Chapter 282: Chapter 282
Quinn Lockwood pondered for a moment, and recalling the previous incident with Evan Caldwell, she truly felt a bit afraid.
"Alright, then I’ll trouble you."
Dylan Quinn and the two others walked out of the bar door, and after just a few steps, they heard the sound of someone dragging a wooden stick behind them.
"Damn it, daring to ruin my plans, you sure have some guts." A few thugs in ragged clothes were following the two men who had just been in the bar, approaching Dylan with malicious intent.
"Little girl, you should consider it an honor that I’ve taken a liking to you. I usually cherish the fairer sex, but since you’re so ungrateful, don’t blame me for being rude."
The man in the purple suit waved his hand, and the group of followers behind him nodded, raising the sticks in their hands, grinning wickedly at Dylan.
"Tie those two girls up for me, and as for the guy, beat him to death." The man’s face was ruthless as he spoke harshly. Fınd the newest release on novel✦fire.net
"The car is parked in the lot outside, you should leave quickly, I have a way to shake them off." Dylan pushed the car keys into Quinn Lockwood’s hand, retreating as he spoke with a calm expression.
"Dylan, let’s go together, they won’t catch us." Quinn Lockwood shook her head, clutching Dylan’s hand, refusing to let go.
"No, this person frequents this place. I can’t be sure if there are more of them around here. You head to the parking lot first, no matter who’s there, ignore them, just drive away." Dylan looked seriously at the thugs gathering around him, his gaze sharp as a knife.
Pulling Quinn and Xenia Monroe to a corner, Dylan forcefully pushed the two over.
"You’ll just get in my way, hurry up and leave." Dylan seemed a bit displeased as he looked at them, then his expression turned cold as he approached the group of men.
"Come on, you guys can be my practice." Dylan moved his shoulder, his eyes sarcastically fixed on several of them.
Although Dylan wasn’t a professional thug or fighter, being a top-tier male celebrity, maintaining his physique and training in various martial arts were necessary for filming action scenes smoothly.
Many professional athletes and martial arts instructors have guided Dylan.
Dylan kicked a man in the stomach, snatched the stick from his hand, and got entangled in a scuffle with the approaching thugs.
The leader of the group waved his hand behind him, and several thugs understood to chase in the direction of Quinn Lockwood and Xenia Monroe’s escape.
Quinn and Xenia clung tightly to each other’s hands. Although they both wore flat shoes, Xenia had drunk too much and couldn’t run properly.
"Sorry, I feel like vomiting." Xenia clutched Quinn, bending over in pain, clutching her chest, her face flushed brightly.
Quinn’s heart pounded wildly, her face pale as she shakily stroked Xenia’s back while frantically pulling out her phone to make a call.
Someone had to help Dylan.
She couldn’t be sure if Dylan truly had a way to shake them off.
Her entire body started to tremble, those people were aggressive, she was genuinely afraid something would happen to Dylan.
"Sierra, we still have to run." Steadying her voice, Quinn told Xenia and, with trembling fingertips, opened the contact list.
Cameron Grant, where is Cameron Grant’s name? Quinn swallowed nervously, flipping through the names.
In her recent contacts, she saw Cameron Grant’s name, and Quinn hurriedly tapped it, but due to her shaking fingertips, she accidentally hit the first name, Elias Sinclair.
"Hello." A cold voice came through the phone.
"Bar, please come quickly, save Dylan, I..."
Before she could finish, Quinn heard faint noises coming from the alley corner behind them.
She cautiously peeked her head around, seeing several thugs with ropes and bags searching for them.
Quinn dared not make a sound, pulling Xenia to run, but with Xenia drunk, she couldn’t run steadily and stumbled, falling to the ground.
"Hold it, if you want to save that guy, come with us obediently, he can’t possibly beat us alone." The thug noticed the commotion up front and quickly gave chase.
"Sierra, run, he’s catching up." Quinn gripped the phone, intending to call the police, while pulling Xenia up with force.
The moment the call was disconnected, Elias Sinclair immediately headed over.
"I’m done for, everything’s spinning, you run ahead, don’t mind me." Xenia crouched down, clutching her face, too dizzy to lift her head.
"How could I not care about you? We’re almost at the parking lot, just hang in there, hurry, get up." Quinn was nearly in tears at the sight of the mischievous-looking man nearby.
If they were captured, they’d definitely be taken away, and Elias wouldn’t be able to find them when he arrived.
Then what would happen to Dylan?
Knowing that man’s methods, he would certainly not spare Dylan.
They couldn’t afford to be caught.
Sweat beaded on her forehead, Quinn gritted her teeth, pulling Xenia up, supporting her as they ran forward as best they could.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t sustain Xenia for long.
"Don’t run, just serve our boss well later, and he’ll make sure you live comfortably." A thug adjusted the rope in his hand, leering at Quinn and Xenia.
The boss sure has good taste, these two girls are real stunners.
Once the boss tires of them, maybe he’d let the lackeys have a turn.
In no time, they were surrounded, and Quinn gripped Xenia’s hand tighter, her eyes sweeping disdainfully over the thugs.
Taking a deep breath, Quinn carefully observed their movements, deciding to seize the opportunity and grab a stick from one of them, ready to fight for their lives.
"Don’t come any closer. If you do, I won’t be polite." Attempting to stay composed, Quinn shielded Xenia, slowly stepping back.
The thugs were getting closer, satisfied, mocking gazes fixed on Quinn.
Glancing at a relatively weaker man, Quinn clenched her fist and quickly stepped forward, aiming to seize his stick, but he sidestepped, reaching to grab Quinn instead.
"Who gave you the guts to touch my woman?"
An ominous and angry voice resounded from behind.
