"So, you are the Second Prince and the leader of Scorpion's Guild? I understand." Cecilia staring at her coffee with calm face.

Max was the one who feel anxious when see her calmness. For him, it almost like a clear weather before the storm, "I'm sorry. It's not like I want to hide this fact from you. But, I really want to tell you at the right time."

"Don't be sorry, Your Highness. I know you must be having your own judgement."

"Chili, don't talk like that with blank face. You make me afraid. Besides, I'm not a Prince anymore. It's just Maxwell."

Cecilia smile faintly and take another sip of her coffee. Actually, she already has some suspicion about him.

But, it's still surprised her when she know the truth, "Then, Sir Maxwell, I want to ask you something."

"Chili, just treat me like usual. No matter what happened, I'm still your Max."

"Why did you like me?" Her purple eyes fixed on his. "You can find a better woman than me. Using your look, power and money. You have no difficulty to find someone who can entertain you."

Max's brows frowned. The question itself make him angry.

But, her unusual cold gaze and tone make him angrier. "Why did you say this, Chili? I like you because you are Cecilia. I'm seriously wanted to stay with you. Not just for my entertainment."

"Then, if I'm not Cecilia, do you still like me?"

His brain froze for several seconds. All he managed to said was, "What did… you mean?"

"The truth is, I'm not Cecilia Lancia. My name is Han Ji Eun. An ordinary girl who come from South Korean, a country in another dimension. The reason why I'm here because I have to make amend for my previous action."

She rose from her chair and bowed deeply. "I'm really sorry for giving you the troubles. You can reconsider our relationship. I will take all the responsibility because of deceiving you."

"Stop it, Chili! If you want to prank--,"

"It's not a prank, Sir."

Max punched the table with his fist, "Don't call me like that, Chili. Otherwise, I will be angry."

"You should be angry to me, Sir. I deceived you, and all the people in this world, by impersonate this person."

"What happened with the real one?"

"I don't know. Six months ago, I wake up as the owner of this body. I thought I will be burnt in hell, but I got the second chance."

"You said that you were made amend to your previous action. What do you mean?"

She let out a heavy sigh, "I was killing myself."

"What?"

When he looked at her face, Max felt a cold hand squeeze his heart and a huge hammer was punching on his head.

The world turn into silent because he knows that she isn't lying. "Let me thinking for a second. This is quite overwhelming."

Cecilia nodded and put that ruby ring on the desk. "Thank you for everything, Sir. But, I can't do this anymore. I want to confess to Duke Lancia, too."

His eyes were empty when he looked at the ring, "So, you were lying about your feeling? The confession in the lake is fake, too?"

"I'm sorry if this sound like a cheap reason. But, in my previous life, I was all alone. My family was scattered. I have no friend, not to mention, a lover.

I'm truly grateful to meet you and the people in this world who really care about me. I was living in my dream life.

But, I have to wake up. Because this love, privilege, and everything in this world made for Cecilia. Not Han Ji Eun. I really love you, Sir. That's why I can't deceive you for any longer."

Max hold his head. All the memories crossed his mind.

He can hear Hugo's voice that telling him about the change of  Cecilia's behavior, her apology to Jenkin, stepping down from the election, and all the knowledge she has.

Everybody said that Cecilia was changing into someone else. Now, it's make sense.

"Then, please excuse me, Sir."

Just, when she touched the door's handle, Max asked, "Wait. What if the Duke punish you with public execution?"

She smiled warmly, "That's even better. I deserve that."

"You didn't afraid with the death?"

"I did. But, it's better than keep lying to everyone I care about."

Max didn't say anything, and Cecilia left the room after she made another bow to him.

It's over, she thought after she exited the bar. Gale was nowhere to be found.

"Well, I don't need to say goodbye. After this, all of them know about my lies." She whispered to herself.

The air was so cold, and she tightens her cape. The road was deserted because it's still five in the morning, but she felt the weight lift from her chest. For a second, the world look so beautiful now.

She can't imagine the people's face when see the amusement park. "I hope they will like it. But, when I'm gone, will they keep it? Or destroy it? Well, I shouldn't have care about that."

The sky still dark when she reached the Square. If Cecilia kept walking, she can arrive in her house within fifteen minutes. Then she remembered something important.

Duke Lancia must be arrived at the South Island. For the opening ceremony.

Cecilia shook her head in disbelief, "How could I forget? I was the one who invited him."

"Do you need some ride?' A familiar voice made her startled. The tall dark figure who was hiding under the shadows of the tree in the Square's park, starting to approached her. "How could you run away before I choose a punishment for you."

She answered calmly, "I thought you were said that you need some time to think, Sir."

"I've made my mind." Max said when the distance between them only several inches.

"Then, I'll accept the punishment."

"You can't refused this."

"Yes, I understand."

"Even though, it can torture you for this lifetime?"

"Yes."

Suddenly, Max hugged her. And said in a gentle voice, "Seriously. I can't win againts you. As the punishment, stay with me, Chili."
