I opened my eyes when I suddenly started feeling suffocated because of pregnancy and found Aaron sleeping beside me. A smile broke on my face seeing him sleeping like a baby holding a teddy bear and here I'm his teddy. I slightly shifted his hand from my waist and went outside for the fresh air.

I sat on the bench of the park and started thinking about the moment I spent today with Aaron. A smile broke on my lips. I was lost in my thoughts when someone wrapped a stole around my shoulder. I turned my head and found Christian. He smiled and sat beside me on the bench.

"In everything, I forgot to congratulate you for this little munchkin" He kept his hand on my stomach lovingly. Christian was always my good friend whom I can trust blindly.

"Thank you"

"You should thank me for not telling Aaron about your address despite him searching for you like a maniac" I squeezed my eyebrow upon hearing him, not getting anything. Before I could ask him anything, his phone rang.

"It's an important call" I nod and he went out of the park because of the network issue. I was thinking about his words when my eyes went to Ivanna who was looking at me.

"Why are you standing there? Come and have a sit" She nodded and sat beside me.

"I'm sorry for the evening incident. I overreacted after seeing you with Aaron" I mumbled. She looked at me and gave me a half smile.

"According to Aaron, you had all the right to overreact and he is all yours... So, you don't need to say sorry for it." She replied.

"Are you okay, Ivanna?" I asked after a while, feeling she was upset about something.

"I think so, I'm and if I'm not then nobody cares about it in this world" She sarcastically laughed.

"I'm sorry, you are feeling like this. You can share with me if you want" I muttered hesitantly. We never share a bond nor do I like her much as she tried to create misunderstanding between me and Aaron before but that doesn't mean I will leave her like this when she already feels lonely.

"From the start, I'm envious of you, Aana. The way Aaron loves you, the way he cares about you, the way he treats you, everything about your and Aaron's relationship makes me envious of you. As a result, I always wanted Aaron" She chuckled and wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes. I tightened my lips not to yell at her and held the bench tightly so that I wouldn't end up smacking her beautiful face.

"You know why I proposed to Aaron on that day?" she asked and then took my hand in hers.

"Not because I love him but because of the way he loves you" she sobbed.

"I'm not getting anything, Ivanna"

"I was in a relationship with Stefan" My eyes widened upon hearing her.

"What?"

"yes... We met each other in high school. He had a crush on me and I stupidly fell in love with him. When I proposed to him, he happily accepted. For a year our relationship went very well but then slowly everything changed. He changed... His love for me had almost ended. He started ignoring me and many times used to pick up unnecessary fights with me. Every day I used to say sorry to him despite not being wrong. Every day I lose my self-respect and myself because I don't want to lose him but I never realise that I lost him a long time ago." She muttered, lost in her past. I could feel she was not lying but still, it's hard for me to believe Stefan was like that.

"He was trying his best to get out of this relationship by hurting me continuously and I always ignored his instructions, blaming myself for thinking that he did not love me. I was madly in love with him" She laughed and more tears fell from her eyes.

"I was so madly in love with him that I wouldn't have doubted if he would have told me directly and I would still roam around him like a bitch."

"Then?" I asked when she became quiet.

"You ignore many things but then a moment comes like a slap on your cheek to show you the truth. I went to a club with Stefan where he insulted me in front of everyone. I still remember he called me whore who is always ready to spread her legs for him." Tears welled up in my eyes.

"It was not his fault because I pushed him to such an extent that he had to insult me to get rid of me. You will not believe that day many people made videos and posted on social media and it was trending" My eyes widened.

"Ivanna"

"Don't sympathise with me. I don't want it." she left my hand and wiped her tears.

"I just want to share my inner turmoil," she mumbled.

"What happened after that?" I asked.

"It has become hard for me to live there because every person reminds me of Stefan's insult. I went to my parent's house but there I also locked myself in a room for almost a year. My parents were worried for me and because of that, my dad's health got worse. That day, I realised what blunder I'm doing with my life. I was running behind a person who never loved me and ignored the people who loved me selflessly. After my dad recovered, I started everything fresh in my life. Doing a business to get success and then I saw Aaron who was madly in love with you" She muttered with a smile and looked at me.

"I want that love in my life. That's why"

"Let's not discuss this topic because I will lose my temper and end up smacking your face," I said, interrupting her. She nodded her head.

"I'm sorry for everything, Aana." She apologised after a while.

"You don't need to be somewhere, only because of you only, I realise my love for Aaron."

"That's great. Well, I have a gift for you and your baby" she replied and took out a box from her purse.

"There is no need for it, Ivanna" She rolled her eyes.

"It's not for you but for this little munchkin," She giggled. I took the box and opened it. I look at her surprisingly. It was a photo frame of my sonography report. Tears of happiness fall from my eyes.

"It is the most beautiful gift I ever received"

"Indeed" I turned my head, finding Aaron standing behind me. He was looking at the photo frame with a big smile and tears in the corner of his eyes. I smile and look back at the photo frame. We both were looking at the precious gift of the moon goddess.
