Aana was gawking at Aaron, not able to believe that he offered her to move into his house.

"Aana" He called her when she didn't say anything.

"What did you just ask?" She asked to confirm.

"I asked, would you like to move in with me?" He asked calmly, praying in his mind that she would agree to it. Aana detached her hand from his and stood up.

"Have you lost your mind?" She frowned.

"no... I'm in all sense" He said, tightening his lips, knowing that it was not a time to freak her out with his answers but he loved to tease her and make her angry. He liked the way she fought with him fiercely instead of staying mute.

"Aaron it's not a joke"

"I know" He muttered and stood in front of her then pulled her closer, holding her hand.

"I'm serious when I told you to move in with me" He gently removed the strand of her hair which is coming on her face. She pushed him away, keeping her hand on his chest.

"I can't stay at your place," she said, looking at the ground.

"Why?"

"I just can't"

"And I can't let you stay at the place where you and Alice are not safe. That day I came on time otherwise" He clamped up realising what he was going to utter while Aana's soul trembled remembering that moment. He held her waist and pulled her closer when she started breathing heavily as he is now well aware of her panic attacks. He knows how easily this kind of thing triggers her.

"Aana... calm down"

"They would have"

"shhh," he put his index finger on her lips.

"Nothing had happened. You and Alice both are safe. Relax and take a deep breath" Aana followed his instructions as a result she got normal soon. He kissed her forehead.

"I told you, I will not let anything happen to you." She nodded her head.

"Please agree to stay with me"

"I can't"

"Why?" he asked annoyingly, not getting why she is continuously denying him.

"I just can't," she muttered, turning her face in another direction.

"Why? What is the problem with staying with me? You can stay here with the person who wants to harm you but you can't stay with me" He frowned, making her turn toward him.

"Answer me, Pearl."

"Because I know if I stay with you under the same roof then I won't be able to stop myself from falling in love with you Aaron" She yelled and pushed him away.

"There will be no return and I will end up being with you" She mumbled with tears in her eyes while he was stunned by her answer. He never expected to hear something like this. Rex howled in his mind because of happiness.

"It means she felt for us." Rex mindlink her human and start jumping in his mind happily. Aana wiped her tears and sat on the bed. Aaron wanted to hear those words from her mouth again but he knows if he does then Aana will realise what she uttered and then push him away from her. Till now he realised one thing Aana had feelings for him but she doesn't want to accept it.

"I won't come with you, Aaron. Please drop this idea" she said. He smiled and kneel in front of her.

"I can't let you live here" He muttered helplessly.

"I will manage and deal with Elsa. You don't need to worry about me"

"You also know that It's not in my hand," he said and sat on the bed beside her.

"Aaron please don't make it hard for me"

"What is hard for you Aana, to deal with this situation or to push me away?" She abruptly looked at him and her reaction was enough for him to know that he hit the arrow in the right direction.

"To push you away," she answered honestly, looking into his eyes. A tear rolled from her eyes.

"I don't want to love you, Aaron."

"Then what do you want?"

"I want you to leave me as everyone does. I want you to prove to me that I don't deserve anyone's love. I want to get away from you before you take the place of Vince in my life. I don't want to give his place to you in my life" Aana muttered and turned her face in another direction, wiping her tears. He could feel how much she wanted him to stay in her life. He wanted to say so many things to her. He wanted to tell her that he had no one in his life like her. He wanted to prove her wrong and make her feel that she deserves unconditional love. He didn't want to take Vince's place but wanted to make a place for himself. He wanted to say so many things but chose to stay silent knowing that she would not understand anything.

"So your decision is final," he asked after a while. She nodded her head and looked at his side.

"Don't worry... I will be careful"

"And what if I say that I don't want you to be careful but to teach her a good lesson?"

"Aaron"

"You need to understand, Pearl, that you can't just let go of people like this in this cruel world. I know you don't want to harm anyone but learn to teach a lesson to another person. If anyone messes up with you then give back double what they did to you. Everyone doesn't deserve your goodness queen" He muttered and kissed her forehead.

"Learn to fight for yourself"

"But sometimes it makes the situation worse. W--What if they do something wo--worse" she stuttered remembering what Alexander did to her.

"You don't need to worry about that when I'm with you. I will handle everything." Aaron said, caressing her hair lovingly with his one hand.

"Why?"

"Let's not make things complicated in finding a conclusion. Just live in this moment and go with the flow... Please" She didn't say anything further and rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes while he encircled his hands around her waist, taking her into his arms. He smiled when he heard her snoring after a while.

He picked her up in his arms and made her lay on the bed comfortably and went outside the room after kissing her forehead. His eyes went to the phone frame of Elsa hanging on the wall.

"I'm not a saint like you, Elsa. You have to pay for what you did with my girl" He smirked looking at her photo.

After two days

Aana stormed to Aaron's cabin and slammed the newspaper on his table.

"What is this Aaron?" she growled.

"So you read the newspaper?" He smirked and looked back into his file.

"I told you that I taught her a lesson for misbehaving with me by doing the same with her then why did you do this with Elsa?" she frowned and sat on the chair in front of her. He looks at her fireball which is ready to blast him at any moment. He knows at this moment he should get scared but a smile came on his face.

"Seriously you're smiling, Aaron" She snarled.

"You don't like it when I'm smiling?" He asked nonchalantly.

"I didn't say that." She rolled her eyes. She rolled the newspaper and went towards him to hit him but before she could do that he held her hand and snatched the newspaper from her. She glared at him.

"Don't look at me with so much love," he said, giving her weapon back. She hit his arm with the newspaper roll.

"What was the need of doing that with Elsa?"

"I didn't do anything wrong, she deserved it. You give her punishment for misbehaving with you and I made her pay for what she did with you" He muttered

"Seriously? You made her arrest Aaron in a case of dealing drugs. Not only that you made her lose her job"

"I did not falsely implicate her. She was dealing drugs." He shrugged his shoulders.

"She doesn't deal in it but purchased it to mix it in my food" she cleared him.

"It's the same thing for me" He smirked and then took the newspaper from her hand to read the news of model Elsa getting arrested.

"Relax. I just give her what she deserve"

"And who are you to do that?" She growled. He stood up from the chair and took a step closer to her.

"Your mate" he muttered and leaned towards her face.

"I can turn the world upside down for you, Pearl. I leave her because you requested otherwise I will burn that person who will try to harm you" he said directly peering into her eyes making her realise how serious he is about his words.
