I moved a little on the bed and opened my eyes feeling a little uncomfortable and slight pain in my legs. My eyes grew wider seeing Aaron with me and then a blissful smile appeared on my face remembering last night. I bite my lower lip to control myself from blushing hard.

I was staring at him. That's when I felt a slight pain in my thighs and legs. I pushed Aaron a little and sat straight, only to find my legs were swollen. I sighed and kept my hand on my belly, realising it was just a normal symptom of pregnancy.

"I can't wait to hold you, baby," I mumbled. I was looking at my belly which grew compared to before when I felt a finger rolling on my back, giving goosebumps all over my body.

"Aaron" I moaned when he sat beside me while kissing on my back. I blushed realising I was lying naked on the bed with him.

"I can't believe you still blush with my touch despite making love with me so many times." I didn't say anything and covered myself with a bed sheet. He chuckled and kissed my cheek. Accidentally his feet touch with mine as a result a hissed escape from my lips. He looked at me with concern.

"What happened?" he asked anxiously.

"Nothing... Just a little swelling in my legs" I mumbled showing him.

"You're saying it little" He gasped and touched my feet. I tightened my lips, trying not to moan at his touch. He smirked seeing his effect on me.

"Leave... it will get fine" I muttered and was about to hop down from the bed when he held my hand.

"Wait" He muttered and got out of the bed only to pick me up in his arms.

"Aaron" I gasped and encircled my hands around his neck to prevent myself from falling.

"What are you doing?" I frowned when he moved towards the washroom.

"What is the use of having a fit body with a wolf if I can't carry my mate in my arms when she has pain in her legs," He said, entering the washroom.

"Today I'm going to shower you" My eyes widened at his offer.

"What?"

"Why do you always torture my ear by yelling?" He rolled his eyes. I smacked his chest.

"I will stop yelling when you will stop uttering nonsense to surprise me" I frowned and noticed his eyes on my body which made me realise I'm naked.

"fuck" We both cursed together but for different reasons. I cursed feeling shy while he cursed in the pleasure of seeing me naked again.

"Aaron, leave me. I can take a bath"

"Why are you blushing like we never did it before?" I looked at him, widening my eyes as he was not leaving any chance to redden me.

"Remember when we had rough and hard sex? The next day you were having a little difficulty in walking and I had made you bathe. Also, many times we made love in our bathroom" I hide my face with my hand and wish the ground to swallow me to save me from this man who is torturing me with his words.

"I can smell arousal" My eyes shoot up realising how wet his words made me. The next thing, I know he made me sit on the edge of the bathtub and closed the door.

I don't know how many times I came in his arms and this time I made sure that he would also come by giving him a hand job. We came out of the washroom after taking a long bath. He made me sit on the bed and wiped my hair with another towel. Not only this, he made me wear my clothes like his baby.

"Would you pamper me like this only after our child comes into the world?" I asked. He paused, buttoning his shirt and looking at my side.

"I don't know" My smile vanished with his answer. He kneels in front of me and holds my hand.

"Every day I think that I can't love you more than I do. It's not in my capacity to love you more but then I end up falling in love with you more and more. With every passing day, hour, minute, and second I felt like my love for you increases. maybe I won't pamper you like this but more than it. All I know is you both are my world and I can do anything to keep you both safe." Tears welled up in my eyes, feeling overwhelmed after hearing his confession. He kissed my lips before parting away.

"I should bring something for you to eat." He muttered and left the room. I'm still not able to believe that everything is normal between us.

"Please moon goddess, keep everything like this between me and Aaron." I prayed and looked at the door side when someone knocked on it, only to find Stefan standing there.

"May I come in?" He asked.

"You don't need to ask brother" He smiled and sat beside me.

"I think everything is going great between you and that moron"

"Stefan"

"Okay, I'm not abusing him." He said, raising his hand in the air. That's when his eyes went to the photo frame of my sonography.

"wow... When did you bring this?" He asked looking at that photo frame with a big smile.

"Ivanna gifted me" His smile vanished upon hearing Ivanna's name.

"It's nice" He muttered and kept the frame in its place.

"She told me everything" He looked at me abruptly.

"she told me about you and her relationship"

"Ohh"

"Why you didn't tell me anything, brother"

"Because it was all the past thing for me until I saw her again with the men for whom she betrayed me" He screeched.

"I won't say anything on that part" I rolled my eyes and took his hand in mine.

"All I can say is if she was wrong then you were no saint either. You also hurt her many times and she forgot you for that then why you cannot forget her? It's not that I want you two to come into a relationship. It's just I'm giving you advice as a sister" He nodded his head and stood up from bed.

"I think you're right. If she can give me another chance then why I can't" he stood up from the bed.

"I need to stop her before she goes away from me again" he ran outside before I could have said something. That's when Aaron entered the room.

"Why did he run away like this?" he asked looking at his side.

"He went to stop, Ivanna," I replied.

"Ohh but she went back to her hometown with Christian"

"She did?"

"Yeah"

"I don't know why I felt like there is something between her and Christian" I mumbled.

"But she loves Stefan and at the way he ran to stop her, I can say things are mutual from his side too" he muttered.

"Don't know what is written in their destiny" I mumbled and looked at the sandwich he prepared for me.

"it looks yum"

"Thank god… you didn't ask me to take out the food like last time" I hit him on his chest while he laughed.

"You love teasing me" I frowned.

"Absolutely right because you look so cute when you get angry" he chuckled and kissed my cheeks, making me blush. He made me eat the sandwich with his hand.

"I think we should get back to the town" I stopped munching, hearing his words and looking at him with devastated eyes. All of a sudden all the memories of our wedding day flash in my mind. I stood up from the bed.

"Aana... What happened?"

"I---I... I'm not coming with you" I mumbled what came into my mind and went outside before he would have asked any question.

"I won't go there... No matter what he says or does, I won't go there... I won't" I thought and held my baby bump possessively not wanting to lose my baby.

I sat on the bench outside my room, trying to calm myself that's when Aunt's words roamed in my mind

"I see how he makes you smile but how can I forget, he throws you out of his house at midnight when it was raining heavily? Thankfully Stefan saw you that day. Otherwise, I don't know what would have happened to you and your baby"

I started breathing heavily remembering everything and I know if I wouldn't stop thinking then I would end up having a panic attack. That's when I felt someone pull me into a hug.

"Calm down...Relax"

"No… Please no. I will not go back to that place... No," I screamed.

"We will not. If you don't want to go, it's okay, we won't go but please calm down. please, for our baby." I nod my head and hide my face in his chest, trying to calm myself in the arms of my saviour. The only person with whom I feel safe in the whole world.
