Chapter 120: Chapter 120

Kai spent his time crying, which made Sylas feel a little relieved because the young man was finally starting to express his feelings.

Kai gasped when Sylas pulled his face away and kissed him.

Kai’s eyes widened, too shocked to react because he hadn’t expected it at all. Sylas’ warm lips pressed against his. Was he dreaming?

No, he wasn’t dreaming. He could feel Sylas’ warm breath between the kisses.

Kai looked at Sylas with soft eyes. His tears stopped.

Sylas smiled. At least now he knew how Kai felt, and he knew his own feelings too. He had only wanted to calm the young man down, but the kiss gave him happiness as well.

It was something words couldn’t explain.

Kai was still staring at Sylas with wide eyes.

"I’m sorry, you must be surprised," said Sylas, rubbing Kai’s arm.

Kai pressed his lips together. If Sylas had known, he would have smiled widely at that moment. But instead, he just looked down, held his lips, and bit them gently. His face turned red.

Sylas found Kai’s reaction very adorable. He wanted to say something when he heard a movement nearby.

He glanced from the corner of his eye.

What was with that vampire?

Vlad walked closer from the castle shadows. He paused for a moment to speak with Obi, who had apparently been peeking from earlier.

Sylas saw Obi leave right after. He didn’t know what the vampire had told him. Then Vlad darted forward. In just a blink, the vampire was already standing in front of him. Sylas was startled.

Vlad grinned slightly. "Looks like I’m interrupting you two," he said.

Sylas was about to reply when the vampire reached out, handing him something.

Sylas frowned at the small yellowish-green bottle in Vlad’s hand. "What is that?" he asked.

Kai swallowed hard, recognizing what Vlad had given him. His face flushed even redder.

Meanwhile, Sylas stayed focused on the object Vlad had handed him.

Vlad grinned mischievously. "It’s lubricant. Use it if you want. I’m sure you’ll need it."

Sylas froze for a moment, then his mouth fell open when he realized what the vampire meant. "What? Why are you giving this to me?"

Vlad’s hearing was sharper than any human’s. He had heard what was happening with Sylas and Kai. As someone who considered himself very social, he offered his help and kindly gave them his precious liquid.

Sylas felt his face turn red as he stared at the bottle. What kind of pervert carried something around and handed it out like candy?

"Lord Vlad, I don’t need it," Sylas said firmly.

"You can use it. I’m sure you’ll hurt him. You might even have trouble finding his hole," Vlad said softly and calmly, but his words cut deep.

Sylas glared. Indirectly, the vampire had just called him inexperienced.

It was true, but that wasn’t something that should be said out loud!

Sylas stood up. "You seem to have misunderstood, Lord Vlad. I don’t need that. Kai and I aren’t doing anything."

And even if they were, it was none of the vampire’s business.

Kai looked at Sylas with his head bowed. He was a little disappointed to hear that. He would have preferred Sylas to accept the lubricant and use it with him. But he knew he had no right to say anything.

Vlad chuckled softly. "You’re disappointing your slave. What a pity," he said, putting the lubricant back in his robe.

Sylas pulled Kai’s hand to take him inside the castle. But Vlad stopped him.

"I have to go. I can’t stay until morning," said Vlad.

Sylas looked at the vampire with understanding. "You’re leaving Alvaro. Does he know you’re leaving?"

"He’s asleep. I won’t wake him up. Besides, I’ll visit him often," Vlad replied.

Sylas stared intently at him. "You’ve been giving him a hard time lately. I hope you’ll be kinder to him, Lord Vlad. And stop forcing him," Sylas said, remembering how pale Alvaro had looked last time.

Vlad grinned. "Don’t worry, Your Highness, he likes it. And of course, I’ll take care of him. I’ll make sure he’s fine."

Sylas’ thoughts wandered because of the vampire’s words, but he didn’t ask further.

"I’m leaving my slaves with you. I’ll pick them up tomorrow night. They’re too excited about the festival," said Vlad.

