CHAPTER THIRTY

One is real, and one is just an illusion. Jimin paced back and forth, biting the tip of his nails as he kept on thinking about what the stranger was talking about earlier.

"Jimin?" His brother's voice echoed his room causing Jimin to jerk his head towards the door.

"Hyung?"

Yoongi entered his room with an unsure smile on his face. "Someone came here for you."

"Who?"

The beta sighed causing Jimin to arch his eyebrows. "Kim Taehyung."

"What?" Jimin squeaked, completely bewildered. "Taehyung?"

The Duke gasped, eyes widened, totally not expecting the sudden news his brother announce making him panic. "What is he doing here? He shouldn't—"

The elder interrupted. "I know you don't want to meet him yet but Jungkook already reported that you are here."

"Wait—what?"

"Tía and Jungkooks knows about you being a vampire and werewolf though, I thought they didn't. So they told Taehyung about you being here." Yoongi explained with another sigh. "Don't worry. We didn't reveal about you being a half breed."

"But still—"

"Yoongi? Jimin?" Both of them jerked their head towards the door to see Caroline entering the room.

"Tía." Both of them greeted with a slight bow before looking at her, flustered at her sudden presence.

"What brings you here, Tía?" Yoongi asked with a confused look written on his face.

"I just have something more important to do to Jimin." Caroline informed, glancing at Jimin who was waiting for her to say it. "Before you meet Taehyung, I need to remove that scent of yours. You don't want them to know you're a werewolf, right?"

Jimin raised an eyebrow, and Yoongi realized what Caroline was talking about.

"I forgot." Yoongi muttered under his breath before facing Jimin. "Tía was the one who hid your vampire scent so that your wolf side would outshine in this territory, and the wolves won't be able to know that their archenemy is here."

Caroline nodded as she agreed with what Yoongi stated. She approached the two, facing Jimin. "Can you sit down?"

Jimin nodded, going to the bedside and sat at the edge of the bed before Caroline followed behind. She mumbled but enough for the two to head. "I just connected your hair with a tiny bit of my fur to hide your scent. I just need to cut it off."

With Jimin's approval, she grabbed a knife from her pocket while her other hand gripped a fistful of Jimin's hair. She located the fur she connected on, before removing it by an abrupt slice from the knife.

"There." Caroline uttered, lifting her fur that was on Jimin's hair with a smile on her face. "It's all done. You can go to Taehyung now."

Jimin nodded, feeling thankful at the wolf who she looked up to as like his mother.

"I will leave the two of you." Caroline grinned at the two before exiting the room. Jimin watched as Caroline darted her way out, before taking a glimpse at his brother.

"Where is Taehyung?" He asked in curiousity, standing up again.

"He is outside waiting for you." The younger frowned making the elder eyed him with worry.

"I am not ready to face him, hyung." Jimin released out an exasperation sigh.

"Why not?"

"I still need to do something." Jimin took a deep breath, eyes flickered down as he remembered the mission he was tasked to. "I can't face him yet, and I have to find someone."

I have to find Seokjin hyung's child. But I didn't know how. Not with Jun's help. With the reason of his release from the prison back then, he was tasked to find their hyung's child, and he can't go back until he finds the child and Jun.

"At least see and talk him." Yoongi tried to convince his little brother in hope that the younger would see his best friend. "Taehyung must've wanted to see you after what happened these months."

Now that he think about it, he couldn't deny but miss his best friend as well whom he haven't seen for 3 months after his death. Maybe, he could just see him?

"What is happening?" Kiana asked peeking over the outside with the guards surrounding certain two males. "Why are there a lot of guards?"

If you are wondering, Kiana was chosen as Ha Na's maid until the fetus inside the omega will grow big. Caroline mentioned that it would be the she wolf's payment for staying in this territory for a while.

"I don't know too." Ha Na replied with confusion as well as she stood beside Kiana, and peek over like two girls planning on to steal golds and silvers.

The human pulled away, facing Kiana. "Let me go to Yoongi's room and ask him since he's the beta."

The omega nodded in agreement. "I'll just be here then. The beta must be in his room."

Ha Na nodded, moving her head up and down as she stormed outside the room. Such then, her breath hitched, goosebumps forming on her skin when she felt shivers ran down to her spine, and noticed someone who passed by like a marathon.

"Who was that?" She gasped, turning around to see a black haired man with his back facing while talking to another silver haired man, and brown haired man.

"That is Park Jimin, the Duke of Vampire." Yoongi responded with utmost respect causing her to look at him. "He was just so excited to see his best friend that he was speeding like that."

"A Duke?" A surprised gasp escape the pregnant human's lips, and eyes widened. "Aren't Dukes powerful? How come he is in the wolf territory?"

"Oh." Yoongi nodded as he trailed off a response. "The Alpha was the one who saved him."

"Jungkook did? I didn't know that a Duke was here." Ha Na tilted her head to the side, astonished.

"I'm sorry, Luna." Yoongi apologized, bowing, and even making Ha Na guilty all of a sudden. She was still uncomfortable with all the pack members greeting her as their Luna when the procession hasn't been mentioned yet. "Tía decided to hide him because he is a vampire. She didn't want to trouble the pack."

Yoongi's eyes locked at Ha Na's brown orbs. His eyes became glossy, and his heart felt a struck of pain as his chest tightened. He missed the lady so much to the point that he wished to jump and just embrace her tightly without leaving him. He would be honest that there would be times where he would think of coveting the woman even though it would be a sin to love a woman that is to be their future Luna.

In Ha Na's eyes Yoongi was just staring while in Yoongi's point of view, he was just adoring and admiring the lady in front of her.

"Are you okay, Yoongi?"

Yoongi snapped out his trance, blinking his eyes repeatedly as a tint of blush and warmness felt on his cheeks before clearing his throat. He didn't fathom that he was already gawking at her already.

"I'm fine." A lump was forming on her throat before his gaze wavered away from hers. He was embarrassed, and felt a little shy. His eyes then was directed to the silk that was positioned at the table of his room beside his bed.

The silk with Jungkook's scent was given by Caroline that was supposed to be given to Ha Na days ago because of the incident when Ha Na went missing during the celebration in the Palace. He was ashamed that he completely failed a simple mission of taking Ha Na to the palace for a while, and then go home only to realized that he lost her all the way.

"You should wear this." Yoongi said, handing a pink silk in his hand while Ha Na just raised her eyebrows, oblivious on what to do with the object.

"Cover your face." He demanded before speaking. "You are the Alpha's mate who haven't been mated yet."

Ha Na gently grabbed the silk, nodding and trying to tie it over her mouth.

"The vampires out there might confused you as theirs since you are a human." Yoongi blabbered, not making sense after all. "The scent in this silk will hide your human scent."

Ha Na tied the silk, smiling at Yoongi—though he wouldn't be able to see it but her white teeth behind the silk was still visible. Yoongi gave her the warmest and sweetest smile, but a part of him felt guilty. Why?

Because he, too, doesn't want Taehyung to see Ha Na yet.
