at her now as she dozed off beside me looking cute in my T-shirt, I couldn't be happier.
