Marietta P.O.V

We were standing in the middle of the guardian town. The people of the guardian town were terrified by her presence. She was like a flame ready to burn everything. She was beautiful, I had to admire her beauty but only if external beauty mattered. The real beauty was internal and she didn't have that one.

She was wearing a long black gown which ended on the ground. She had a red roses crown on her head. I wonder why she wore a rose crown? She was standing alone and making eye contests with us. Here, we all were standing - the royal guardians, I was standing in the middle of them.

"Why is she here?" People were whispering.

"What do you want?" Walter asked loudly in a straight tone.

She smiled then said, "A peaceful talk...with the princess."

"A peaceful talk?" I chuckled. I didn't know, where I got the courage to spoke like that.

"Why should I trust you?" I asked. I was feeling like a brave girl or maybe like a princess who was responsible for her kingdom's safety.

She laughed, "I'm sure...princess doesn't want any harm and violence." When she said, there were huge bats that appeared behind her.

"What does she want?" Walter whispered, glaring at Annabella.

"She sure has some plans," Olivia whispered back.

"Fine. Speak!" I demanded her in a straight voice.

She smiled gloriously yet creepily. She started to step towards me as she spoke, "As much I want to play with you but you know, we don't have enough time. So let's make it quick. After all, we all know the end." She stopped at a two-step distance and patted my cheeks with her cold hands. "I'll rule the whole crystal world."

"In your dreams," I said and that broke her smile for a second.

"Awwww little princess wants to fight with a dominant Queen. Take your time until the right time come for me." She said and laughed.

"Soon, you'll know that no one can stop me." She said and started to walk backward.

"Soon..." She heard my voice and stopped on her track. "...you will admit that it had been better if you have run away on time... Because..." She turned around. I took step towards her and whispered enough loud that she could hear clearly, "...I'm back! It's coming - your last day of life."

Her face was contorted in anger but she wasn't doing anything that made me surprised. Why she was not attacking? Instead, she giggled, "Same words... Exactly the same, what say? Oh yeah! My last day of life, huh?"

"Little Princess, you want to kill me without powers. That's funny." She laughed. "Looks like these stupid guardians have not told you that a princess can not defeat a vampire lord." She said, smirking with pride.

I looked at them and they all looked aidless. "But...." She again spoke and grabbed my attention. "40 days. Just live your life for more 40 days and then I will free you from your tiring life. Okay?" Without waiting for my reply, she disappeared. Although, I didn't have any reply.

'My tiring life! So true!'

"Why we can't defeat her?" I turned around and asked immediately.

"She is a vampire queen, with demonic spell and black magic. Her powers are unbeatable. You can't beat her, no one can but her weakness. Master told us, a princess with special abilities can win against her. She will find her weakness and will end her demonic rule." Peter explained and I frowned.

"And you think I am that princess?" I said. They all exchanged looks but Snow said, "Yes, according to Master."

While Walter looked lost in his own thoughts.

"What?" Olivia asked Walter.

"She is planning something big this time. We have to be more careful." He said.

"40 days? Did she just gave us a time limit like do what you can do in these 960 hours, 57600 minutes, and 3456000 seconds ?" Lilly said. We all looked at her like did she just actually count this?

"In simple words, she just threatened us and we have to do something before it gets too late." Mona said, shaking her head at her sister.

"We have to find her weakness as soon as possible." Bell added.

"But how?" Snow also took part in it.

'Question! Question! Question! Not a single answer is available. Everything is a mystery and no one knows how to solve it. Things are getting more tingles as a thread got so many knots and it becomes difficult to rearrange the thread. So, in the end, we cut that part. But how can we cut Annabella?

What is her weakness?'

"Don't worry. Soon we will find her weakness." Walter assured us.

"I think for now you should go back to your human world," Lilly said to me.

Human world! Oh Shit!

"Yeah right. Please send me back." I said worriedly. It took only one second to forget about Annabella and remembered everything about Mom, Caro, and Daddy. They were in danger. Daddy was so much worried about Mom and Caro. I shouldn't have left him alone. And the things I said to him... Damn it!

"You want to go back?" Bell asked.

"Yes," I replied without missing a beat.

"Then, tell me everything." She demanded without noticing the fact we were still standing in the middle of the town.

"Here?" I asked and the next moment, I was standing inside the castle.

"No, here." She said with a winning grin.

"Ok listen, there is a person who wants to kill my whole family. I don't know why? He killed my brother. He also attacked my Mother and Sister. The next number is, according to his creepy list, my Father and then my best friends and the last one is me. I have already tried my best to find him but I just can't find anything against him. He is always one step ahead of us, every time. The thing I know about him is, he has dark-deep blue eyes and a weird tattoo on the upper side of his wrist. And I have to save my family. That's it." I said everything in one breath and now I was catching my breath.

"Now, please I don't have much time. Send me back." I almost pleaded.

I didn't want that blue-eyed to hurt my father. I didn't even know about Mom and Caro's condition. I was feeling worried, anxious, panicked, and so guilty. It was too bad the way I bombard Daddy. It was wrong. I shouldn't have said all those words to him.

