Chapter 94: Chapter 94

CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

A MONTH LATER

Ha Na's eyebrows lined together as she watched the doctor pressing a stethoscope on her stomach which made her confused. What was he trying to hear? She wondered, glancing over Caroline who seemed pretty eager about something.

What is this? She frowned, oblivious about herself being 4 and a half months pregnant since her stomach isn't still much visible, and the fetus inside her isn't growing well, pretty small at that.

Though there were times that she was asking how is it that her stomach is a little bloated, she would excuse herself as belly fats to the point of wanting to diet but Caroline nor Jungkook wasn't letting her. There would be times that Jungkook would ask her odd questions or even order her around to be careful.

"What's with the check up?" She mumbled as soon as the Doctor leaned away from her, and looked at Caroline.

"Can you go to your room darling?" Caroline asked sweetly. "I have to talk to the doctor. Be careful on your way, okay?"

She nodded hesitantly before darting herself out and going to her room that was pretty lonely especially when Kiana was given a special room by Jungkook, and the reason was because she is already 6 months pregnant.

Or was it?

And she wouldn't even question his feelings towards her nor Kiana anymore because she knew that Jungkook didn't have feelings for her, and that he was just forcing himself on her.

Kiana was giving him the real feelings.

She sat on the bed carefully, taking a glimpse at the calendar and gasped. Everything happened so fast that she almost forgot that her and Jungkook's birthday is tomorrow already. No one even bothered to remind the birthday as everyone was busy in their own ways.

A tear rolled off her eyes, hands unconsciously rubbing her stomach. It's going to be her birthday tomorrow yet Jungkook was ignoring her, and Aunt Caroline was by her side all day long only.

Her mind wondered to this certain man that she has been seeing behind everyone's back. Their meet ups are even secrets, and would usually meet each other at the same time and place.

Could he be there at this place again? Hopefully because as she stood up, she made her way out to see the man outside the territory.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, raising an eyebrow causing Taehyung to abruptly stand up who was sitting on the ground as he waited for her. His eyes widened in surprise, not expecting for her to appear in the same place as him.

"I thought you would only come here when the clock strikes 11:30 pm." She mumbled, glancing at her watch. "It's still 11 pm."

"I was—uh wa—" he chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck. Why was he even here? When their meeting time would be at exactly 11:30 pm.

The truth was, he just wanted to be there and waiting for the time to come. Heck, he has been here at 9 pm.

"What about you?" He shot back, his voice cracked but there was still dominance over as he tried to change the attention.

"Me?" She snorted, frowning. "Everyone is busy."

She walked towards him, offering. "What about we spend the night together?"

"We always do." Taehyung chuckled.

They both went to their usual place as they sat down, leaning on the rock. Taehyung tugged his lips into a sweet smile as he took a glimpse at his side to see the side facial feature of the lady that he have known for a month now. He doesn't even know her name, nor haven't even seen her face. All she could ever discover was the scent that lingers in her.

The scent that only Ha Na and he could have. He would even sometimes wonder why would she have that kind of scent, and the urge to ask her a question was so great. Why is it that he was able to smell her scent—two scents at that on her, when he's suppose to smell Ha Na only.

Besides, how is it that he couldn't read her thoughts as well? Everything about her is similar to his fiancee's characteristics.

"Tell me," She looked at Taehyung, smiling behind her silk that was still covering her mouth that annoyed Taehyung whenever they meet. He was startled when he realised that he was staring for too long, and quickly look away. "How was your day?"

His heart hammered through his chest, trying calm himself. Even as a vampire, he still get this feelings. Get yourself together, Taehyung! She is the Luna of the Moon Pack, and you have Ha Na already!

"Are you alright?" Ha Na raised her eyebrows, confused as to why Taehyung's jaw clenched as if he was struggling to hold himself.

"I—am fine." He choked, relaxing himself, trying to regain his posture."It's just stressing...because Jimin is struggling about hyung's death, and trying to distract himself with this mission."

He breathed in, sighing. "And about Hoseok hyung, he decided to travel for a while. He was too devastated, and wanted to be away."

"It's good that you guys have ways of coping up." She moved her head up and down, understanding the situation of the group of friends that was mourning over a friend's death.

"You know what makes me regret even more?" He looked at the night sky, blinking his teary eyes away.

"What is it?"

"It is that I never had the chance to find hyung's child." A tear rolled down his cheeks, and Ha Na could see it even through the dim light.

"I promised to myself that I would find Jin's child but I never did." he cowered down, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Even after his death."

"Who said about giving up if the person's gone already?" Ha Na blurted out as Taehyung jerked his head towards her.

"What do you mean?"

"What I'm saying is...just because Duke Kim Seokjin is already gone doesn't mean you should give up searching for his son." She giggled that sent a striking shot in Taehyung's heart. "Maybe, just maybe, he will appreciate you, and even thank you for letting him know about his child up in wherever he is."

"Really?" She nodded with an adoring smile that never fails to make his stomach erupts butterflies. It made him baffled and puzzled about his feelings. Like everything is confusing him.

She has been mark, and Taehyung thought it belongs to the Alpha since she is the future Luna of the Pack. Why would he have these feelings?

"It's been a a month since we've known each other," Taehyung paused, shaking off the idea. "How come you still won't let me see you face and name?"

Her lips tugged into a smile and shaking her head just like any other days. She wasn't planning on telling him.

"What time is it?" She changed the topic, not wanting to go more.

Taehyung glanced at his watched, his eyes widened in surprised as to why the clock strikes fast near 12 in the morning. "11:59 pm. That's fast. Wait—Yah! Answer me!"

"I don't want to..." She breathed out, biting her lips. "But can I tell you something?"

Taehyung's eyes widened, his body jumped in anticipation and excitement.

"It's my birthday." she let out a yawn making Taehyung chuckle, sitting near her as she lets him lean on his shoulders.

"Happy Birthday." He said, grabbing the side of her head, placing her head on his shoulder. "Can I tell you a secret too?"

He could feel her nodding, oblivious that the human is already sleepy.

"Supposed the person for you should have that ability that couldn't let you hear her thoughts but then one day you can?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean—" he groaned, closing his eyes as he remembered accidentally hearing his fiancee's thoughts back then but decided to shrug it off. "I shouldn't have heard her thoughts but then one day, I could."

After Taehyung and his fiancee's talk a month ago, she asked to be away from the palace for 2 months, and he let her be. That's why he can freely go in and out to meet the Luna of the Moon Pack. However, back then, he accidentally heard his fiancee's thoughts, thinking about finding the scarred man yet he doesn't have any idea who she was talking about.

It made him wonder, he shouldn't have heard her thoughts but why is it that he could? He snapped out of his trance when he heard a soft snore coming from the side as he took a glimpse that made his heart pound and flutters.

"It's your birthday." He mumbled, looking at the watch. "You're really sleeping on the day of your birthday?"

He pressed his lips into thin line, trying not to smile, and his eyes landed at her hands that was freely displaying right there. His hands travelled to her hands, connecting it and interlocking as he watched the beautiful scenery of the night sky on her birthday.

Surely, they spent the night in each other's presence.
