Chapter 51: Chapter 51

*Mridula Pov*

I continued to take deep breaths and just paced in the room, placing one hand over my belly and the other behind my back hoping it will finish soon.

“If it is a girl, then you are not going to name her.” I said looking at Tajwar through gritted teeth feeling the contraction.

“If it is a boy, then you are not going to name him. I hated your suggestions for Nivaan.” I said, pointing at Aahil, who frowned back at me.

“I can name him or her?” Dileep asked smiling.

“You are not going to name anyone.” I replied and gave a small scream and started taking a few deeper breaths.

I stared at Tajwar before adding, “I know I shouldn’t think like all that, but at present I don’t care about right or wrong.”

“What do you mean? Oh! Now I get it. I don’t think he will name your daughter as Lavanya, Mridula.” Dileep said shaking his head.

“If! If it is a girl.” I said stressing the words.

“I want a daughter while she is wishing for a son.” Tajwar explained my defensiveness.

“How typical!” Nipuna mumbled, shaking her head.

“Yeah! Every father wants a daughter while every Mom wants a son.” Aahil said shaking his head.

“Our reasons are different.” I mumbled and gripped my belly.

“I am wishing for a daughter because of Nipuna.” Tajwar said and Nipuna immediately shouted at him ‘what!’

“If it’s a boy, then the feminism rules Aahna will learn from Nipuna will make her rule our son whenever they play. However, if it’s a girl, then Aahna will get her into her wing and will get some great things to learn.” Tajwar explained.

“However, I don’t want to burden Nivaan with taking care of both his sisters. So, if it’s a boy, then Nivaan and he can look after Aahna.” I said and felt everyone staring at both of us.

“This couple is crazier than us. Who thinks this much for just a baby?” Nipuna said, shaking her head before holding it.

“It’s time!” I mumbled and immediately everyone shouted for a doctor.

Before I know, I got taken to the other room, and if I thought the pain, I felt, until now, is more then I can’t explain the pain I am feeling at present.

“Ahh!” I shouted and heard Premila mom, my mom and Tajwar trying to soothe me with words.

“It is a girl!” those words made me smile, and I turned to look at Tajwar with half-opened eyes.

“You name her! I don’t care about anything now and will be happy with everything but just don’t let Dileep name her.” I mumbled before falling into an unconscious state.

I opened my eyes and slowly blinked before turning my right hearing little sounds to see Tajwar sitting in a chair holding a small bundle, and I blinked again to see that it is our daughter.

“Hey!” he said when he realized I woke up and walked near to me.

“Meet our daughter, Urmila.” He added before placing her in my arms when I slowly moved to sit up.

“Why that name?” I asked him to smile at our daughter who is blinking her eyes at me.

“Do you know why you got your name?” he asked back and I shook my head frowning at his question.

“Your Mom wanted it to be a little similar to my Mom who was like a mother to her. I thought why not we do the same thing and thought like that. If you want, you can change it.” He said smiling.

“Urmi! I liked the nickname.” I said, smiling back at him.

“Everyone is waiting to see you.” He said and called everyone inside, ignoring the protests from the nurse and instructed everyone to stay little away from the bed to calm the nurse.

“You got your wish, Tajwar.” Premila Mom said smiling.

“Poor Nivaan! I can totally see him future.” Nipuna said, smirking at Dileep.

“Yeah! I called Amrin and said this, but she just laughed.” Dileep said shaking his head.

“You are crazy, Dileep. However, Amrin is crazier for letting go of your craziness in the open area.” Nipuna said rolling her eyes at him.

“You both don’t start now. And let Mridula take some rest.” Premila Mom said before, everyone walked away after looking at Urmila once again.

“Are you happy, Mridula?” Tajwar asked, staring at me.

“How many times do I just have to tell you, Tajwar? I wanted this, and it happened with our wishes. Please forget about all those words I said a year back.” I replied frowning.

“Ok! Now, we will forget everything except our daughter and see whose features she has.” He said sitting beside me, and I laughed at him before we started doing it until she drifted off into sleep after I fed her.

“We have come so far with so many things in our lives right? I mean we got through so many things.” I said leaning my head on his shoulder and held his hand.

“Yes! It’s been really a dramatic one and let’s see what else is there in the future." He said smiling at me.

“I am ready for it. You never leave this hand.” I said smiling back.

“I couldn’t live leaving this hand at all.” He mumbled back and kissed me holding me knowing well, we will be fine no matter what.

*Abhivanth Pov*

“I have decided to leave my job and if possible just look after a little part of our company. However, only if Dileep doesn't mind.” I said when we all sat for dinner after a few days since Mridula returned with Urmila.

“Dad! You are the one who invested in it. It will be always yours.” Dileep said in a serious tone.

“It means a lot to hear you say that, but still I just need a small job so that I can spend more time with my grandchildren.” I said smiling.

“You mean there will be no more relations with the government to show our royalty?” Nipuna asked frowning.

“No! I can see that the true royalty is somewhere else.” I replied, staring at my family before my eyes.

“Is it really you talking like this?” Premila joked, and everyone laughed.

“I am delighted that you are leaving that royalty thing. It sure became adverse in this family until now.” Nipuna said shaking her head.

“Nipuna! If you think we have become adverse, then you will have no words to think about my old classmate royalty nature.” I said smiling.

“Why?” Mridula asked, frowning.

“He is at present the king in his place and monarchy is being followed in his small island. We can’ even describe the rules at all.” I replied shaking my head.

“Really? Then it will be interesting to know more about them or even meet them.” Nipuna said smiling at us.

“Why don’t you insult that king, Nipuna?” Dileep asked laughing.

“I have something which you don’t have, Dileep. I have something called brain and know what to do and what not to do.” Nipuna said glaring at him.

I just wish there never comes any chance for us to even meet them. It still gives me creeps thinking about his kingdom’s rules and everything.

Maybe they have been changed by now. Who cares? I thought, shaking my head and smiled at the family who is the reason for me to be proud of. Then I glanced at Premila feeling elated to know that we are having our own happy life.

“Love won over royalty and everything else, Abhivanth.” Premila said glancing back at me.

“I know! And I am glad that it did.” I said smiling.

“I am pleased that you feel glad about it. Otherwise, I would have tortured you for sure.” She said smiling, and I laughed shaking my head.

I am really lucky! I thought, smiling to myself and dived into the discussions going around the table knowing well not to miss a moment in the life with them for anything.
