CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

To say that Jungkook was worried would be an understatement as he was pacing back and forth, running here and there as he tried to find Ha Na inside the entire territory, not knowing that she was with Taehyung.

During that night, he prepared a dinner and planned to stay with Ha Na until 12 in the midnight, and celebrate his birthday together Ha Na. It was kinda worrying him already, especially when she's carrying a baby inside even though it doesn't belong to him. He practically begged his mother not to touch the child, and spare it. He will obey his mother's order and do everything in his power to do the things a mate should do towards their partner.

As Jungkook was pacing back and forth, biting his nail anxiously, a scent enters his nose as he snapped out of his trance, and completely lured by the addicting scent that surrounded him. His wolf was in no doubt howling for his mate.

A smile appeared on his lip, his wolf purred in satisfaction and turning around, expecting for Ha Na to be there, but only to be met by Kiana who was staring at him.

His eyes widened in surprise, quickly backing out, and muttering. "My wolf mistook it again."

It has been a month, Jungkook still denied the fact that his wolf always howled for Kiana instead of Ha Na, making him even more confused. He tried to stay away from her but his wolf would always whine and having an internal fight with him.

"Miss Ha Na is still not here?" Kiana asked, making Jungkook cower in attempt to not loose himself in marking her right there and then. Especially with her having that delicious scent around her.

Jungkook shook his head, clearing his throat and gulping down his saliva.

"You can go now." He rapidly said before Kiana could start another topic or even speak. But it didn't stop her, and took a step forward making Jungkook's breath hitch and tried to block his nose, puffing his cheeks.

However, the warm and hot scent around her would never fail to get through, and that's when it hit him.

"Are you near your heat?" He blurted out, throat dried out at the thought of Kiana on heat right now.

"I am on my heat." She slurred, face turning into red as it flushed from the heat that was fighting inside her. "I'm turning 19 in a few hours."

"Nineteen in few hours?"

"At 12 am." She shrieked in pain after answering, grasping her stomach that was hurting her, and her baby was reacting inside her as well.

"Why are you on heat when you are pregnant?!" He panicked, having no idea what to do, and tried to call for help but the scene of Kiana screaming in agonising pain had his wolf inside startle.

"Shit!" Jungkook hissed, completely forgetting that when an omega is in heat, that means it would be luring a lot of wolves. "I'm doomed."

He abruptly ran towards her, quickly picking her up, and ran towards his room. "Where is mom when I needed her the most?!"

He growled, firmly holding the fragile 6 months pregnant lady in his arms as he quickly entered his room as fast as he could. He put down the lady who was squirming on the bed from the pain she was suffering as Jungkook was fast to close the door, and locking it. He didn't want any wolves out there to harass a pregnant lady.

His chest heaved up and down, leaning on the doorway—his eyes widening in realisation.

"Oh—" Jungkook choked on his words. "It wouldn't be a good idea if an Alpha is in the same room as an omega."

His eyes scanned the woman who was asking him for help, and muttering incoherent words. An Alpha and an omega? It would be bad.

The truth is, there's nothing Jungkook could help in any way to satisfy her heat except sex. And no, he is not going to do inappropriate things with a pregnant woman, and heck, he wouldn't do it when he have his mate already.

But it wouldn't be a bad idea to help, right?

"J-Jungkook, help." She cried out, tears streaming down her face making him cursed under his breath while his wolf whimpered, completely melting by the sound of the omega's moans and cries.

If only this lady stayed inside her own room and never come out, nothing like this would've happened. But his wolf inside was begging him to mate the girl right there, and mark her as his.

He wanted her—no.

He needed her.

Morning came, just as expected, no clothes were worn by the two wolf inside the room as they were cuddle from all the night sessions that they did. They did 6 rounds, aggressive and trying to satisfy each other's needs but at the same time trying not to hurt the fetus she was carrying.

Kiana fluttered her eyes open, feeling a little sore on her core as she tried to grasped out of Jungkook's hold but eventually gave up when he kept on tightening his grip. She just spent her time looking at the beautiful and handsome man that was in front of her, adoring him. Her eyebrows furrowed as she lined his nose bridge with her fingertip.

Why do you look so familiar?

FLASHBACK

As she walked through the forest for her morning exercise as a month old pregnant, her snout twitch when a scent infiltrated her nose. Her eyebrows lined, quickly trying to find the scent and found a little pup lying on the ground, dead. When she was about to walk back to the house, letting the lifeless pup lay dead there, she heard moans coming from behind.

