Chapter 21

~Timber POV~

“Warriors…” I started off saying to the men in front of me. “... thank you for being willing to try out these new stealth uniforms for Andreas and I.” smiling as I looked each one in the eye and then a side look to Andreas standing beside me.

“It is an honor Luna to have been selected.” one of the warriors said. “Who are we going to train with Luna?” another asked.

“You will be training with me today.” pausing as I saw a look of concern in their eyes as they looked from me to Johnathon standing a distance off and then back to me. “Do not worry. You cannot harm me…” they looked confused at that statement. “And. I will try NOT to hurt you.” Then, a little amused with the next statement, as if I said something entertaining.

“Just remember we are needing your honest feedback about how you feel and like the additions added to your uniforms.” noticing their lack of understanding since they look the same as before I continued with, “I have woven part of my elemental essence into the fibers of the uniforms you are now wearing. This should allow for extra protection while fighting anyone with magical elemental gifts.” smiling at them again while my hands stayed folded in front of me.

“So, you want us to be your test subjects? To see if the essence helps or protects us from elemental gifts?” The same warrior as before asked. He must be the head warrior or something.

“Exactly what we want you to do, Jackson.” Andreas speaking up for confirmation. The men nod at him, then me before Andreas walks over to where Johnathon was standing arms crossed looking all intimidating like usual. Goodness he’s eatably gorgeous when he stands that way.

Get your head in the game Timber. No time for shenanigans. I told myself.

We start off pretty easy like. I didn’t want to hurt them if the essence didn’t work or takes a minute to be activated. After the first few moments the men just lunged at me like I had expected. Holding up my hand in boredom, I froze them in place mid-air. Just as I was thinking this was going to be too easy and the essence didn’t work I noticed a slight flicker of ‘something’.

‘Uh oh! The freezing didn’t take!’ I heard Karin say in my mind. Just as she was saying it I moved to the right to avoid getting pounded. That was… unexpected. I thought to myself.

‘That was new. Karin, I think the essence had to be awakened to be useful?’ having a brief conversation with my wolf.

‘Possibly? Be careful Timber. You do not know what they’ll be able to do now that it’s awake.’ She said concerned for the unknown. ‘I know Karin. I will. You just guide and help me ok?’ telling her to stay on guard.

‘You know I will.’ she replied before standing alert.

During my conversation with Karin I watched the warriors gather around me like a cage. It reminded me of when the boys would try that with me during their practice. A smirk crawled on my face knowing what to expect.

They came at me from three sides. Two in human forms the third shifted in air into his wolf. A big one at that. Although not as big as Johnathon’s but big still.

They lunged at the same time from all sides towards me, but catching them by surprise I threw energy balls at them causing them to stop briefly. It didn’t do as well as I had hoped… they got up quickly and slammed right into me!

The wolf was trying to sink his teeth in me while the other two were punching me in various places at the same time. I could feel myself growing angry as I threw the wolf off me and hit the humans harder with a larger energy burst, throwing them from me.

I felt the elements surging through me as my emotions started to take over. I watched as the three of them got up, shaking off the energy wave from them, all having shifted in the process. All three of them now are in wolf form. I could see in their eyes they were getting upset. Snarling with teeth bared. Eyes fierce with fire. Their wolves seem agitated by this new type of training.

Little did they know. I haven’t even begun to use half of my force on them. Let them be upset. Because I’m more unsettled! Oh it’s on now and we're about to see what these uniforms can actually do!

The wolves ran and lunched towards me again. I threw energy balls at them in an exploding fashion. Not just water energy, but fire, earth and wind. I threw mixtures of the four too doing everything and anything to slow them down and see what their suits would protect them from.

Everytime I changed the type of energy it would work for a moment and stun them. After that, it was as though the suits would absorb it and adapt. That is a good thing but not for me right now. I’m fighting for my life as they continue to lunge and snap at me angrily.

One wolf grabbed hold of my ankle causing a surge of energy to heighten around me and he let go from its intensity. Starting to back up I could tell they were communicating with each other as their heads turned to the right and left then nodded. It was interesting to see how warriors communicated in wolf form to strategize. Although it made me wonder what they were up to, I increased awareness just in case.

When all three started to circle and lunch forward I let all the energies take over. Lifting me off the ground, arms out, palms up. I could feel the wind picking up as my hair swayed behind me. My eyes burning with all of the energies emerging as one. Feeling all of the energies taking over.

Allowing it to engulf me, I clasped my hands forward as quickly as I could letting the energy leave me in massive waves. Knocking down everyone and everything in its path. Once the threat was knocked down, I descended back to the ground looking around at the destruction I had just caused.

The three warriors who were fighting me were now knocked on the ground. I could tell they were relatively fine, except for some confusion as they held their heads in their hands while shaking the intensity of the wave off. Having been forced into shifting back into their human bodies.

Sitting in the dirt still in their uniforms. Interesting. Very interesting.

“Thank you warriors for doing this today. We will debrief after you have time to shower and discuss your thoughts of the training with each other.” I said before walking away towards my ruggedly handsome mate. A smile clearly evident on my face as I did.

The ones not wearing the new uniforms? Well they needed medical attention right away. I saw about thirty or more men lying unconscious on the ground around us. Lifting my eyes I met Johnathons beautiful green orbs still sitting on the ground resting his arms on his bent knees. He too was starting to get up with Andreas, after being knocked backwards. Not harmed, thank the Moon Goddess.

I heard him thank everyone and request for a doctor. Then turn to Andreas and shake his hand in approval of what we have done with the uniforms. That’s my big bad Alpha. Still smiling to myself.

