Chapter 30: Chapter 30

oanna's POV

"Well if it isn't my favorite uncle and aunt." She laughed as she ran over to where they stood and embraced them while they each kissed her on the cheek.

"How are your parents and siblings, by the way, aren't they supposed to be here with you?" Mom asked while her eyes searched around to check if she could spot them.

"Yeah, where's my brother and that beautiful mother of yours," Dad added, as he peered behind her.

"They would be here tomorrow," Dora said in reply to both their questions, beaming. "I couldn't wait, so I left earlier."

"If it isn't the goat," Elvis's voice boomed from above us as he descended the stairs.

"Bro, bro! My money brother." She exclaimed in excitement before she pulled him in for an embrace.

"How have you been goat." He laughed and ruffled her tightly braided hair.

"Ouch, stop that, it hurts," She spoke after which she disentangled herself from the hug and swatted his palm off her hair.

"It hurt that bad?" He quizzed, chuckling.

"Yes." She pouted in retort.

"Sorry," He apologized.

"Have fun children, we're having dinner with some friends," Mom voiced out as she intertwined her arm with dad's and headed for the door.

"See y'all later, gotta hang," Elvis spoke a few seconds after they had exited. "With Frank."

"Haaa!" Dora exclaimed, followed by a sharp intake of breath.

"Oops," I squeaked, as I was sure about what was to come.

"You mean, the Frank?" She inquired, shock evident on her face.

I kept my mouth shut and nodded in response because I knew she wouldn't like to be interrupted.

Elvis himself snickered as he stepped past us in the path of the door.

"Tall, light-skinned Frank?" Dora doubted, her tone a bit higher.

I murmured a "yes," in affirmation.

"With the pink lips and dread like Harmony had described?" She implored, about to explode.

"Yup!" Harmony replied, saving me from answering that as I shifted a little, hence I knew she was gonna blow in three, two, one--

"Eeek." She squealed and yanked me in for a hug where she nearly squeezed me to death.

"Can't, breathe," I wheezed.

She is short but damn she could nuzzle like Harmony.

"Can't wait to feast my eyes on him." She smirked, after releasing me.

"Finally." I sighed, able to fill my lungs with air.

It was at that same moment, the door Elvis went through opened, and in came the best guys in the world.

Do you know why I called them the best? Well, that was because they knew what keeps their momma happy and that was---

"Food!" Dora cried out the instant her eyes landed on the Crunchies labeled cellophane bag.

Yep, my boys brought me food, how great was that?

"Throw it." I mouthed to Ifeanyi.

"What?" Tony asked confused as to why my mouth was making weird shapes instead of sounds.

"Throw it, you idiot!" I groaned out in frustration when none of them caught on at what I was doing and Dora dived for the food bag.

"Yes!" I squealed in delight when she missed it and the bag bounced off her hands because Ifeanyi threw it up the exact moment her hands almost reached it.

Being the tall girl I was compared to Dora, I jumped high and caught the bag skillfully with a big grin on my face.

"Oh no you don't," I heard Dora mutter, which was a little too late for me hence the next thing I knew I was tackled to the ground with a heavyweight on my stomach.

"What the," I moaned as I felt a slight pain though I wasn't letting her get the whole bag.

"Dude it wasn't for you!" I glared at her.

"Well I'm your houseguest so show a little hospitality," She responded with a glare of her own.

"But it's my food!" I whined, pouting.

"But I'm hungry!" She whined back.

"Why don't you just, share?" Blake suggested while he gave us both a knowing look since he's experienced this countless times as he's been friends with Elvis for years now.

Come to think of it I didn't know he was there until he spoke.

"Huh?" I and Dora polled at the exact time.

"They are two! I repeat, they are two!" Tony suddenly screamed,  running around in circles as if the house was on fire.

"Dude! Calm down!" Harmony chuckled. "This is a normal occurrence when both of them are in the same room."

"Oh my GOD, what am I gonna do, what am I gonna do!" He wailed hysterically, shaking Ifeanyi's shoulders in panic which I didn't blame him for as he hadn't experienced Christmas with my family due to the fact he always traveled to his maternal home with his parents for the holidays so he wasn't used to how weird I was when combined with Dora.

"Snap out of it!" Ifeanyi said, giving him a resounding slap to shake him out of his hysterics.

"Thank you." He nodded.

"You're welcome." Ifeanyi grinned.

"The baby is here!" Tenda announced as she catwalked confidently past the door, flipping her hair in the process.

"Good, now handle your boyfriend." Ifeanyi voiced out and pushed Tony towards her.

"What is the problem baby," Tenda asked in a squishy voice after she embraced him and placed his head on her bosom.

"Babe, they are two of them, the food monsters are two." He sobbed. Tenda rolled her eyes at him and soothingly pathed his back, the way you do to a crying baby to lull them to sleep.

"Does this happen often?" Dora questioned as she got off me to stare between Tenda and Tony with an uncertain expression on her face.

"You have no idea how frequently that happens." Blake scoffed in reply, unknowingly standing a bit too close to Dora while she expertly leaned into his chest but not too expertly for me to notice even though the rest of our audience were oblivious to what was going on as Ifeanyi rolled his eyes with a "yep" and Harmony nodded.

"Now, back to our food," I blurted and this snapped the love birds away from each other. "Harmony get us two plates."

"But-- He tried objecting, rather he got cut off when Dora stopped him with a glare. "Yes ma'am." He obeyed and speed-walked to the kitchen to do as told

"Sharwama, hmm," Dora moaned in delight and sent a wink my way as she joined me where I sat on the floor and divided it into parts.

"Now introduce yourselves," She commanded, licking away the mayonnaise that dripped on her finger after we'd split it equally.

"Not you Tenda, come join us, I love you already." She winked and motioned for Tenda to meet us on the floor.

"Why not us!" Ifeanyi howled when he observed the food was slowly disappearing before his very eyes.

"That's because, one, I don't know your name and I don't share my food with strangers, I hardly do that with friends not to talk of people whom I don't know their names," She started, "And secondly, after you tell me your names, you're still not getting a taste of this." She ended in a shrug.

"Well, I'm Tony, and this child right here." He signaled to Ifeanyi, "Is Ifeanyi."

"But you just acted as the child a few minutes ago." Dora voiced out. This made him shut up and frown afterward.

"Oops." I giggled, the same time Blake coughed and Harmony laughed, while Tenda offered Dora a high-five.

"Babe!" Tony whined again like a baby which elicited a shrug from Tenda as she struggled to hold in her laugh.

"Well," He cleared his throat. "Back to the introduction, this quiet one here is Bl___

"Blake," Dora completed, cutting off his introduction once again.

"Dude, you grew a billion times hotter." She continued as she gave Blake a once-over. "Take a look at that fine jaw and those shoulders, damn!"

Saying this, she slowly waltzed to where he stood and ran her finger along his jawline after which she leaned on her tiptoes and bit it lightly, causing the sensitive skin of his jaw to turn slightly red.

Tenda choked, as Tony and Harmony coughed while Ifeanyi stood speechless.

"Now I know why they call you goat." Ifeanyi blurted the moment he finally found his voice. This made Blake flush due to the unexpected attention he was getting.

I squealed internally at his cuteness before I shook my head and said, "Let's go have some Christmas vibes people!"

"Yay!" They all yelled in response as Tenda, Dora, and I got up from where we were settled on the rug and followed the guys

out the door, in excitement, before I could say mall
