I know how hard it is for my son now to hear from his father that he's a hybrid.

I watch him as he fell on his knees trying to take in what I just said.

"Dimitro" I called. He raised his head to look at me.

"Come with me let me tell you how everything happened, you are not to be blamed for any of this, your father is to be blamed", I said to him.

" No one is to be blamed father, just tell me how I became the abomination", he replied.

"I forbid you to call yourself an abomination okay, I won't accept that from you my son", I yelled at him.

" Father am all ears, we don't have the whole day to talk and you know that the war has not ended yet", he said to me and I nodded.

It all started before I met your mother, I was with my cousin Freya at her coven, remember I said she is my favorite.

"Cousin won't you love to have a child of your own", Freya asked me.

" I once thought of that you know, but I would love to when I find the right person, I can't impregnate a woman you know that", I said to her

"Come on, we both know if you wish to, just for me to create a mixture and do some spells for her to drink, and then she can conceive for you", she added.

" True cousin but you know how bad your people find it for coming to see you here,won't they be angry if they knew you are doing that Freya", I said to her.

"Do you trust me Juan", she asked and I nodded, " Then leave this for me to handle and you better get going before your father starts looking for you, that's if your brother has created a scene", we both laughed.

On a particular night I received a message from my cousin in form of a letter using her magic, she wants me to meet up with her.

At the spot, she asked me to wait for her, she came and joined me, " Is there anything happening cousin?", I asked because I was worried.

"Nothing is happening okay, just have a gift for you even when I know today isn't your birthday", she said smiling holding something she wrapped.

" Freya my lovely cousin, what are you up to this time around hum?", I asked.

" Here you go", she handed over the stuff to me she was holding.

" What could this be?", I asked her when opening the stuff and seeing a mixture.

" I promised you Juan that you will have a child of your own remember!", she said raising her eyebrow.

"Oh are you serious right now, I can't believe this cousin, Freya you are the best but I still feel am not ready yet, or am I being selfish now", I said calmly to her.

" Not at all cousin, having a child comes with much responsibility and you know that let's do it this way, keep my gift to you somewhere safe and make use of it when you are ready okay", she said holding my shoulder.

"Thanks, cousin I don't know what I would have done without you", I said to her.

" Now give your cousin a hug", she said to me and I did hug her.

" I think I better get going, you know my father is so upset with Rodriguez right now, his punishment might be worst this time around may be locked in the coffin", I said to her but she acted like she doesn't care.

" Well that's good for him, his stubborn you know that, and you are so different from him, he doesn't even regard me as a cousin, I don't know why you even care for him", she said folding her hands and rolling her eyeballs.

" He's my blood brother Freya, you of all people should know that, I know you and your sister that is the Regent of the coven is not on good terms with you but that doesn't mean true love for your bloodline is lost okay, I know your sister loves you so much", I said to her?

"Well is right to love your brother, I understand that thank you for loving me like your real sister even when I know am just your cousin but my sister is a different case, you need to see the way she talks to me at the coven meeting, is it because she is a regent now, am just an elder, that's not fair, all I know you are the family I cherish now", she said looking sad.

" I know father will punish me but come here cousin, I love you okay," I said to her.

She took my hands to reply then she started fidgeting," Freya what's happening to you, Freya", I became so scared, have never seen her like this, her eyes became so white and after some minutes she became calm.

"Freya are you alright, thank goodness your eyes are normal", I said with relief.

" Am fine now, I had a prophecy, a blood bath will happen in the future, though a lot of war must have taken place before this I don't understand".

"Be calm Freya no war is going to happen okay, we all are at peace", I convinced her.

" I saw your unborn baby got injected by one of us with a spell to kill him, someone might want to hurt your child in the future", she said and I know am not yet a father but I became concerned for my unborn son.

"What!!, my son can't die, no can you do something", I asked her.

"Sure, I will be able to do something, when the time comes the witch will make a mistake in the spell and it will result in something powerful okay", I was relieved when she said this and we bid goodbye to our various comfort.

" Dad am confused, I thought Freya died, what am I even saying, she is a living dead anyway", Dimitro said stopping the story I was telling him.

"Patience son, this happened before we saw the mystery door before I saw Lina my first love but I never used the mixture with her".

" Freya is powerful indeed", my son said.

"Yes she is a powerful witch, her bloodline is the foundation of the witches, their powers are unique as well", I said to Dimitro.

" My life has been threatened before I was born right, so what happened next, you said my mother was a witch right?", he asked.

"Yes, your mother was a witch, after, Rodriguez, Freya, and my father's death, then after losing Lina and moving on, I decide to have a child of my own that was when I met your mother Eucharia.

I met her after the first war with the lycans and fellows vampires like us fighting its kind, I agreed am ready to have a child of my own.
