Chapter 65: Chapter 65

Life always taught us lessons. With every day there will be new things, to learn and understand. New mysteries to uncovered and discover. But it always taught you something. Not all mysteries are supposed to solve, not all the questions are supposed to answer. Some will always remain unsolved and unanswered.

It's good to leave behind something unknown because if we got everything then what would be the purpose of life? We should leave a purpose, a question, and a mystery behind to remind us that life is not done yet.

There are lots of mysterious that have not been solved yet and there are many questions whose answers are still in the wondering process. In your life too, I'm sure there will be some mysteries and questions, whose answers you're searching for, right?

Just like I never got to know who the heck was that old woman? She was always here from the very beginning till the end yet I never got to know her real identity. Maybe it was better to leave some mysteries unsolved and wait until they will reveal to you on their own. And the real meaning of my nightmares, of course, they were leading me towards the weakness but why the music?

So, in the end, sometimes we left still wondering about things and guessing the possibilities. Until something will again happen and reveal everything...

Because our life is also a mystery.

-15 September 2020, evening

The weather was pleasant today, not so cold and not so warm. The warm yet chilly wind was blowing and caressing my cheeks. While the sun was setting and allowing the sky to enveloped darkness and giving a chance to the moon and stars to meet.

I was sitting on a bench and leisurely looking at the sky after so while. Because of the so engrossed routine of Amino and crystal world now I barely get leisure time. Because now, I was the CEO of Amino and it was damn difficult than I thought. Dawn to dark it was work, meetings, conferences, and blah blah. While the crystal world had its own issues.

From people to royal guardians and managing their affairs and I had to be always aware of the activities of the townspeople. It was so difficult but thank God! I had Walter on the crystal for help and Veward and Bre here for all-time help. Life could be impossible without them.

Tomorrow, the day when everything started and everything changed: my birthday. So Veward asked Bre for help, handling things for today, and took me out for a leisure walk around the park neared the office.

"Your highness! Your coffee." Veward bowed dramatically and handed me the coffee. I smiled at him while he sat beside me.

Time spend so fast that it felt like everything happened yesterday. But looking carefully it had passed a while ago. What Caro and Liam did was unforgivable.

"What are you thinking?" Veward snapped his fingers in front of my eyes.

"Nothing." I smiled.

"Do you remember last year on this day I asked you something?" He asked and I looked at him confused. What did he ask?

"So what's the plan for tomorrow?" He asked with a mischievous grin.

"Nothing special. I'll just try to spend some time with my family."

"Stop playing dumb."

"What do you mean by 'playing dumb'?" I mimicked the word 'playing dumb' and laughed.

"I know you want to marry me. So why don't you say it?" He said and I almost choked the coffee. I looked at him with bewilderment. I didn't expect something like this but...

"Of course, this time I'm not going to do all that purposing thing. I still remembered the last time consequence. You know I had spent a damn night writing that long-ass speech and those preparations. And you just destroyed it by just wave of one hand." He cringed and I looked away, fighting with my tears, not to fell.

"I'm sorry about that," I whispered with eyes glued at my coffee cup. I still regret doing that but it wasn't my whole fault. I was so confused at that time. But now, I was no more confused. Now I knew what I want in my life more to fulfilled it completely.

I remained silent neither he spoke anything. When I felt someone move beside me. I looked at him only to meet with space empty beside me. My heart skipped a beat.

"Here!" I snapped my head in the direction of the voice only to found him kneeled over one knee in front of me. I smiled looking at him as my heart filled with warmth. He had a beautiful smile playing on his lips. His ocean blues eyes were full of love. I felt goosebumps all over my skin and my heart started to beat fast.

He put a box out of his pocket and opened it. There was a ring on it. A crown ring of platinum and diamonds, simple yet so sophisticated.

"It's so beautiful!" I gasped and switched my eyes between him and the ring while waiting impatiently for his move.

"My Queen of 2 worlds would you like to spend your whole life with this jealous King of Europe? Will you marry me?" He asked and tears peered through my eyes, words didn't come out of my mouth so I gave him my hand and he slid the ring in my ring finger, all the while smiling and not breaking eye contact.

He planted a kiss on my knuckles. I felt goosebumps all over me like little ants were traveling everywhere. It felt like now my life was complete. Every purpose was accomplished. It felt so good. Like I was flying in the seventh sky feeling the air tingling my skin.

A wide smile was playing on his lips while his gaze held to so much love, care, and concern for me. I put my head down letting the tears escaped as I internally threatened my luck to never touch him. I couldn't even imagine living without him.

He put his hand on my chin to guide my face up to looked at him. Tears were still rolling down my face. He smiled as he wiped the tears with his thumb, looking deep into my eyes.

"Sshh... Everything is fine now. Besides, I'm still waiting for my answer." He said and I laughed.

"Hell yes!"

I said before I leaned towards him and my eyes automatically closed. We kissed pouring all emotions into it. While heat crawled up to my cheeks and I let the butterflies in my stomach dance like there was no tomorrow.

-6 years later

The sun was rising from behind the mountains, radiating bright yellow sparks in the dim sky. Filling the sky with hope and fortune, telling everyone that there was a day after a long night.