Sylas stayed silent for a moment, then offered a solution. "If you allow it, I’ll take them to the palace."

The palace had an area for visitors and citizens who wanted to look inside. Even though it was only the outer part, people were still satisfied. Sylas was sure Vlad’s slaves would be happy there.

Vlad agreed. As long as he didn’t have to deal with them, he was fine. "All right, I’ll come back tomorrow night."

Meanwhile, the candy shop had been crowded lately, especially with Vlad and his slaves around. On the other hand, Lilian had to teach Amos, so the witch was very busy.

Especially now, she was watching something interesting happen to Amos. She found the young man unique. Outwardly, he looked calm and distant, but no one knew what was inside his head. She was amused.

She saw Amos’ body sitting calmly in the middle of the room. His soul was wandering somewhere else. Lilian knew he was forming a bond with his demon.

Amos felt his body becoming light. It was like walking on clouds, cold and hard, covered in white fog. His back rested against rocks, and on his stomach sat Selmora, the demon queen, coquettish and bold.

Her hair shifted colors, alive, curling around her. Her body was beautiful, uncovered.

Amos could feel the vibrations through his body, but he remembered Lilian’s words: don’t be afraid, surrender everything.

Selmora’s soft, melodic voice tickled his nerves.

"Make me your slave..."

Amos swallowed hard. He had already said he was willing many times. But the demon kept whispering those words.

Lilian had warned him the demon would test his abilities and mental strength.

Amos held his breath as Selmora moved closer, her round chest pressing against him.

"Order me to kill them," she whispered softly.

Amos’ eyes widened. At first he saw no one, but then several men appeared around him, bound.

He froze when he recognized them. They were the royal guards who had never returned after being ordered to bring Lilian before the prince.

The men stood tied, faces twisted in pain, wearing nothing.

Amos looked at Selmora. She gazed softly at him, still holding him gently.

"Order me to kill them..." repeated the demon. Her voice slipped straight into his mind.

Amos swallowed hard. There was no reason to kill the guards, but his body reacted on its own. He was shocked when he grinned slightly and nodded, giving Selmora permission.

"Selmora! By the eternal darkness and with the sacred permission of the ruler of the shadowed world, I command you, kill them all!" Amos said. He was stunned to hear his own voice speaking, even calling out each of the guards by name.

Selmora laughed softly. She slipped away like the wind, spinning between the men with a soft giggle.

In a blink, the demon vanished into white mist, pulling something from each man. White smoke rose into the air.

Selmora reappeared, sucking the white smoke into her mouth until nothing remained.

Amos’ eyes widened. The men were no longer moving. What had happened? Were they dead?

Selmora returned to her female form, stepping softly in front of Amos, who was still lying down. She quickly lay beside him and whispered. "I am your slave, Selmora. Command me to do anything, and give me a human soul..."

Amos didn’t move. He closed his eyes, feeling something warm and wet sliding down his body, covering his manhood. He couldn’t help but moan.

Then his whole body heated up.

It was burning, as if his blood had turned into fire. But he couldn’t move. He could only groan. His vision blurred. The heat grew worse.

Selmora’s voice filled his head. "The blood bond is complete. We will be united forever. You are mine, I am yours..."

Amos held his breath.

Amos couldn’t remember what happened after that. When he opened his eyes, he was lying in the middle of the room.

Lilian was calling his name.

Amos felt the heat vanish. The air turned cold. He looked around, then sat up and stared at his hands.

Black streaks ran along his veins.

Lilian sighed with relief to see him awake. "I didn’t expect you to make the pact so quickly."

But then she froze in shock. In another room, all the guards she had locked up were lying there, blackened. Their bodies were charred.

They were all dead. Orıginal content can be found at NovelHub(.)net

Lilian stood in disbelief, staring at the horror before her. The stench of burnt flesh filled the air. Had Amos really used them as unwilling test subjects for his terrifying bond with Selmora?

"Wow!" Lilian laughed hard.
