Chapter 50: Chapter 50

*Mridula Pov*

“Now, we need not act at all.” Amrin said, sighing in relief when I entered the kitchen along with them.

“Now, we really need to learn properly.” Nipuna said in a sad tone.

“What are you talking about?” I asked them frowning.

“It was a simple plan of ours to make Aunty bring you back home. We all know that you 're well practiced with all the work in the house. So, we both started making all the mistakes as much as we can and started saying we are not Mridula to do it correctly.” Nipuna explained in a whisper.

“Actually, I was the one who was making mistakes wontedly, but she was doing it without her hand in it.” Amrin said to which Nipuna slapped her shoulder, and I laughed shaking my head.

“It is ok, Nipuna. I will take care of arranging things.” I said, assuring her.

“And I will take care of cooking.” Amrin said nodding at her.

“And I will order you both.” Nipuna said grinning.

“Then I will have no work left.” We heard another voice and turned to see Aunty walking inside the kitchen.

“Then I will assist you in ordering, Aunty.” Nipuna said, shrugging to which I laughed.

“Why don’t you three start calling me Mom, if you can? I am already bored with the word you are using.” Aunty said walking towards the fridge.

“Ok, Mom!” I said, smiling while Amrin stood in her place looking away.

“I know I was really harsh to you. I will hope you can feel comfortable near me soon.” Mo said smiling at Amrin.

“Ok! Shall I make some coffee for us, Mom?” Amrin said little hesitatingly at the end.

“Sure! I can’t start anything without it.” She said, nodding and I walked outside into the garden to see, how were my plants in my absence.

“I took care of them, Mridula.” Mom said following me into the garden and smiled at me.

“Yeah! I missed all of them.” I said smiling back before glancing at each one of them.

“You are here wishing with your whole heart right?” she suddenly asked.

“Yes! He loves me, Aunty.” I said and scratched my neck remembering that I have to greet her as Mom now.

“I understood when I saw the tears in his eyes that he loves you more than anything. I am glad everything settled, Mridula.” She said smiling before walking away.

“I can’t believe they all left for their work today itself. Even Tajwar didn’t stay back to take a rest for today.” Amrin said, frowning at us when we three sat near the couch area.

“And?” Nipuna asked, raising her eyebrow.

“There is something cooking.” She said, shaking her head.

“You know!” I said, looking at Mom who is walking near to us with a smile.

“Yes! Let all of them come.” She said shrugging.

“When did they all talked without us?” Nipuna asked me in a whisper.

I shrugged, but then remember him missing for some time, but I drifted back and felt him near me after some time.

“How much time will you all take?” Nipuna asked, frowning at the guys who are sitting before us at present.

I continued to stare at Tajwar thinking he will say something, but he actually has a grumpy look over his face.

“We know that we recently took a small holiday but are thinking why not go for another, but to different places by each couple separately?” Dileep said and we three just sat in silence not knowing what to say.

“Dileep! There is no kid here, I mean the one who is a kid and is sleeping peacefully. So, say it clearly that you are talking about Honeymoon.” Nipuna said, and I stared at her to see she is rolling her eyes.

“We both can’t go by the way.” She added gesturing Aahna.

“Then go to the place which will be suitable for the baby.” Mom suggested.

“No, Mom! Maybe another time. It is not good to take her so frequently.” Nipuna said in a scared tone.

“Ok! Dileep and Tajwar will decide when to leave then.” Mom said sighing, and everyone nodded.

“We will leave tomorrow itself.” Dileep said, walking near to the dining area hanging up the phone.

“Where are you both going?” Aahil asked, glancing at them.

“First, we will go and meet her friend who couldn’t attend our wedding and then somewhere.” Dilee said smiling and sat down.

“Is your place too a surprise, Mridula?” Nipuna asked, but I just stared at Tajwar.

“I don’t know!” I said, frowning at him and decided to talk to him after dinner as I didn’t get a chance to ask what happened.

“If you don’t want to, then we need not to go to anywhere.” I said the moment he stepped inside the room after talking to Uncle while I am standing before the mirror removing the bangles.

“Why are you saying that?” he asked, walking near to me frowning.

“You were looking so grumpy from the moment you entered home.” I replied, frowning back and he laughed before hugging me from behind.

“I was looking grumpy as you put it because we can’t leave tomorrow itself like Dileep and Amrin.” He said placing his chin over my neck.

“Ok!” I said not understanding his words at all.

“I told you about my assistant right? He kind of made sure I get all the important meeting during the following week as he thought I will be in business mode after the small holiday.” He explained.

“Did you shout at him?” I asked, placing my hands over his.

“No! By seeing the dessert box you have sent for him, he gave a bright smile. I thought of leaving him alone for today so that he can enjoy the dessert you made.” He replied, and I laughed before turning around.

“So, you are still mad about me asking you to give that box to him?” I asked smiling.

“You don’t have an idea regarding how he is talking to me now. Like we both are best friends, and he is your brother.” He replied shaking his head.

“Still mad?” I asked giving him a peck.

“Yes!” he replied smiling and kissed me.

“Where do you want to go?” he asked playing with my fingers and stared at my face.

“I don’t know! You choose the place.” I said snuggling into his hold.

“But first finish your work.” I added to which he groaned but sighed in the end.

“Why don’t we go to goa?” he asked and I shook my head.

“No! We need to go to a new place. I thought you had become romantic, Tajwar.” I said frowning at him.

“Actually, I didn’t!” he said frowning.