Who thought that they couldn't escape darkness now they had escaped it a while ago. Nothing was impossible if you looked carefully you found that the word 'Impossible' was actually 'I'm possible'. So, we just had to change the perspective of our thinking.

Because everything was the game of our mind. The mind which made you a winner or loser. It was totally up to you what you want.

In the 'Royal Mansion', yes royal because according to Veward, he was a king, and apparently Marietta was a Queen so, they named their mansion royal. Today was Sunday and Royal family members would be down anytime time soon for breakfast. As Sunday was a family day so they had given off to all maids.

In the kitchen, Marietta Amino Richard was giving the final touch to her hand-made breakfast. She had settled everything on the table as looking at everything made her smiled widely. She put her chef cap and apron down on the kitchen counter and made her way upstairs.

First, she went to her bedroom where her husband was sleeping soundly. His one hand was dangling down while one leg was out of the blanket. His mouth was slightly apart and he was snoring.

Lightly smiling at his cuteness, she trudged towards the baby coat on the right side of the room. Vella was sleeping soundly there. Vella was their nine months daughter, with bright blue eyes like Marietta and the same hair as her. She looked like her baby version.

After checking her daughter, she trudged towards the washroom. When she came out in a knee-length halter neck dress while hairs falling freely on her waist. Not to forget the flower headband on her head, it became a habit of her now and she also made sure to worn a flower tiara to Vella too.

She looked at Veward who was still sleeping. Last night, they had a family outing dinner with Brett and his wife Ava. They married last year and it wasn't quite a surprise because Marietta knew what's going on in her office. Now they were accepting a baby soon.

She made her way towards the bed, trying to wake him up. As she slightly shook his shoulder after placing a soft kiss on his forehead, brushing his messy blonde locks back.

"Good Morning, hubby!"

But that sleepy man just groaned and shifted in his position, not even in the mood of waking anytime soon.

"Veward, come on get up! You know what time is it? It's already past 10." She lied, biting her laugh back because it was only 8 am. But no response.

It annoyed Marietta as he wasn't planning on getting up and the breakfast she had made will get cold soon and she still had to wake her son: Hunter Richard. And let you guys know, Hunter Richard was a trouble maker in simple words.

As two days ago, Marietta got a call from his school, they were complaining about him as he had scattered cockroaches in the library making every single person, including the librarian scream at top of their lungs. She was so shocked to hear this as she apologized to them for his behavior.

And when she asked him why he did that, 'Hunter, what is this? Who did this in the library?'

He giggled as he said, snaking his little arms around her neck, 'Moma, they said a library is a quiet place. You can't break the silence there so I was trying to break it.' Veward laughed after hearing his reply as he patted his shoulder and added, 'My son, you should use some lizards too. You know girls are too afraid of them.' And all she could do was send a glared at them.

And could you believe he was just five years old?

"Fine. Don't get up and just lie there all day long." Marietta huffed angrily as she added, "And...and don't talk to me for two days."

As she was about to get up from the bed and walked out. Veward opened his left eye, watching his wife getting angry. As he gripped her waist making her end up on the bed beside him. She screamed as it was a sudden attack and she wasn't ready for it. He crawled up to her as she punched his chest hardly.

"Idiot! You scared me." She huffed, glaring at him. He smiled as he planted a soft kiss on her lips.

"Did I ever tell you looked so beautiful in anger?" He whispered as she blushed. It had been six years of their marriage but he still managed to make her blushed and send chills all over her body.

She snaked her arms around his neck as she whispered back, "I think you should find a new way to flirt. It's too old now."

"Ohh! Then I have a new way." Veward winked as he tried to close the distance between their lips when the door of their room smacked opened, revealing a trouble maker. Marietta pushed Veward aside in an instant as she got up from the bed in a sitting position while the poor man just groaned annoyed. These two devils were villains of his romance story.

"Good Morning honey!" Marietta said as the little man came towards her, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

She picked him, making him sat on her lap while he snaked his arms around her mother's neck and rested his head on her shoulder. While beside trouble maker he was Moma boy and he loved to snaked his little arms around her mother's neck.

As Veward sat up beside her wife annoyed by the little man's presence, just a moment ago he was alone with his wife and now. He looked at the little man who was enjoying his mother caressing on his head.

"Hey little man, what are you doing here?" Veward finally said earning a glare from Marietta.

"Dada, it's morning. What are you doing here?" Hunter replied, angling his head for a moment to reply then again resting it back on her mother's shoulder.

"My son, this is my room," Veward replied, emphasizing the word 'my'.

"No! This is my Moma room." Hunter glared at his father while Marietta laughed. Veward looked at his little son as he also smiled.

"Is that so?" Veward said as he launched over his son, tickling him all the way. This was the weakness of this trouble maker that he was ticklish. Veward tickled Marietta too then Hunter launched over his father for ticking his Moma. They all laughed, playing on the bed enjoying their little happiness.

Meanwhile, in the Crystal World, in the guardian town, the sky was dark as it was the start of the night. On the colorful sky, bright stars had started to shine. Everyone was going to their houses for rest after the work of a full day.