“Alright. So it looks as though weaving the essence into the uniforms will prove helpful to the men. Apparently it adapts as new power shifts hit? Which… could really be a good thing especially since Shamira is extremely volatile and dangerous.” I said to Johnathon and Andreas as we sat in the office discussing today’s training.

“How are the men who weren’t wearing the new uniforms? Didn’t hurt them too badly did I?” feeling bad about hurting those training without the essence woven uniforms.

“No, they're fine. Besides, if they can’t hold their own by now then we’re all in trouble. So, don’t worry. Anyway, the doctor said they’ll heal quickly. Thank the Moon Goddess they weren’t any closer to you or it may have been worse than concussions.” Andreas teased while smirking half way through his statement. I still feel really bad. Especially since I hit them while angry.

We heard a knock on the door grabbing our attention to it as Andreas spoke. “Enter men.” As if on cue, the three warriors I trained with stepped into the office cleaned and changed. Nodding their respect to the Alpha and I, they sat down in the empty seats across from us as directed by Andreas’ hand.

“Men.” Johnathon started as he spoke. “We would like to thank you for being willing to train with your Luna today. And most importantly doing so while allowing us to observe a new type of stealth material for everyone.”

“Thank you Alpha for the honor.” they replied in unison. Looking over to me quickly before turning their attention back to him. I nodded and smiled at them.

“The reason we have called you here this afternoon is to find out from your point of view how training went today using the new uniforms.” Johnathon continued. “Please… be honest so we know how to proceed with our next step of implementation.” he continued to assure them honesty was best right now. Not what we wanted to hear but what we needed to hear. The men looked at each other for a moment before starting.

“When you froze us it was like time stood still. I, we...” looking at the others in accordance as they nodded to him, “couldn’t do anything but stare at the Luna.” Jackson stated before another interrupted with, “well.. at first.” Nodding to each other again.

“What do you mean… ‘at first’?” Johnathon asked, knowing exactly what it feels like to be suspended in mid-air by her.

“It was like being pushed through the air slowly moving but having no control over it.” Jackson spoke up again. “When she tried to do it again, we could feel it trying to stop us, but it was like we could just…” stopping for the words. I sat forward, interested in their confessions.

“Like our bodies could ignore the command?”another spoke up.

“Was it like that everytime I sent something new and then repeated the process? I’m sorry, what's your name?” I finally spoke up, now intrigued about their experience with it.

“I’m Thatcher Luna. And yes ma’am just as you said. It was like we could feel the first hit very strongly… then not so much with the next?” he said in confirmation. Johnathon, Andreas and I looked at each other and smiled while I leaned back against the chair again.

“Truthfully Alpha, Luna… it wasn’t until Luna hit us with an extremely large surge that our wolves became angry and took complete control.” feeling bad about that truth I shook my head looking down briefly. “My apologies for that. My emotions started to take over as well. They are tied to the elements.” I said looking each of them in the eye and nodded once to each of them.

“Anything else you would like to share about your experience today?” Andreas prompted before dismissing was permitted for us to speak again.

“Yes sir. We also noticed that when we shifted back… well we were still dressed in the uniforms? That has never happened before.” Jackson spoke. Telling the same observation I had had when I walked away from them earlier today.

“It was like the uniform shifted with us, although it wasn’t visible? So our wolves were also protected from the energies being released.” Thatcher tried to clarify the comment. I noticed they all nodded in agreement at the statement too. This made me wonder how it was possible. I know the perfect person to ask.

“Well Thank you men for your honest and helpful input. You are excused to go about your daily duties.” Johnathan and Andreas stood to shake hands with them before they left.

“And men?” Johnathon said stopping before exiting fully. “Keep those new uniforms on. They’re yours. You’ve earned them.” he said, giving them a nod and a smile.

“Thank you Alpha! Luna!” was all that was heard as they exited and Johnathon closed the door behind them, having a seat thinking.

“Well, I don’t know about you Andreas, but Bane and I were very impressed with his Luna.” Johnathon finally said. Staring at me like I was about to get devoured any minute. A tasty after dinner snack. His eyes flickering back and forth as Bane pushed through to share the space.

My face was heating up enough to know it was turning a nice rose color. His look alone made a pool to form down under causing me to shift in my seat a little and squeeze.

After gaining full control of himself Johanthon became serious, responding with, “Andreas, I would like for you to start gathering all the uniforms we have in the Southern territory for the enhancements. After we add them here, Timber will hit them all at once with her gift to activate them.” he finished by standing up heading for the door.

“I will also need to make sure when I hit them it is with all the elemental energies in force for the best protection. And we will need them moving so I can freeze them for that part to be activated as well. We don’t know exactly which part of the gifts Shamira has so we want to make them adaptable to everything I have since I will have access to the same gift or gifts as hers.” I stated rather bluntly for clarification of what was really needed for hundred percent coverage.

“Timber’s right. In order to have to put anyone inside all the uniforms being activated, we could use that old baseball self hitter machine to throw them at her. That should work for a moving target right?” I nodded in agreement and thought that that was a pretty good solution to myself.

“Yes Alpha. I can make that happen” Andreas nodded also with acceptance. “What about the men already dispersed around the rest of the territory?” he asked. Trying not to look as if he is questioning his Alpha but asking out of confirmation for the rest of the warriors he was responsible for.

“You will send the ready improved and enhanced uniforms to them while retrieving thiers to be brought back here to also receive the new upgrades.” nodding his head in my direction, I stood up walking towards Johnathon as we left the Stealth Lab office together.

“You’ve been very bad, lil Luna. What am I to do with you I wonder?” he said huskily while sniffing my neck deeply.

I suddenly felt my stomach clench as my core became wet and pulsated with anticipation of my punishment. “I am sure you’ll think of something” I said sultry right before we disappeared from the training grounds.
