Chapter 316: Chapter 316

Honestly, Quinn Lockwood felt a bit anxious. Knowing Elias Sinclair’s personality, he would definitely refuse her request.

"Sure." The man nodded and continued, "I have people at a much higher level than this production crew. I’ll have Ethan contact Xenia Monroe when he returns."

"Uh?" Quinn hadn’t expected Elias Sinclair to agree so straightforwardly, and even offer to introduce the renowned photographer, Ethan Davis, to Xenia!

Everyone knows Ethan is arrogant and not easy to deal with, but with Elias Sinclair’s introduction, he wouldn’t put on airs.

But... why is he helping Xenia Monroe so much? I only mentioned it briefly.

So is this... love by association?

Thinking this, Quinn’s face flushed instantly, and she quickly shook her head.

Seriously, what’s wrong with me, talking nonsense !

Upon arriving at The Scarlinne Restaurant, Quinn Lockwood waited at the door for Xenia Monroe.

"Sierra, I’m here." Seeing Xenia get out of the car and walk over from afar, Quinn quickly waved her hand.

Xenia’s eyes lit up when she saw Quinn, and she jogged over to give her a hug.

"Is there a professional photography crew for dinner this time?" Xenia raised an eyebrow, asking excitedly.

Quinn nodded, answering, "Yes, it’s a professional advertising shooting team."

"But... Sierra, why do you need a photography crew?" Quinn tilted her head, leading Xenia inside, as she asked.

"Oh, well, a subsidiary of my dad’s company wants to produce some short videos, but they aren’t very skilled with the technical stuff, so they want to find a professional photography team to collaborate with," Xenia pouted and explained to Quinn.

Actually, like Quinn before, she didn’t like getting involved in the company’s affairs. But after returning this time and seeing her parents still working late into the night at their age, Xenia felt she had been particularly immature.

"I see. Elias Sinclair mentioned introducing you to Ethan when he returns," Quinn nodded, understanding Xenia’s thinking.

"Sierra?" Quinn was leading Xenia when she suddenly stopped, causing Quinn to almost trip.

Quinn turned back curiously to see Xenia, eyes wide with excitement looking at her.

"Oh my god, Savannah, Ethan! The legendary, perfectionist photographer?" Xenia gulped, her face full of disbelief.

Though she wanted to tell Xenia how laid-back and petulant Ethan really was, the dinner had begun, and Quinn didn’t want to risk being mocked for being arrogant by Joyce Kramer later.

"Yes, yes, let’s go, the delicious food is waiting for you on the table." Quinn quickly walked with Xenia to the private room on the second floor.

"Savannah, my sister-in-law is too generous. Just because he likes you, he’s even considerate with me, tsk tsk tsk, I’m quite satisfied," Xenia teasingly praised Quinn with a sly grin.

Previously, Xenia didn’t think much of Elias Sinclair, always finding him cold and unfeeling, capable of hurting even Savannah, who loved him so.

But her recent return revealed the cold-hearted one seemed to have become Quinn Lockwood.

"Stop talking nonsense!" Quinn jokingly chided Xenia, deciding to ignore her, but feeling a mix of emotions inside.

Quinn led Xenia back to the VIP private room. As soon as she sat next to Elias Sinclair, she felt a cold, piercing gaze upon her.

Quinn furrowed her brows, following the sensation to see Joyce Kramer glaring at her coldly.

Perhaps realizing Quinn noticed, Joyce quickly returned to her usual poised and gentle demeanor, giving Quinn a slight smile.

"So fake," Quinn muttered under her breath. She was about to speak to Xenia, but Xenia was already mingling with the other crew members.

Quinn sighed softly. She should have known, Xenia was a typical fair-weather friend, always ready to abandon her at a moment’s notice.

Lowering her eyes, Quinn picked up her chopsticks, just about to eat when she felt another icy gaze.

"Elias, try this; I love this diced meat," Quinn’s eyes twinkled as she put a piece into Elias’s bowl.

Sure enough, once Elias ate what Quinn had given him, the chilling gaze upon her intensified.

"And their bamboo shoots, super crispy, amazing texture," Quinn leaned closer to Elias, placing her favorite dishes into his plate.

Surprisingly, the always fastidious Boss Sinclair didn’t mind Quinn using her used chopsticks to serve him food.

And Elias almost kept a smile the whole time, eating every bite she served.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang as Joyce Kramer put down her chopsticks, her plate spotless as if she hadn’t eaten anything.

"Excuse me, I need to use the restroom." Joyce forced a smile, casting a cold glance at Quinn before leaving the room.

As Joyce left, Quinn finally relaxed, moving away from Elias.

Noticing Quinn suddenly distancing herself, Elias felt a strange discomfort.

"Savannah Lowell, who allowed you to use me?" Elias pulled Quinn back, whispering softly in her ear. Follow current novels on NoveI-Fire.ɴet

Quinn froze, turning to look at Elias, intending to explain she wasn’t using him, but they were so close that her lips nearly brushed his cheek.

"I didn’t, don’t make things up," blushing slightly, Quinn quickly moved back, defending herself.

When Joyce returned to the private room, the scene that greeted her was Quinn’s lips seemingly brushing Elias Sinclair’s cheek, resembling a kiss from her angle.

"Waiter, could you please come here?" Joyce called over a server with a stern voice, consumed by jealousy.

Joyce slipped out from the private room entrance, making sure no one saw her, then turned to speak to the server.
