Chapter 419: Chapter 419
In the bathroom, it was pitch black, and Adrian Walyon didn’t speak after her words. Tʜe source of this ᴄontent ɪs 𝔫𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔩·𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢·𝔫𝔢𝔱
Summer Sutton could feel him staring at her, his gaze as hot as the August sun, as if it could penetrate the darkness and see her completely.
"I haven’t finished my shower yet..." Summer Sutton’s voice suddenly became very small.
"I’ll help you!" Adrian Walyon slowly walked towards her, navigating the darkness by instinct to reach her side, cornering her in the shower. His hand explored her, turning on the shower, and his palm slowly moved over her body, helping to wash off the foam.
His movements were very slow, carefully wiping off all the foam from Summer Sutton’s body. His hands felt around the bathroom for a while until he found a bathrobe, which he used as a towel to dry the water droplets off her, but he didn’t put it on her.
Summer Sutton was momentarily stunned and looked up at him.
In the darkness, neither of them could see each other’s eyes, yet it felt as if the room was brightly lit. Just a gaze was enough for both to understand what they wanted to convey.
"Summer..." Adrian Walyon softly called her name, took a step forward, pressing her against the glass wall behind her, and gently tilted her chin as his lips slowly met hers.
Summer Sutton draped her arms over his shoulders, allowing him to kiss her, and she leaned in to kiss him back.
Following the motion, Adrian Walyon lifted her up, allowing her arms to wrap around his neck, embracing her with varying intensity...
The two stayed in the bathroom for quite a while, not coming out for more than two hours.
Summer Sutton’s hair was still damp. She glanced at him, whose shower had gone unfinished and was now soaked too, and laughed heartily, "Look at you! Haha..."
Adrian Walyon gave her a sidelong glance, the curve of his lips carrying deep meaning, "Worth it."
Being wet was nothing compared to the satisfaction of the past two hours, making it worthwhile for Adrian Walyon.
Summer Sutton met his gaze and suddenly fell silent.
The power in the villa was still out, and her hair was still wet. Adrian Walyon, afraid she’d catch a cold, helped her dress properly before leaving the room, "I’ll go check what’s going on."
As he went downstairs, the seventy-year-old landlady sat in the courtyard, seemingly helpless.
"What’s going on?" Adrian Walyon asked with a glance at her.
"It’s an old issue; the wiring in this old house isn’t good." The elder shook her head in resignation.
It was Summer Sutton who had chosen this place tonight. Since they encountered issues, it served her right.
Accepting it, Adrian Walyon rolled up his sleeves and asked the elderly woman, "Do you have a flashlight? Let me check it out for you."
"Yes, I do!" she replied, fumbling into the house to find a flashlight and handed it to him.
Adrian Walyon, with the flashlight in hand, went to the junction box.
Standing tall and fiddling with something, within just a few minutes, the villa that had been without power for hours brightened up instantly.
The elderly woman was particularly happy, expressing much praise for Adrian Walyon.
"Oh, whose exceptional young man is this? He’s good-looking and even understands such professional matters, truly omnipotent!"
Just then, Summer Sutton happened to come downstairs, poking her head in their direction, and she replied with a wide smile, "Grandma, he’s mine! He’s mine!"
Fearing the old lady might not hear clearly, she repeated it several times.
As she spoke, she seemed a bit proud, lifting her little chin smugly, her expression showing a hint of showing off.
