Amber’s POV

When my eyes fluttered open the next morning, I was completed drained. Alex and I had been at all it since yesterday that I couldn’t count the number of times he had buried his seed inside of me. I blamed the mating heat but immediately my wolf started feeling worried smelling the scent of someone else instead of Alex.

I quickly turned my head toward the other side of the bed and my eyes widened seeing Marcus on the bed.

‘If tell me that I shared my night with Alex not him.’, I asked with my wolf but her answer broke the only hope of my life.

‘I don’t know, Amber. You might have drunk something or have eaten something before entering the room which forced me to block me from your mind.’, She responded, making me force to think about any such event and immediately I recalled drinking chilled water because I was feeling hot all over body. Did someone mixed something in that water?

Damn it!

How could I not realized that?

Well, that's because I was alreday in pain.

But that wouldn't change the fact that I slept with my mate's brother rather than my mate.

'What have I done? Why did Marcus did this to me?', I repeatedly asked myself in my mind. Tears started pouring out of her cheek as I got off the bed, y hand trembled in anger. I was definately angry with myself withfor being negligent about Lily's warning.

I should have known that I was surrounded my enemies and they could plot something against me.

What would I answer to Alex now? How would I face him now?

No, I couldn't face him. Infact I couldn't even face myself.

But why didn't Alex come in this room when I had asked Ms. Potter to send him to the room?

Well, did that question even matter now?

I frantically got dressed in a panic and quickly left the room.

I couldn't understand how exactly this happened?

But first, I had to confornt Ms. Potter.

"Are you looking for someone?", I heard the unwanted voice. The voice which I never wanted to hear in this situation at least. I turned my heels to face the source of voice and found Nicolaus stone, standing at the end of the corridor. "Well, she left the job."

"Sorry?"

"I'm not going to repeat, bitch. I know you heard it loud and clear.", He said in a cold tone. My fist tighened in anger but I kept my mouth shut. "The bitch who's married to my elder son have spent a night with my younger son. What a irony!"

"You...You did this, don't you?"

"I don't have habit of stabbing on someone's back.", He responded. I might not have believe him if I would have being a human because he never wanted me to see me and Alex together. But then, I could smell that he was not lying. "But that doesn't mean I won't tell Xander about all this.", He added with a sinister smile on his face. "And I will enjoy the show, when he will kick you out of his life."

Just the mention of his name was making me nervous.

'Where was he? Why did he leave without informing me? Damn, if he would have been with me last night then this wouldn't have been happened? But was I in the position to blame him when I had already done the greatest sin of my life.

I saw Nicolaus Stone, leaving from there, leaving me alone to deal with my misery.

'What should I do now?'

Stay here and wait for Alex, so that I could explain everything to him.

Or, choose the easiest way to escape this situation?

And to be frank, I really had no courage to face Alex, after betraying him.

So, I did the best thing which my mind suggested at that time.

Alexander’s POV

.

“I can’t belive this that these bastrads ruined my wedding night.”, I muttered, getting irritated on which Liam laughed.

The last night when the party was about to come to an end. Out of nowhere, some werewolves attacked on human territory. Everything happened all of the sudden that I couldn't get time to inform Amber about it because she was nowhere to be found in the party. That's why I asked Ms. Potter to inform Amber about the same.

"Did you notice that those werewolves didn't attack and kill on any humans. It was so unlike them.", Liam pointed on which I nodded. It seemed like they had attacked for a reason. But what it could be?

"Hmm"

"Does it have anything to do with the news of getting married to Amber?", He tried to guess the reason behind it. I wouldn be lying if the same thought wouldn't have appeared in my mind. But then why would they do that? Or might be I was think to much. I didn't say anything to Liam at that moment. As soon as I reached home, I looked for Amber but she was nowhere to be found in the room or washroom. I checked the other areas of the home as well but she wasn't even there.

'Where did she go?'

At last, I asked the helpers when I couldn't spot Ms. Potter about Amber.

"I have seen Ma'am going outside.", One of them said.

"Maybe she will be in the garden.", Another one responded.

"And Ms. Potter left for her hometown because her father immediately fell seriously ill last night.", The first one answered. I nodded my head before leaving from there to check the garden but then, Amber wasn't even there.

'Is she mad for leaving her alone on our wedding night?', I wondered and felt I could be thinking in right direction.

When I didn't find her even there, I asked the guards about Amber.

"Yes, I saw Ma'am leaving the morning itself."

"Where did she go?"

"I'm sorry, Boss but she didn't inform anything about it. Also, I didn't ask her about the same after all, she's your wife and I have no right to question her."

"Did my father visit here?"

"Yes, Boss, but he was alone when he left.", The guard added on his own, knowing where my question was going to.

"So, you mean Amber left from here on her own?", I asked on which he nodded meekly.