"H-Help me, Noona." The kid whimpered making Kiana looked behind to see that the pup is somehow speaking and alive.

"He is still alive?"

With that, Kiana spent the day taking care of the child, letting him eat, taking care of his wound until she goes out to take some wood to at least warm the kid. Pretty sure, she was amazed as to how the little kid managed to survive a vampire's bite.

Finding all the woods in the forest was quite hard for her since she's pregnant and the bump is already visible a little bit. She was just trying to be careful since she's carrying a precious one inside. She went back to where the pup is, and gasped, dropping all the woods to the ground when she saw something.

It was a witch.

Witches still exist? She asked herself, eye widening as her eyes followed the witch's hands lifting up to heal the pup.

Out of her being scared when her eyes connected with the witch's eyes, she ran off as much as she can. She didn't get to see the witch's face but her eyes that was glowing in silver scared her enough. She wanted to save the pup, but the baby inside her is more important and she didn't want to risk.

END OF FLASHBACK

Kiana's eyes widened, lips parted as her heart pounded against her chest. "It was you?"

It couldn't be? She couldn't believe it, the pup has the same facial features and scent as Jungkook, but how is it that he grew old in just five months?

Ha Na woke up, feeling herself panting out of nowhere, and quickly positioned herself straight only to realised that she was already sleeping on the rock. She glanced at the jacket that was covering her body, eyebrows knitted together.

A yawn escaped her mouth, blinking her eyes to get a clear view. She lifted up the jacket and scanned it, only to fathom that the jacket was worn by Taehyung yesterday. Her cheeks went deep shade of red as she suddenly recalled her memories with Taehyung.

"That's so sweet of him." She gripped the jacket in her hands, grinning sheepishly as her eyes landed at the paper that was on the ground before grabbing it.

Sorry for leaving earlier but I have to get Jimin out of here for a while. It's an emergency.

A frown was displayed on her lips, letting out an exasperated sigh before standing up, and dusting herself off. She gasped, eyes widened and quickly hands travelled to her mouth in search for her silk, making sure it was still there. She sighed in relief, knowing that Taehyung didn't remove her silk.

She stood up from her position, back aching from the pressure and suddenly feeling nauseated but move it off away. She coughed, immediately feeling the cold wind hitting her and quickly wrapped herself in Taehyung's jacket before going back to the territory.

As she went inside, everyone was being noisy, surrounding the Alpha's room where she could hear screams in frustration and murmurs around.

"What happened now?" She could hear snickers from one of the wolf. "She is the one that was mated by our Alpha, and not the Luna. Will the omega be a Luna or it still be Miss Min?"

Mated? Who?

"We never know." The other answered making her puzzled. She pressed her lips into thin line, trying to get in as the wolves immediately backed out, giving way to their Luna.

A heartbreaking scene shattered her as she witnessed Kiana and Jungkook on the ground, blanket around them—naked inside. Ha Na's lips quiver, feeling pain washing over her entire body at the scene unfolding in front of her. She couldn't help but let the tears flow down her cheeks.

"Mom! I just helped her on her heat!" The Alpha protested, yelling back at her mother who was scolding him.

"Still Jungkook!" She snarled, eyes glaring at her son. "Ha Na is your mate! How could you?!"

"Ma—"

"I'm so disappointed in you." Caroline shook her head, still not noticing Ha Na's presence in the crowd, and was focused on the two naked figure. "It's been a month and you haven't mated Ha Na yet! And here you are having your junior inserting into someone's vagina!"

She wheezed, turning her eyes to Kiana. "A pregnant one at that! What is happening to you?!"

"I don't even know what's happening to me, ma!" Jungkook yelped, and that's when a loud sob escaped Ha Na's mouth, whimpering as she fell on her knees.

Jungkook looked behind at the same time to see Ha Na who was crying, covering her mouth. He tried to stand up but fails when his Luna already ran away from them. He wanted to explain but it was useless, and his heart broke, not knowing that he hurt his noona.

Caroline gasped when she saw her, wanting to run after her but the blood shot up in her head as she gritted her teeth, screeching and glaring at Kiana.

"You!" Caroline growled, pointing at the pregnant omega. "Get out of this territory, and never ever appear here again!"

Caroline blamed herself as she shouldn't have let Kiana stayed in this territory despite knowing a pregnant omega can still be on heat and be sensed by wolves unless it has been marked and claimed by someone.

And to think her son has already mated with a stranger, it broke her heart. What will happen to her precious daughter-in-law now?