While in the garden of the castle, where everywhere the flowers were circulating the sweet fragrance. A little girl was running from her mother because she didn't want to sleep yet.

Bell was running behind her daughter Elara as she didn't want to sleep yet. At last, she accepted her defeat as she called her father Walter using telepathy.

"What happened?" Walter appeared from behind hugging her wife as he rested his chin on Bell's shoulder.

"Nothing much. Your daughter is not in the mood of sleeping anytime soon." Bell complained, exhaling loudly as she was tired of today's work and was also pregnant.

"No problem. Let her play a little." Walter replied, looking at her daughter running behind butterflies and laughing happily. She was a cute girl of around three years old with baby blue eyes and golden hair just like her mother. And about powers, she had both of her parent's power which was quite a surprising thing.

Bell elbowed him angrily as she turned around to face him. "You're spilling her habits. She should sleep now and that's it. Now it's your duty, go and make her sleep then you're allowed to enter the room." Bell said, angrily pointing her finger at him.

"Okay, Princess Bell. As you say." Walter bowed dramatically as he said. Everyone in the crystal world now knew about Walter being a Prince so it automatically made Bell and Elara Princess.

"By the way, did Oliva found her arrow?" Bell asked, remembering about Olivia who was looking for her arrow all day. She dropped it somewhere or it happened to disappear it was still a puzzle.

"I know about Aunt Olivia ahro," Elara said, catching a beautiful butterfly in her hand.

"You know?" Walter asked quite surprised and Bell looked at her daughter for any sighs of lie or mischief but seemed like Elara was speaking the truth.

"It's Uncle Pete," Elara said and both of her parents choked the air: totally disbelief.

On the other side of the castle, in a room where the rest of the guardians were discussing the coming event. Now they celebrated a day when both Vampires and Guardians bond the new relationship of friendship. So this event was coming soon and everyone was passing their views about the arrangements.

"This year we have to make it more wonderful than the last one," Lilly said excitedly as she checked the list of requirements. Mona nodded her head approvingly.

"Right. Did Queen Isabella send her requirement list?" Peter asked as he thought it was his responsibility to make everything perfect.

"Hey, guy! Forget about the events. Tell me did Olivia found her arrow? She was looking quite angry and worried." Snow said as she just entered the room. She left to made her son sleep and in this process, his husband happened to drift in sleep too.

Snow married Mike last year after of course, she had to purpose him. Now, they had a handsome son around the age of six months. Who looked like the carbon copy of his father.

After hearing her question where Peter shifted in his seat, Lilly and Mona burst into laughter. Remembering what they had done or better to say they made Peter done in the morning.

"What so funny?" Snow asked, looking confused at her friend's laughter which only increased with her question.

In the morning, they went to a magical farm where they had to plunge all the magical healing leaves. In order to made work quick and sort of fun, they made a bet that whoever made it fast, could make the other do anything. So when Mona did it using her powers in less than 20 minutes. She won and that happened to be the horrible moment of Peter's life.

Lilly and Mona unite leaving Peter alone. And these both girls asked him to do something to piss off Olivia. Which was of course an easy thing, you could make her angry just by saying something harsh but to make it more interesting they asked him to hid her arrow. The only arrow, who happened to be the closest thing to Olivia.

And he did hide it. Without even thinking about the consequence that what will happen when Olivia found out who did it! Now, he was regretting it. Of course, he wasn't afraid of her it just... It was a bad idea of messing with her.

"Damn it!" Walter appeared out of blue just like he always did anytime and anywhere.

"What?" Peter asked horrified expecting the least thing he wanted to happen.

"Who the hell asked you to hide Olivia's arrow? Now she's looking for you everywhere!" Walter informed, looking worried for his friend.

"WHAT? But who told her that I was the one?" Peter asked already thinking of a way to hide. Hearing this Walter scratched the back of his head as he politely said, "Actually... No one, in particular, told her anything. It's just Elara was telling us and..." Walter paused dramatically looking at Peter's face, "She heard it."

"I'm dead!" Peter barely whispered. Looking at his state, Mona and Lilly quite understand his state but now they couldn't do anything.

"You're actually dead!" Roared the angry voice of Olivia in the room, making Peter jumped on his seat. There she came with raged eyes and an angry face, ready to beat anyone to death.

Where Peter ran for his life chased by Olivia. Everyone couldn't help but laughed because it happened almost every day here: Peter running from Olivia after pissing her off.

"What's happening?" The confused voice of Snow made everyone looked at her and laughed more. It was called the after-effect of marrying a white head dumb according to Olivia.

Meanwhile, somewhere in between the mountains, far away from everything. Beneath the shades of the cherry tree, on a bench, an old woman was sitting and watching everything with her shining sun eyes. A smile was playing on her lips as she watched everyone living a happy life.

On the human world and in the crystal world.

"Sometimes, it felt so good to be a part of the story without letting anyone know about yourself." As she said with her eyes shining like the sun: bright yellow and a satisfying smile playing on her lips.

She stood up from the bench and started to walk leisurely. Soon, she disappeared in between the trees, somewhere…