“Then what about the date in the fields? The things you planned and that too in a perfect place.” I asked, sitting up not understanding why is he lying.

“We would have done them in your room if they didn’t arrive like I already said. And the things are actually your plan. I just modified it depending on the things and modes available.” He replied frowning back.

“And the branch plan is a general thing I wanted to do for you knowing well, you will miss them.” He added, and I shook my head smiling hearing all this.

“I am delighted that this is how all that happened. For a second, I got scared thinking where is my husband and where did he gone.” I said, smiling and e glared at me before tackling me down and hovered above me.

“I am still here.” He whispered, smiling and bit my neck while I pushed him away.

“Now, you will select and choose everything for this honeymoon, or else we will not go.” I said folding my arms.

“Fine!” he said, shrugging and laid beside me.

“And my parent’s village is not in the option.” I mumbled.

“I am not worse at this.” He said, scowling at me making me laugh and closed his eyes after pulling me to him and we both drifted off into sleep.

“Are you ready?” he asked entering the room when I finished packing for both of us.

“I am glad your work finished within four days. All thanks to your assistant who worked really hard.” I said, smiling after nodding at his question.

“Did you give him the dessert box I sent?” I asked ignoring his scowl.

“Yes! Now, can we leave?” he asked, folding his arms.

“Ok!” I replied smiling and walked outside with him holding our luggage.

“Take care!” Nipuna said, smiling and I smiled back before giving a kiss to Aahna.

“Maybe after a sometime you can go, and then I will take care of Ahana.” I said to Nipuna.

“I am not worried about it, Mridula. Now, Mom will be behind me to learn all those things which are scaring me just thinking about them.” She said frowning.

“It will be fun.” I said, grinning before following Tajwar with them waving.

“When will Dileep and Amrin returns?” I asked him sitting inside the car.

“I don’t know!” he said nervously.

“What happened?” I asked him, frowning, but he shook his head.

“You are the one that told me to say anything I feel. Now, tell me.” I said holding his hand when we got outside the car.

“I just hope you will like the arrangements.” He said shrugging.

“You will be there with me right? That’s all I need.” I said, smiling and he smiled back before we got inside the plane.

“Why London?” I asked him looking outside the plane.

“There has been a complication with something I had bought a month back. I need to be here today and thought why not have our trip too.” He replied sighing.

“Ok! I hope it will solve soon.” I said smiling.

“That’s it? Are you not angry at me or disappointed?” he asked frowning.

“Why would I be? I meant what I said, Tajwar. Being with you is enough, and I was just teasing regarding the selection of place and everything.” I replied leaning on to his shoulder.

“Hello, Tanmai? We just reached outside the airport.” He suddenly said into the phone which I thought to be for Mom.

Tanmai? I thought, frowning, but kept quiet, seeing his restless expression and then suddenly a man walked near to us before shaking Tajwar’s hand apologizing to him a lot.

“It’s ok!” Tajwar said nodding.

“Please inform Tanmai sir that I have given away your collection.” He said and walked away.

“What is happening?” I asked him frowning.

“I will tell later. Let’s go to our hotel, Mridula. It is nearly midnight.” He said glancing at his watch and called for a cab.

“Are the arrangements made?” he asked the hotel staff when they gave the key to him.

“Surprise?” I asked him smiling.

“You will know!” he replied, smiling and we reached our room within a few minutes.

The moment we entered and the bellboy left, he rushed to the bedroom before closing the door making me frown at it.

I sighed and started looking around until he called for me.

I walked near to the room and slowly knocked and walked inside only to stop in my tracks.

“Happy birthday, Mridula!” he said, smiling at me, and I slowly walked near to the cake on the small table before which he is sitting.

“You know?” I asked, coming out of my surprise.

“Last time I didn’t know, but I got to know this time.” He replied, smiling and I cut it before feeding him a bite.

“And I know it is still stupid to bring you here just for some work. I just want to say this work is more than important.” He said smiling before taking out a large cardboard type which is packed from the floor and started opening it before placing it in front of my eyes.

“How? When?” I asked in shock, staring at the painting of me holding Aahna.

“Amrin drew it without your notice, and I bought it without anyone’s notice. However, the guy who just apologized loved it too much that he lied and took it with him saying he is my man. I asked Amrin’s help who in turn asked Tanmai’s help in return. And we finally found it.” He explained and took a deep breath.

“Why has she always drawn something without my notice?” I asked frowning at the painting.

“Don’t say anything to her in a wrong way. She helped me a lot.” He immediately said, and I smiled at him before taking out my mobile and dialed her number.

“Hello?” she asked, lifting the call.

“Amrin! The baby and I… just got to know. What I mean to say is…” I couldn’t get to correct my words because she suddenly started babbling.

“How do you know about the baby? We were about to tell everyone today. Did Dileep tell you? I will so kill him as he stopped me from yesterday as I wanted to tell everyone.” She finally stopped, and I understood.

“You are pregnant?” I asked in shock and immediately felt happiness.

“What were you saying before then?” she asked in a confused tone.

“The painting of me and Aahna.” I replied and smiled at Tajwar who is smiling back.

“Oh, that! So, I know I babbled the news, but don’t tell Dileep and act surprised when he informs you both.” She said pleadingly and I accepted before passing the phone to Tajwar, who congratulated and hung up.

“Thank you so much for this, Tajwar.” I said, smiling at him and walked near to him but stopped seeing the decoration in the room.

“Ready for another present?” he asked, raising his eyebrow, and I laughed before hugging him.