It seemed like I lose my shit in anger.

"Okay, we will send you back but... What if that person harmed you? Your life is really important to us." Peter reasoned.

"Don't worry. She is at last on his list. Until then we will surely find a way to protect her." Lilly said mischievously. There must be something crazy going on in her mind but she chose to avoid saying something.

"But....." Lilly interrupted Walter, "Trust me and send her back." She re-assured everyone. Walter's eyes shined, like a blue shinning star like a blue glittered stone full of powers, and the next moment I was standing in front of the mirror in my room.

I looked outside the window, seemed like dawn time. The sun had not shined yet. My eyes dragged to the clock and it was 5:00 am. I wanted to go outside the room and hugged daddy and apologized to him for misbehaving but I didn't find the courage.

So, I waited for the time to flew. Time, always flew away without waiting for anything. So, it passed and for the next two hours, I waited with blank eyes fixed on the clock. At sharp 7 am, I took a warm bath and got dressed. I wore a white simple dress that had floral sleeves pairing it with black shoes. At exactly 8:00 am, I stoked downstairs.

Stairs to the hallway, everything was silent. On the table, where Daddy was supposed to eat his breakfast every day was also empty. My heart skipped several beats, looking at the empty lonely view of the house. I never saw it like that. Some voices were coming from the kitchen.

I trudged towards the kitchen and saw Anna with some maids who were packing boxes of food. I felt some relief to see Anna. She looked at me and passed a tired smile.

"Hi!" I said awkwardly.

"How are you?" She asked, adding soup in a box and then put it in a backpack with the other boxes.

"I don't know," I whispered.

"Hmm." She hummed and gave me a warm smile. Then ordered a maid to placed these backpack in the car. Then she walked towards me because I was still standing in the door frame.

"Everyone was so much worried about you, especially Veward and Brett. They even want to send cops to search for you because you just disappeared without saying anything." She said and I looked down because of guilt.

"But Sir Max said you are stressed so maybe you need some time alone. Once you feel better, you'll come back." She told me and I felt even more guilty. I talked with Daddy very bitterly and now I was feeling very apologetic. That all was not his fault. He never wanted anyone to get hurt because of him.

'I know, how much he loves us. It doesn't matter who I am? It doesn't matter if I am not his biological child still he is my Daddy, he was and he will remain forever.'

"Well, he is right, here you are..." Anna said and I broke into her arms. I hugged her tightly because I needed one.

"I'm sorry," I whispered. She caressed the back of my head softly. "It's ok."

"How are Mom and Caro?" I asked when our car started to move.

We were heading towards the hospital with food. When we stepped out of the mansion so many reporters and cameras started to throw different questions at us. Like......

Miss Marietta, where you have been for the past two days?

What do you think who did this?

Who wants to kill Amino?

Are you suspecting someone?

Is there any business rival who is doing this?

Is your brother's accident is connected with this?

Please answer at least once!

"No comments." We said as we hopped in the car.

"Can't they just stay away from our issues, life, and family?" I muttered annoyed by their annoying presence. We very hardly got our car escort out from them.

'I really hate media, their questions, and their presence! They are like putting oil in the fire.'

"Doctors said they are recovering and out of danger but still, they need proper rest and medication." Anna explained.

Anna told me about what happened in the past two days. How Daddy was staying 24/7 in the hospital with Mom and Caro and ignoring his health. That made me annoyed, he should take care of himself too.

Bre was taking care of business as a lot of work was disturbed because of the absence of whole Amino's. Veward was trying to help Bre at work. Liam was also staying with Caro all the time and taking care of her. That's so sweet of him.

Sometimes I thought that jerk really love my sister.

We reached the hospital and with up and down heartbeat, I trudged towards Mom's room first. I slowly opened the door and peeked inside. Daddy was sitting on the sofa which was on the right side of the room. His eyes were closed. Mom was also sleeping.

Anna said, she would give food to Caro first then she will come back here. Probably giving me space to spend some time with my parents alone.

I stepped inside and because of my shoe sound, Daddy opened his eyes. His face looked tired and weak. He came forward and asked worriedly, "Sweety, how are you?"

"I'm sorry," I whispered and my head moved downward automatically. He hugged me and I hugged back more tightly. I hid in the world most protective embraced where no one could even touch me.

"No. I'm sorry. I should have listened to you." He whispered back, caressing my head.

"I think you should meet your Mom first." I heard a fake annoyed voice. I smiled, pulling apart from Daddy. I strode towards her and hugged her even more tightly, making sure not to touch her injuries. She had several bandages on her body. Her skin was warm and pale.

"My angel." She said smilingly and kissed my hand.

'No place is better for relaxing your mind than your parents embrace. These guys are my whole world it doesn't matter they are my real parents or not. I would never allow any blue-eyed guy to hurt them. As long as I am alive. I can't let anyone even touch them again. It's enough now! We have enough of this game.'
