I met her after the first war with the lycans and fellows vampires like us fighting its kind, I agreed am ready to have a child of my own.

I made the decision when I discovered I truly love her, she was the second person who won my heart after Lina.

Eucharia wasn't a very powerful witch but just a regular witch who has a good heart, many were against it but they had to respect her because I was Primus and they wouldn't want to face my wrath.

"Eucharia there is something I would love to share with you", I said to her while putting on my clothes after having sex with her.

" Is there anything troubling your heart my love", she replied.

"I won't call it trouble, my dearest, it's something that can bring joy to us both", I added.

" Let it out, am all ears", she agreed to listen to everything I had to say.

"I would love us to have a child dear, let's make a family, am ready now", I said kissing her cheek.

I couldn't believe her reaction, she was laughing way hard," Oh my love, you know we can't have a child moreover I know there is a way but am just a regular witch and the elders won't do the mixture or spells that I can use to get pregnant for you", she said.

"That's not a problem", I said to her.

" I have the mixture, my late cousin Freya gave me as a gift to use whenever am ready and now am ready, so here you go drink from the bottle", I handed it to her.

She was really happy, seems she loves the plan of having a child as well, she said some spells before taking the whole of it.

A few months later, the pregnancy was revealing and we kinda have peace a little, I was the happiest person knowing my love will be bearing a child for me soon.

"Finally she put to bed a bouncing baby boy and we named you Dimitro", I said looking at my son wearing a smile on my face.

" Father what happened next because none of this stuff you said explained the fact that I am a Hybrid now", He said with a sad countenance.

"I will always say the word patience. You just completed two years when we left you in your room to sleep, but I perceived a presence in your room".

" Eucharia did you send anyone to Dimitro room?".

"No my love, Dimitro is fast asleep and I can assure you no one is in his room okay, I miss you though, been long we had sex ", she said trying to kiss me.

I started kissing her but then we heard the cry of Dimitro in his room, I used my speed to get to his room then I saw a lady with an empty syringe, she just injected Dimitro and then I remembered what Freya told me about the prophecy.

I held the lady's neck and discovered she is a witch, my love came in and carried Dimitro to stop crying.

" You little witch, what did you do to my son?" I asked her with anger written all over my face.

"I know you are a witch like me, please what did you do to my son, he's just a baby", Eucharia asked with sadness.

" Am sorry but I was told to inject him, he will be dead soon, sorry for that", the witch said.

I hit her and about to hit her again when my love stopped me and said, " No need for torture my love, you are a vampire, compel her and find out the truth, let's know who the enemy is and if there is a cure for my son, I can't lose him, I can't", she started crying.

I made the little witch focus with my eyes and then I said to her, "Tell me who sent you to kill my son, and also is there any cure to save him from this sudden death you brought upon him"

To my greatest surprise, the compulsion didn't work on her, I know when someone is on Vervain, compulsion can't work or maybe compelled by someone powerful as I or she is dead already, I thought of the whole thing.

Then she said, "No, I did the spell correctly, he should have been dead by now", she pointed and then she screamed, "Oh no, I did the spell for the werewolf blood to kill him but instead he has become an abomination", she said before she started bleeding all over and died.

I rushed to check Dimitro body temperature," My love Is it true what she said that my son is an abomination now, a hybrid?", she said still crying.

"This can't be the help you promise Freya, why didn't you tell me saving him will make him an abomination, will he ever be Primus after I meet my end", I cried leaving the spot to the bush.

I thought over everything," Unknow enemy come out and face me now, you took everything from me, now my son, the joy I have is a hybrid that might be rejected by his subjects soon. Come out and fight me now, come out!!", I yelled.

We then decided to keep it a secret not until when some observant vampire and witches started observing some strange things about you mostly your eyeballs that trigger the eyes of a wolf.

I had to visit Freya's residence, I knew where she kept some of her stuff when she was still alive, maybe we can find a remedy.

Going through Freya stuff, there was no spell for a cure but there is a way we can hide the powers from manifesting though not for long.

The ritual requires lots of elements, my blood, Eucharia blood, and human blood, luckily I still have some humans blood I stored from the other world.

Your mother did the spell for binding your powers and you will be a vampire as supposed and not a hybrid for some time. This also made your mother become a powerful witch with the aid of Freya spellbooks.

We tried searching for what can take out the hybrid permanently but were not found, we were happy that no one will ever know this about your birth.

I finished the story and said, " I feel you are what you are for a purpose which you will soon find out", I said to him.

Tears filled his eyes and I knew he needed a hug, I opened and hug him.

Then one of our kinds came in a hurry saying, "Primus the war has taken another dimension".

" What do you mean?", I asked him.

" The witches are back from exile and joined the war, they are not on anyone side, some vampires and lycans got killed by them as well", he said.

"Father we have a war to fight now, I think a very strong for this", Dimitro said.

" My prince, I saw you're...", he stammered and shiver in fear.

"Speak", my son said.

" I saw Esther, your ex-lover that died"...

The suspense-filled the air.
