CHAPTER SIXTY SIX

Weeks later...

"Why is my stomach small?" Ha Na's voice cracked, rubbing her stomach as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Please don't cry, Your Majesty." The doctor sighed, pleading as he bowed down slightly. "Your baby will react along with your emotions. If your emotions are unstable, there will be more bleeding again than the usual."

"I'm sorry." She sniffled, wiping her tears away and looking down. "B-But why is my baby so small than a normal one?"

The physician looked down. "It's because the baby isn't receiving much blood from you, Your Majesty."

Though Ha Na slightly cringed at what the physician of the wolf territory said, she just let it go since he has always been attending her since the beginning. He was the same physician that Aunt Caroline gave her back then.

"It's the Vampire King's offspring and it needed more nutrients for his growth and future powers, Your Majesty."

"Future power?" She squeaked.

"A king's child is expected to be powerful just as its father. But seeing how it is a human breed, it will be hard."

"How hard?" She raised an eyebrow, sniffling a little bit.

"It's powerful that you're going to be unhealthy along with it. If you keep being like this, it might put you and your child's well-being at risk."

"T-Then what do I need to do?"

"Don't get stressed out or have any vigorous activities like sexual activities."

"What?" She was completely taken aback by his words. "I heard that couples can still have sex during pregnancy."

Not that she want to have sex with Taehyung but in honesty, who doesn't?

"You are a human and he is a vampire." He honestly answered. "You couldn't make it one round, and one wouldn't satisfy a vampire's thirst unless controlled."

"You would be weak because of the tiring activity. There's a chance of losing the baby especially if the partner doesn't know about it." He added, pursing his lips. Jungkook especially told him to seal his lips, not to tell anyone about the pregnancy.

She nodded. "How far am I again?"

"You are currently at 7 months, and two more months, you will bare the child."

The physician's words echoed her ears as she looked down, rubbing her stomach before her eyes landed at the item on her wrist. It was the bracelet that she gave to Jungkook when he was around four years old that time.

'Noona, remember when you gave this to me?' She does remember when she gave Jungkook that gift.

'Your scent won't be detected.'

With that said, the bracelet will gladly help her throughout the pregnancy. The only problem would be Taehyung being suspicious about it. He won't be able to smell her at all and that would be a bad thing since the only indication that she is his soulmate is her scent.

However, in situation like this, it would be better to hide her scent for her to hide the baby's scent as well. Especially when the bleeding time comes.

"With my horny fiancee, I don't think I will survive." Ha Na groaned, shaking her head. "God, help me."

It's been almost a month since she last talked to Jungkook and Elisse personally. Taehyung is so full of stubbornness in locking her in the palace, never allowing her to go out as she pleases, and she doesn't like it at all but she can't blame him. He lost her once, he's not going to let it happen again.

However, the three still interact through calls and video chats. They would interact for hours when Taehyung is gone for national affair hours, and they would even send foods to the palace. Even sent the wolf physician that attended her before, and let the physician sneaked inside the palace awhile ago with Yoongi's help because only he knows the truth.

The news of what the physician said are still ringing in her ears yet the only good news there was that the baby was still holding on despite being small for just a seven month old fetus inside the womb.

"What are you thinking, love?" Taehyung's voice echoed the whole room causing Ha Na to startle and jumped out, immediately cupping her belly in defence.

"Kim Taehyung!" Ha Na shrieked that made Taehyung immediately dropped down on his knees.

Only Ha Na could control him that way, and make him weak to the point of him pleading with those pout lips along with his puppy eyes. The reason is? His soulmate has been having mood swings these days and he doesn't know the reason why. All he could do was cower in fear because his mate is quite scary. Don't even question.

Ha Na immediately stood up only to be met with Taehyung on his knees already before she could do anything causing her to sigh and gave up on physically hitting him.

"I told you to never startle me like that," She frowned, worried about if the baby was startled as well. "You should knock first."

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, muttering. "Why would I even knock in my own room?"

Ha Na snapped her head towards him with a disappointing look as soon as she heard those mumbles that she couldn't properly hear. Perhaps she misheard.

"What was that?" She scorned, stepping forward and the man gulped down his saliva.

Startled, he defended. "I said you look beautiful!"

Ha Na stopped, pursing her lips, not allowing a single white pearl teeth to reveal. Why does her man makes her heart flutter every time?

The King took this chance to stand up, ran towards her as he wrapped his arms around her, giving her the embrace that she and he missed having for the whole day. He allowed the scent to invade his nose as his mind wondered as to what is his mate thinking right now. Remind him, he couldn't hear his mate's thoughts.

A smile appeared on both's lips as they welcome each other's hug. "I miss you so much."

Ha Na giggled, hugging him back. "Are you that stressed?"

He nodded, humming in response and tugging his bottom lip out as he wrapped his arms around her tightly. He could even feel the baby's heartbeat. "Those officials are tiring me out."

The sound of the King's whine made his soulmate laugh, and it made his heart leap out of his chest at the sound that his soulmate releases but eyebrows soon furrowed when he realized that no matter how many times he would sniff, no scent was entering his nose.

"I'm proud of you, Tae." She smiled, patting his back.

She couldn't believe how the cruel and monstrous man months before turned into a pouty puppy in just a few months, all because of her. It makes her happy that the man is doing all he can to change for the better without her telling him about it. Honestly, she doesn't care what Taehyung would end up because she would still accept him.

"If you're proud of me," He smirked, hands suddenly glide down to her butt, giving it a slight squeeze causing her to let out a squeal.

Even his next words caused her to choke on her saliva. "Make love to me."

Her eyes widened, immediately leaned away from him as she shook her head vigorously. "No!"

As Taehyung was about to say something, he was pulled away from her. He raised an eyebrow, oblivious as to what the woman was doing and before he could realised, he was already dragged.

"What—" And that, he was outside the room causing his eyes to widen, and growled.

"Ha Na!"

"I said no!" She yelled on the other side of the door.

"Why won't you make babies with me?" He whined, pouting as his eyes glistened, and knocking on the door several times. "I want babies!"

"Taehyung, I told you no." Ha Na said sternly as she groaned, turning her back and leaning on the door. "You are not to see me or have skin ship with me until two months later!"

He growled, banging on the door and not listening to her words. "That's impossible!"

"I will cuddle with you once you finish the issue regarding Hoseok and Namjoon!" She added, yelling and walking towards the bed.

"But they are scary!" He mewled childishly, scratching the door and begging for her to open it.

"Taehyung," She groaned, shaking her head and facing the door again. "You are the king. Why would you be scared of them?"

The vampire king pouted. "I have a soft spot for them."

Ha Na huffed. "Just go, and maybe I'll consider having sex with you."

His eyes lightened, giggled in excitement like a child. "Promise?"

Instead of answering, Ha Na locked the door causing it to resonate the sound of the click from the outside.

And Taehyung stared at it, dumbfounded.

"It wasn't locked the whole time?"
